Two alpacas melt hearts at a nursing home with their sweet, gentle presence. In what would be a shocking scene to most people, the animals visit residents at a nursing home and spread cheer and happiness. Aging is a process shunned and detested by most people. However, despite the general feeling toward getting older, it’s something that no one can stop. Given that human beings still have no solutions or fixes for controlling and manipulating the passage of time, aging is something that everyone does. That means people will continue to advance in age, including becoming senior citizens.

Sadly, senior citizens, especially those in long-term care facilities, are often lonely, without many people to talk to or interact with. That’s why one nursing home in Ireland devised a unique strategy to tackle this problem. Two alpacas—Paddy and Oscar—meet and greet the residents.

It’s so weird to see people who work in that facility and then act as if it’s perfectly normal to see a couple of alpacas making their way down the hallway.

Well, as it turns out they did need some additional help. A duck offers some assistance, lending a hand or, to be more accurate, some feet. Seconds into the video, one man kneels before a drum while he holds a duck. Surprisingly and hilariously, the duck knows precisely what to do. 

The animal swiftly moves its feet up and down, beating on the drum. Astonishingly, the duck finds and then keeps the rhythm with its fellow drummers throughout the clip.

Animals never cease to amaze us; this video is yet another bright, shining example of that. Who would have thought that ducks could ever play the drums?

It was just an ordinary afternoon—until their owner walked into the living room and found a sight too precious for words. Sprawled across the couch were the unlikeliest of best friends: a dog and a tabby cat, lost in their own little world of snuggles and soft pats.

At first, it was all gentle taps—tiny, careful paws reaching out in what looked like a slow-motion game of patty cake. The cat, ever the dignified one, kneaded imaginary biscuits right into the dog’s heart. One fan added, “I’ve never seen a cat and a dog so easily communicate to each other that they love each other and they both actually understand it.” Another said, “Biscuits and cobbing, a love of epic proportions indeed!” 

If love had a language, this was it. No barking, no meowing—just quiet companionship wrapped in fur and warmth.

Eventually, the biscuit-making slowed, the head nudges turned into a cozy sprawl, and before long, the two were curled up together, completely at peace. The big pup let out a deep sigh, resting his big fluffy head against the cat’s head with a few quick licks while the tabby stretched just enough to enjoy the attention

And then, as if they had been doing this for years, they got comfortable on the couch, no doubt getting ready for a long afternoon snooze. Because sometimes, love is as simple as a cat, a dog, and a couch big enough for two.

With only feet until it hits the fence, the miniature horse puts on the brakes. At this point, disaster is an assured outcome, right? The horse is going to slam into the fence and sustain an injury of some kind. But that is not the case; the horse slides and is amazingly able to stop mere inches from hitting the fence.

The video starts with the husky sweetly and gently laying its head on a pregnant woman’s stomach. The animal seems to know and understand that she is carrying a precious little one, a gift from the Lord above.
 
The next several sequences in the video show the husky lying right next to the baby, attentively and lovingly looking after the baby. That canine would not let any harm come to that child, likely stepping in and giving up its life if it would have ever come to that point.
 
At one point, a man, likely the child’s father, reaches over to touch the child and the husky essentially tries to stop him, pushing his hand away from the little one. She doesn’t want any harm to come to the child.
 
Eventually, the video ends with the child walking and playing doctor and giving the husky a check-up. But while both – the child and the dog – get older, the love and deep bond between them remains the same.
 
God certainly knew what He was doing when he placed dogs on the Earth. Some may even go so far as to say that we do not deserve dogs.

The animal wants her to get up out of bed and likely wants to be fed. The message was received loudly and clearly; you would not have to tell or hit me twice.

A fisherman received an adorable surprise as a sea otter presented him with a gift. The cute critter was apparently in the giving mood as the animal left the unexpected gift for the man. Watch the video to see the precious moment. You’ll be glad you did!

Animals are much more intelligent than most people would like to admit. Every day, they seem to find ways to surprise and astonish us with their knowledge and know-how. However, even the most hospitable and welcoming person has their limits. No one wants guests who overstay their welcome and take advantage of their hosts. When and if situations ever reach that point, it can make for some rather awkward moments. Hopefully, that’s something that never happens.
 
A clip posted on YouTube shows a dog who has had her fill of a guest. The sweet young pup wants her guest to exit her house so that she can go get some shuteye. Things are made even more awkward because the person the animal wants to leave is her owner’s father.
 
The dog insists that he get up off the couch and walk out the door. The animal starts to grunt and howl in the man’s direction. It’s time for him to go, according to how the dog sees things.
 
Despite the boxer’s hilarious insistence on the man leaving, the dog is told that it will not be getting its wish.
 
“No, Poppy, we’re watching a movie right now,” a woman tells the dog. “You need to behave. You’re going to let him finish the movie. Grandpa’s watching a movie. He’s not leaving right now.”
 
The animal is told to stop being rude, but that command goes in one ear and out the other. The animal keeps trying to pressure the man into leaving.

A cat joined a youngster in bed for a precious snuggle session. The heartwarming moment between the young man and the feline is enough to cause even the most unemotional, stoic person to shed a tear. Watch the video to see the sweet moment between the two buddies.

Cats, much more so than dogs, are very independent and strong-willed creatures. They will do what they want when they want to, and there is nothing you can do to change their desires. You can plead and prod a feline to do something all you want, but they will likely wholly disregard and completely ignore you. Efforts to get a cat to act or sit in a particular way will, more often than not, be in vain.

A video posted on social media perfectly captures the stubborn, strong-willed, but sweet nature of a feline. In the black-and-white, sped-up, time-lapsed footage, the cat hangs around a bed where a child is trying to sleep.

It’s clear very early on that the cat wants to be next to the young man in bed. The animal will stop at nothing to get as close as possible to him. The cat jumps in and out of bed, trying to find a position that is both comfortable and close to the little guy. The cat repeats this process, likely making getting shuteye nearly impossible.

About halfway through the 33-second clip, the cat’s demand is answered and responded to by the young man. The cat is in bed, with its body oddly resting against the top of his head and forehead. He finally gets the cat’s hint, grabs the feline, rolls over and holds the cat against his chest. The cat is finally at peace. It is where it wanted to be the entire time.

What a sweet moment. See, insistence and persistence do pay off!

This dog cannot get enough of the doorstopper. The animal was apparently absolutely enthralled and exhilarated by the mighty doorstopper, unable to leave the simple device alone. Watch the video to see the pup’s hilarious fascination with the item that keeps opened doors from slamming into walls.

Dogs, as it has been said, are man’s best friend. Most of those cute, furry, four-legged creatures are loving, dependable and loyal to a fault. Canines will put themselves in harm’s way to help the people they most care about. Many videos, easily found all over the internet, display those extraordinary creatures' courageous and heroic actions.

However, even though dogs and most animals are capable of incredible and surprising feats in which they demonstrate their love and devotion for their owners, they can also be pretty simple creatures. Many animals want to be acknowledged and shown a little bit of love and kindness. Do that, and you’ll likely have a friend for life.

A hysterical clip posted on YouTube shows that it also doesn’t take much to entertain and capture an animal’s attention. The video shows how one dog loves the doorstopper. Whether it was the noise or the motion from the simple household item, the canine could not get enough of it.

As the video shows, even when the animal was asked to calm down and cease playing with the doorstopper, it could not do so. Playing the doorstopper gave it too much joy. It frantically, over and over, continued to swat and play with it, causing it to bounce up and down at an enormous rate.

At one point, the animal could be heard growling at the doorstopper. Perhaps the animal believed it to be an intruder, and the dog was bound and determined to take care of the uninvited guest.

Proverbs 12:10 “An upright man has thought for the life of his beast, but the hearts of evildoers are cruel.”

A baby startled a dog, and the pup’s sweet response will melt your heart. Given the animal’s reaction, the dog was obviously not expecting the youngster’s presence and touch. Watch the short but sweet video to see how the canine responded after being surprised by the adorable child.

Animals are precious beings placed on Earth by the same God who put the sun, moon and stars in their place. Since those critters are part of His creation, they deserve love, care and respect. Who wouldn’t want to be treated in such a way?

Generally, if animals are treated with love, care and kindness, they respond similarly. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, especially if the animal is something like a lion, tiger or a bear. You’re best to treat those creatures with kindness and respect from a good, reasonable distance and behind a strong, secure barrier. Dogs, cats and other domesticated animals are the critters I’m talking about specifically.

A clip posted on YouTube shows a sweet interaction between a baby and a canine. As the video begins, the dog is hanging out, minding its own business, while it lies on the floor near what appears to be a couple of kitchen stools.

Moments into the clip, the dog’s relaxation is disturbed. The baby crawls up next to the resting canine, reaches out and gently touches the animal’s paw. The child’s touch takes the animal by surprise. It quickly turns to look and see who or what has just made contact with its front paw.

Then, we are briefly left in suspense. At this moment, everyone watching the video will have one thought running through their mind: How is the dog going to respond?

Will the animal lash out in fear and anger or respond with love and kindness? The question is soon answered as the dog sweetly and lovingly licks the child on its hand. A massive smile comes across the child’s face.
