A child hysterically tried her best to jump and grab balloons in an adorable struggle. She tried, tried and tried some more but was never quite able to reach those much-desired balloons, which seemed to be just out of her grasp. Persistence and perseverance are traits that will always serve people well in life. Everyone will get knocked down in life at one time or another. Often, those falls and stumbles will hurt. But as the old saying goes, dust yourself off, get back up and try, try again. Who knows what could happen if you keep trying and don’t give up?

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young woman demonstrates this sentiment and the old saying, showing that even though the odds are stacked against her, she will keep trying. The little girl and her mother are in a store, and she walks down an aisle with something she badly wants: balloons.

Of course, the only problem for the little one is that all the balloons are full and have drifted up toward the ceiling. In addition to the balloons’ heightened position, the child is not exactly scrapping her head on the ceiling. In fact, she is quite small and low to the ground.

Nevertheless, despite all that may be against her, she is going to attempt to obtain one of those balloons. So, knowing that the only way she can do this is to jump, that is precisely what she will do.

The child tries multiple times to get a balloon. However, her two or three-inch vertical leaps aren’t enough to get the job done. Even with encouragement from her mother, the youngster’s jumps are not high enough to overcome the difference between her and the balloons.

Eventually, a tad discouraged, the little girl calls it quits. But she gave it a valiant effort, and that counts for something.

A little girl accidentally reenacted the Cinderella story while meeting the princess. It was an unexpectedly hilarious and sweet moment between the child and Cinderella. Check out the short video to see the adorable interaction that is literally right out of a storybook.

Disney World is a place most if not all, children mention wanting to visit at one time or another. The Orlando-area theme parks are described as the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” To children, that slogan rings particularly true. Nowhere else can they hug and interact with characters such as Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Mickey Mouse.

Everyone familiar with Disney and its massive library of films will have their favorite character. For many young children, particularly little girls, their favorite characters tend to be one of the Disney princesses: Ariel, Moana, Rapunzel, Tiana, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine or Cinderella.

A short clip posted on YouTube captures Cinderella meeting a child in one of the Disney theme parks. The youngster is obviously a big fan of the princess as she’s dressed just like the storybook princess. The girl is mesmerized by Cinderella, as she seems to stop and take the sight of the princess in front of her.

However this meeting between the child and the princess is cute, but it’s especially noteworthy and memorable for one particular reason. As the child approaches Cinderella, the child loses her left shoe.

If you remember anything about the story of Cinderella, it's likely that Cinderella lost her shoe at the big ball. The prince then used that lost and recovered slipper to find Cinderella. The one whose foot fit the shoe was his true love.

This short video is a perfect example of why Disney World and its many other parks are such a special place beloved by many.

This sweet child’s heart-melting response to Mom and Dad’s wedding photos will leave you charmed! While Mom Kendyll Kirkton was going about her work day, Dad captured a few precious moments of their little boy on video and sent it Mom’s way. What a wonderful surprise!

The blue-eyed baby boy, dressed in a cuddly navy blue sleeper, reclines on his father’s thighs. They are having some guy time when the observant infant looks to his right and spies a couple of photos. It takes a moment, but he soon realizes that the pretty face staring back at him from the wall is his mommy. She and Dad look beautiful and blissful on their wedding day.

The baby boy smiles big at his recognition! With delight, he extends his tiny hand in the direction of his mother. The precious nugget turns back toward Dad and squirms happily in Dad’s lap. And, soon, the tike returns his gaze to Mommy and breaks into a smile all over again. Mom and Dad sure do make this sweet pea happy!

It’s sometimes hard for young moms to leave their little ones at home when they go to work. However, Kendyll’s tiny blessing is fortunate to be in Dad’s capable hands. No doubt, the surprise message and video from Dad made Kendyll’s day. She shared in an Instagram post, which received 4 million views, “It melted my mom heart and I couldn’t wait to get home and snuggle him.” He definitely looks snuggly! 

Commenters agree, assuring her that it would certainly be understandable if she felt the need to head home early. One wrote, “I would have emailed this to my boss with subject: in case you’re looking for me.”

Before long, Kendyll’s little baby will be a big boy, so it’s awesome that her husband was thoughtful enough to notice and share that sweet moment with her. Little kindnesses like that mean a lot to working mothers!

A young man’s heartwarming act of love provided comfort to his crying siblings. It was a surprising and tear-jerking move that his mother likely did not expect at all. Watch the video to see how the little guy responded to his upset younger siblings.

Children are, without question, the biggest and most incredible blessing in life. Every parent would wholeheartedly agree with that statement. They’d all admit that those little ones have dramatically improved their lives in every way imaginable.

However, as much as children are a blessing, not every moment of being a parent is pleasant. Those youngsters can and do get on parents’ nerves. Children tend to cry a lot, which can be too much for some people to take. But it’s important to always respond to them with kindness and love, and that is precisely what one young man did in a short but sweet video.

In the video posted on social media, the mother momentarily walks away to get dinner started. As she exits the room, the two children sitting in the high chairs notice their mom’s absence and almost instantly start crying. They are upset and want their needs met immediately.

Luckily for the two little ones, their older brother is still in the room. Instead of lashing out angrily, he attends to them and responds with love and care. He knows exactly what they need.

The child grabs a small container and then places a handful of what appears to be crackers on the tray in front of the two little ones. This act immediately stops their crying and satisfies their need.

What an absolutely beautiful and loving act from a big brother who responded to his younger siblings. He stepped up and cared for them, helping his mom when she needed to leave the room for a minute.

A cat joined a youngster in bed for a precious snuggle session. The heartwarming moment between the young man and the feline is enough to cause even the most unemotional, stoic person to shed a tear. Watch the video to see the sweet moment between the two buddies.

Cats, much more so than dogs, are very independent and strong-willed creatures. They will do what they want when they want to, and there is nothing you can do to change their desires. You can plead and prod a feline to do something all you want, but they will likely wholly disregard and completely ignore you. Efforts to get a cat to act or sit in a particular way will, more often than not, be in vain.

A video posted on social media perfectly captures the stubborn, strong-willed, but sweet nature of a feline. In the black-and-white, sped-up, time-lapsed footage, the cat hangs around a bed where a child is trying to sleep.

It’s clear very early on that the cat wants to be next to the young man in bed. The animal will stop at nothing to get as close as possible to him. The cat jumps in and out of bed, trying to find a position that is both comfortable and close to the little guy. The cat repeats this process, likely making getting shuteye nearly impossible.

About halfway through the 33-second clip, the cat’s demand is answered and responded to by the young man. The cat is in bed, with its body oddly resting against the top of his head and forehead. He finally gets the cat’s hint, grabs the feline, rolls over and holds the cat against his chest. The cat is finally at peace. It is where it wanted to be the entire time.

Everyone has something that scares them. Quite often, it isn’t just one but multiple things that evoke a sense of fear, uneasiness and foreboding. Fear, while typically portrayed negatively, isn’t always 100 percent a bad thing. Being afraid of something is often a protective measure, slowing us down to stop and consider the potential outcomes of an action or decision.

Because everyone is an individual created by God, we will and do have different things that cause us to fear. Some people may have a fear of death, public speaking, heights (me included) and blood (again, me included). When we are forced to confront or find ourselves in situations where these fears start bubbling to the surface, we all have ways of reacting and responding.

A hilarious clip posted on social media shows how one young man responded when he encountered a situation that gave him pause and caused him some uneasiness. In the video, the young man enjoys a pleasant stroll with his cup securely in hand. But moments into the clip, he slows down considerably.

The toddler notices something is different. He sees that the surface he is about to walk on has changed. It is now glass instead of the firm, sturdy and structurally sound wood underneath his feet. His reaction to the situation is hilarious and, to many people, likely wholly understandable.

Animals are precious beings placed on Earth by the same God who put the sun, moon and stars in their place. Since those critters are part of His creation, they deserve love, care and respect. Who wouldn’t want to be treated in such a way?

Generally, if animals are treated with love, care and kindness, they respond similarly. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, especially if the animal is something like a lion, tiger or a bear. You’re best to treat those creatures with kindness and respect from a good, reasonable distance and behind a strong, secure barrier. Dogs, cats and other domesticated animals are the critters I’m talking about specifically.

Moments into the clip, the dog’s relaxation is disturbed. The baby crawls up next to the resting canine, reaches out and gently touches the animal’s paw. The child’s touch takes the animal by surprise. It quickly turns to look and see who or what has just made contact with its front paw.

Then, we are briefly left in suspense. At this moment, everyone watching the video will have one thought running through their mind: How is the dog going to respond?

Will the animal lash out in fear and anger or respond with love and kindness? The question is soon answered as the dog sweetly and lovingly licks the child on its hand. A massive smile comes across the child’s face.

Eventually, the squirrel allows the child to get close enough to it to the point where he actually places the pizza in the squirrel’s tiny paws. Once the squirrel has secured the pizza, it darts away to enjoy its meal.

See, you can become friends with anyone, even wild animals. It just requires a little pizza.

What a precious moment you don’t want to miss. After longing for a furry best friend, a little girl’s sweet, heartwarming response to a puppy surprise will melt your heart. Sometimes, the sweetest gifts in life are ones you never saw coming. They’re the kind we whisper to God and pray one day it will happen. That’s what happened to this little girl whose heart was cracked wide open with hope when she got home from school and stood amongst the dog toys scattered on the floor. 

Her brother couldn’t help but ask and question his mom about the toys. Mom played along, her smile betraying nothing but a twinkle in her eye. Then Dad dropped a pillow that was hiding something precious in his lap. Sitting in the living room, calm as a morning sunrise, he held a tiny dachshund on his lap named Toast. The puppy wiggled, impossibly small but so impossibly perfect. 

The little girl stood frozen for just a moment, and then, like the first crack of dawn spilling light across the horizon, her tears came. This wasn't just a puppy; this was Toast–an answered prayer tucked deep into the depths of her heart. Toast wagged her tail and licked the little girl’s fingertips. She reached out for Toast, her hands trembling with the kind of joy too big to contain as she petted her soft fur. Her daddy then pulled her close, wrapping them both in a hug and creating a memory she would forget. 

Dogs have a way of slipping into the spaces we didn’t know were empty. They’re not just companions, and they’re family. They chase away loneliness, bring laughter to the quiet, and teach us in their unspoken way about love that doesn’t keep score. 

Toast will undoubtedly create hundreds of memories for this little family–especially for this sweet little girl whose dream of having a dog came true.

All children gravitate toward their parents, which is wholly understandable and makes perfect sense. Children want to be with the people they can trust and depend upon to care for, protect and love them. Who doesn’t want that?

There are a handful of things you can do to stay as healthy as possible. Medical professionals everywhere stress the importance of sleep and eating a well-balanced, healthy diet. Both recommendations make a lot of sense. Sleep allows our bodies the opportunity to slow down, rest, recharge and repair themselves. Food, on the other hand, is the fuel for our bodies to run and function.

In addition to proper sleep and nutrition, exercise is also necessary to stay as healthy as possible. Physical activity gets our hearts beating, blood pumping and muscles working. It doesn’t matter what the activity is; it’s all about getting up and moving.

The wonder in her eyes–it’s a reminder of the simple joys in life and how each of us is masterfully woven together by God Himself. I loved watching the wonder in her eyes! What about you? Maybe we older folks need to take one from this little girl’s playbook and smile in wonder at the wrinkles around our eyes and the gray coming into our hair.

 It’s a favorite because because it’s a song that celebrates freedom and self-expression. Besides, there’s always something we all need to let go of. As moms, we carry these dreams in our hearts long before we ever hold our children in our arms. We dream of firsts and forever moments, of milestones and memories. And this moment with Steph and her daughter is the perfect example of that. It’s a reminder that the best gifts of motherhood aren’t elaborate–they’re found in the every day, pajama and princess dress moments. At the end of the day, these are the moments that matter the most.

Household chores are not and likely never will be enjoyable. No one likes obligations or tasks that feel like necessities, but that is exactly what chores are, which is likely why there is often much grumbling whenever one of those much-maligned and despised jobs is mentioned.

Sure, some of those tasks are better and less horrible than others. Taking out the trash will always be preferable to vacuuming the entire house. But for the most part, they are all jobs everyone hates, often with a burning passion. However, like every other obligation and requirement, they must be completed regardless of how we feel about them.

But a cute video posted on YouTube shows a little lady who does not mind helping with the dishes. One could easily argue that she enjoyed helping her mother with the dishes. Without even being asked, the child started offering her assistance with those dishes.

In the clip, the toddler makes her way to the open dishwasher, surprising her mother with her offer of help. Once the child realizes and understands the task, she dives right in and starts helping the best she can.

She grabs a plate and puts it into her mother’s outstretched hand. Heartwarmingly, she repeats this task repeatedly without even the slightest bit of grumbling or complaining. She simply wants to help and be close to her mother.

What a cute video and precious moment of a mother and her little girl. Mom better cherish these moments because I believe the child won’t always feel the same way about doing the dishes as she ages.

This little boy’s hilarious crush confession is too cute to handle. When asked if he was sweet on anyone at school, the young man was hysterically honest, answering in the funniest and sweetest way possible. Check out the video to hear his absolutely adorable answers.

Having a crush on a classmate, someone you see and interact with regularly, is simply a part of growing up. All children going to school, sooner or later, will develop crushes on someone in their class.

Now, some people are more forthcoming with that kind of information than others. How embarrassing would it be for that to get out and later find out that your crush doesn’t reciprocate those feelings? It can be demoralizing and devastating. One little apparently has no fear of that happening to him. 

A clip posted on social media shows a young man who is an open book about his crush. He answers every question he’s asked about the young woman who has caught his eye. He even hilariously shows how he caught her attention, but there are some vital pieces of information that he’s missing about her.

“So, you have a crush on a girl at school,” a woman asks from behind the camera.

“Yeah, I loved her,” the little guy casually responds as he flips through a book.

Of course, the next question is, “Who is she?”

Hilariously enough, the young man is not sure.

“I don’t know her name,” he says.

After coming up empty on that question, he shows the hysterical and cute move that caught his classmate’s attention.

“Yeah, she was smiling at me when I did my eyebrows,” he explained.

He proceeds to demonstrate what he means when he says, “I did my eyebrows.” He moves them up and down several times while looking at the camera.

He may not know her name, but he at least knows how to make her smile, which will always be important in a relationship.

Don’t miss this toddler’s adorable welcome for her father returning home from work after a long day. Some moments are just so pure they leave a little glow in your heart. That’s exactly the feeling I had when I watched this sweet little girl dressed in her tiny white shirt and pink pants teetering toward her dad at the end of a long workday. Barely steady on her feet, she gave it everything she had, arms flailing, legs wobbling, and her whole face lighting up as she shrieked with uncontainable joy. This sweet little girl left no doubt that she’s a ‘Daddy’s girl.’ 

She may not have the words to say how much she missed him, but her little body made it unmistakable. Every step said, “You’re my favorite part of the day!” Isn’t it funny how kids can preach the biggest sermons without even speaking?

For Gabby Migue’s husband, coming home is more than the end of a workday. It’s stepping into a welcome-home parade of love. The video captures the moment perfectly, the sheer delight of his little girl and apparently a very excitable pup is a reminder of what really matters in life. 

The pup’s zoomie antics were hysterical compared to the little girl’s joy. As soon as Dad rolls down the driveway in his big white truck, his little girl screams with everything she’s got–because how else do you let someone know they are your whole world? The combination of baby squeals and dog zoomies is enough to make anyone’s heart swell.

A little girl and a lost goose have formed an unbreakable bond. The child and the animal have one of the cutest, most heartwarming friendships you will ever see. Check out the video to learn about the child's relationship with an unlikely animal.

Most people love, respect and appreciate animals. Even people who don’t currently have a pet themselves still likely have a soft spot in their hearts for those creatures. How can you not love those little critters?

Now, of course, some are more lovable than others and make for better pets. Dogs and cats are some of the most obvious choices for pets. Some people, who may not consider themselves a dog or a cat person, may opt for a rabbit or even a tiny, beautifully decorated bird. However, a goose is one animal that will likely not top or even make many people’s list of prospective pets.

Mostly, people go out of their way to avoid encountering those birds. They can be fiercely protective of their young to the point where they will hiss and bite anyone who comes within several yards of them. Not only that but geese can also be incredibly loud.

However, as a video posted on YouTube makes clear, all of that did not keep one young lady from becoming incredibly attached to a lost goose. The short clip mentions that the goose essentially adopted the little girl and her family. It somehow found itself in the family’s garage, trying to get in their house, and then never left.

The goose stayed close to the family on walks, following them around the block. When they took the wild animal to a nearby pond, thinking the goose may feel more at home in its natural habitat, it refused to leave. Gumbo the goose was here to stay.

The video hilariously shows the young lady carrying the animal around, holding the bird in all kinds of positions. The bird clearly enjoys all the love and attention from the child. They are buddies for life!
