All parents understand that small children hate naps. For some reason, kids do not enjoy going to sleep. Getting children to go down for a nap is similar to corralling cats. Perhaps children are under the impression that they will miss some one-of-a-kind opportunity if they sleep for an hour or two.

Kids' not wanting to take naps likely has more to do with their stubborn, hard-headed nature. Even when it is in their best interest to get some shuteye, they will fight and wail loudly against even the idea of a possible nap. This massive battle between children and parents has been going on for decades. It simply does not make sense. Who doesn’t want to take a nap?

Well, a short and hilarious clip shows one young man who really does not want to go down for a nap. He even goes so far as to try to fool his mom into believing that he took an instant nap. However, somehow, I don’t think his efforts were too convincing.

The video begins with the young man being offered a deal. He can go outside and play, but first, he must lie down and take a nap. That sounds like a win-win to me. But judging from the toddler’s pained expression, he wasn’t thrilled with the offered terms.

So, then, to uphold his end of the bargain, he takes a “nap.” The child leans his head over slightly toward a pillow behind him and then starts making noises as if he were asleep. Hysterically, he doesn’t even close his eyes during his “nap.” He wants that to qualify as a nap, but his mother is unsatisfied. So, he does it once again – the same thing.

“Perfect!” he tells his mother.

Sadly, she is still not buying that as a nap for the little guy.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of year, as the popular song says. That is undoubtedly true, with nearly everyone sure to agree wholeheartedly. It’s a time generally spent with family and friends eating delectable food and exchanging gifts. What season or holiday could top or even match that? Of course, the simple and correct answer is none of them.

The Christmas season is lovely for an endless number of reasons. However, for parents, one of the biggest joys of the holiday is, without question, watching how their children react. Seeing the pure joy, wonder and happiness across their faces is nothing short of magical. Simply seeing those looks on their children’s faces is more than enough of a gift for most parents. Making their children happy, bringing them even a tiny amount of joy, is all any parent wants.

A sweet little guy absolutely loves corn on the cob. When a young child is given corn on the cob, he quickly and surprisingly devours it, not wanting any piece to go uneaten. This clip is so cute, and given the child’s obvious love of corn, it's pretty hilarious, too.

Young children are typically picky eaters. Parents know and understand this reality all too well. Place some food before a youngster, and they will likely turn their nose up at it. Often, for reasons that go unexplained, children will refuse to eat an item. Oddly enough, children will even act this way when given something they used to eat. Again, there is often no rhyme or reason for this behavior.

But if a youngster comes across something they enjoy, they will make their love for the newly discovered food apparent and evident to all. It may even get to the point that the child starts acting out because they are not getting the particular food item fast enough. Once again, all parents are familiar with this behavior.

A clip posted on YouTube captures one young man’s deep love for corn on the cob. The short but hilarious video begins with the little guy, who remains unable to express his desires using words, trying to show his mother what he wants.

She asks the child what he wants, and he makes a quick lapping motion with his tongue. Mom questions the youngster again, and he makes the same hysterical motion with his tongue. He may not be able to say it, but guessing by what happens next, I’m guessing that meant: “Corn on the cob now, please!”

The rest of the clip shows the little guy with corn on the cob in his hands and mouth. He appears to be in absolute heaven, considering how he refuses to take his eyes off the corn and chows down on the vegetable. 

Near the end of the video, someone off the camera can even be heard commenting, “He demolished it!”

The youngster held a firm and unshakable opinion only seconds before but was quickly swayed to see things differently. Most people have thoughts and opinions on nearly every topic and issue imaginable. They also like to say they have an open mind and are willing to discuss those subjects honestly without getting upset. If a good argument is presented from a different point of view or position, they are open to changing their opinion, or so they say.

But we all know how this goes every time. Typically, when there are differing opinions on even a relatively contentious topic, voices rise and tempers flare. Look at social media or any of the 24-hour news channels for evidence. The second someone presents a different view than the one we hold on a topic, most people feel personally attacked. All debates and discussions are immediately shut down and over.

That was not the case with one little girl. In a clip posted on YouTube, she said she did not want her father to leave her and go to work. She was adamant that he not walk out, going so far as to stand in front of a door to block his exit. It was her firm, unshakable opinion that he stays home with her.

But her father did not need to do much to get her to see things differently. He only asked one question, and she immediately relented and let him walk out the door.

“Do you want toys and chocolate?” he asks her.

“Yeah!” the little girl enthusiastically responds.

“Then daddy’s got to go to work,” he says.

“Ok,” the child says as she moves away from the door.

All it took was the mention of toys and chocolate for the youngster to change her position.

One dad immediately dropped everything he was doing when his daughter said she needed a “cuddle.” This father literally jumped into action when his young daughter mentioned that she needed attention. This is such a cute, heartwarming, must-see clip. Check it out!

Children are only little for a limited amount of time. Blink and their childhoods are over. Sadly, this is a fact that every parent knows this all too well. Most would likely give anything to return to a time when their children were little and still living at home, dependent on mom and dad.

Because all children have a nasty habit of growing up, those childhood moments are precious and limited. Childhood is temporary, and parents must take every opportunity to spend time with their children, especially when they are little. Sometimes, parents spending time with their children means dropping everything they are doing and springing into action, literally. She tells her father, “We can do it again, Daddy!” He quickly leaves the room, but the little girl calls him back in, shouting once again that she needs a “cuddle.” He again responds to his daughter, running into the room to give his sweet daughter another massive, warm, loving embrace.

She repeats several more times that she needs “a cuddle,” and her father responds every single time.

What a sweet and heartwarming clip! This will be a moment that both will remember for a long time.

Little Kyler and the garbageman share the sweetest friendship, and they are making his third birthday a special day that he won’t forget. While at his grandmother’s house, Kyler couldn’t wait for his special birthday present to arrive. It wasn’t toys or books; it was everyday guys that were heroes in his eyes. In the video, you can’t help but grin as Kyler anxiously awaits for the garbagemen to arrive. 

As the familiar green truck rolled up, Kyler's face lit up! He dutifully handed one of the garbagemen some treats, homemade cookies.  When the garbagemen took the cookies, they also greeted him with smiles, instantly making him feel like the most important kid in the world. Then, garbagemen welcomed Kyler into their truck, allowing him to climb aboard it. He got to see the inside of the cab and had the perfect view of what it looks like to travel down the streets. But the fun and excitement of the day didn't end there. They helped him learn how the truck works and showed him how to pick up the garbage and compact it. He eagerly pushed buttons and pulled levers with the help of his heroes as he got to experience firsthand the magic of how they compacted the garbage they collected. The roar of the compactor filled the air as he watched with wide eyes and a grin on his sweet little face. 

This delightful interaction serves as a reminder that our biggest heroes are often the everyday people who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Whether it's the friendly garbageman, a teacher, or a neighbor, these unsung heroes make a big impact on our lives. A cat’s precious and adorable reaction to a crying child will absolutely melt your heart. The feline’s move is entirely unexpected, but it is still so incredibly heartwarming. You will most certainly want to check out this clip.

For anyone who has ever had a cat or even had much interaction with one, you understand they are some of the most stubborn, hard-headed creatures on Earth. They will not do anything unless they 100% want to do it. No amount of pleading or prodding from you will change their will either.

In addition to being strong-willed, felines can also be incredibly sweet. Many love nothing more than jumping on the couch and cuddling beside you. That side of them may not come out as often as their stubbornness, but it most certainly exists. A clip posted on social media caught this sweet and loving side of one cat.

In the video, a young man is wailing loudly and crying for some unexplained reason. Moments later, a large, fluffy cat enters the room with the upset child. The toddler's loud noises don’t seem to bother the feline. In fact, the cat walks right by the young man, stops and then turns back around to the little guy.

After turning back around to the upset child, the cat attempts to stand up, using the kid to balance itself. It then basically gives the toddler a concerned pat on the shoulder. The cat clearly understands that the child is in distress and wants to do something to help.

But that light tap on the shoulder is not the cat's only comforting move. The cat then climbs onto a nearby chair, gets at the child’s eye level and begins rubbing its face on the child as he continues crying.

The cat is 100% trying to comfort the child.  How sweet!

Children, especially young children, can get upset relatively quickly. Parents are well aware of this fact. When youngsters become agitated or bothered by something, parents employ a variety of tactics to soothe and comfort them. One of the most common ways of doing this is by singing a recognizable tune to them.

In addition to becoming easily agitated and bothered, children are extremely honest. They have not developed this filter between their thoughts and the words that come from their mouths. Ask a child if you want a frank, truthful opinion on something. But be prepared for what could follow. Those youngsters are likely to give you an answer without any regard for your feelings.

As one adorable clip shows, having a bite to eat together is not just something humans enjoy doing with one another.

The short video begins with a young woman sitting in what appears to be a stable, enjoying a cup of fruit. Strawberries seem to be her fruit of choice. But instead of being greedy and keeping all those delicious pieces of fruit to herself, she decides to share.

The generous child offers a pony nearby a slice of fruit. With it resting in the middle of her palm, she holds the sweet treat up to the horse, saying “Here” as she does so. However, the pony’s attempt to gobble up the treat does not go as planned. The animal knocks it out of her hand and onto the ground.

For several seconds, the girl points at the fruit on the ground, instructing the animal to pick it off the ground. However, the animal fails to follow the child’s instructions. Shen then picks up the piece herself and offers it to the horse a second time. This time, it is a success as the horse scarfs the fruit down.

But that is not all. This bonding moment continues. 

The girl goes back to enjoying her snack, and then the horse hilariously informs the child that it would like seconds and, possibly even thirds.

A child’s heartwarming reaction to his dad’s birthday celebration brings tears because he’s so proud. Making memories with your family is a lifetime goal. Capturing the beauty, joy, good times, and not-so-good times is what bonds a family. Some moments capture the beauty of pure love, and that’s exactly what happened when Haley Shield’s young son Tennyson had such strong emotions during his daddy’s birthday dinner. 

The family decided to go out for dinner and celebrate good old Dad and the restaurant joined in on the celebration by singing Dad a happy birthday song. But it was Tennyson’s reaction that stole the show and made the moment all that more memorable. 

Tennyson kept shouting, “Happy Birthday, Daddy!” as he snuggled and hugged his dad. But moments later, tears were streaming down his little cheeks. The now-viral clip, which gained over 23 million views, was captioned, “When your daddy is a hero and it’s his birthday, and you can’t hide your love for him.” No one could get enough of this special moment. One viewer commented, “He was so proud of all these strangers celebrating his favorite person, as well as overwhelmed with emotions. Best thing I’ve seen all morning!” Another added, “His little heart was so filled with love and happiness he didn't know how to express it so it came out in tears!”

Tennyson’s dad must be truly a special guy. His son thinks he hung the moon, and he is just so proud of his daddy. I bet this was one of the most special birthday gifts he received, a heartwarming moment of pure, unfiltered love from his little boy. Haley’s tender video is a reminder of the simple yet powerful bonds dads have with their children and it’s touched millions of people around the world.

One little guy has a lot to say about roads that are left unpainted – and it’s adorable. To say that the young man has strong opinions on unpainted roads would be to put it lightly. He has no fear of letting everyone know exactly how he feels about roads he believes to be unfinished.

Those who work in construction have hazardous jobs. Often, they work in bustling, high-traffic, dangerous and risky areas. One false move from a construction worker or a motorist in that area could result in a horrific accident. That’s why proceeding with extreme caution in construction areas is always a good and advisable idea.

Everyone wants road work completed as quickly as possible. But in addition to speed, it must be done correctly and accurately. An error here or there could be disastrous for motorists. But there are also times when using simple logic and following the rules of the road should be enough for motorists. Hilariously, one young man believes otherwise.

“If I were working on the roads, I would actually paint them,” he said.

Later in the video, he mentions some of the problems that could be caused by the lack of paint on the roadway.

For many people, the lead-up to Christmas Day is filled with excitement and anticipation. Some can hardly contain their joy as they love and bask in every second of the Christmas season.

Ads have become so ingrained in our everyday lives that we likely don’t even realize we’re being advertised and prodded into purchasing a product or service. However, a few things don’t require any marketing because their value is widely known and accepted. One of them is, of course, candy on Halloween. Picking up free candy is the entire point of trick-or-treating, right?

Well, a short but hilarious video posted on social media shows a young man practicing his Halloween candy sales pitch ahead of October 31st. He wants people to understand the benefit of the candy he offers freely.

While dressed as a ghost, the young man holds two packets of candy and gives his best sales pitch to no one in particular. I mean, practice makes perfect, right?

“Guys, if you are hungry, a spooky ghost will give you candy,” he says. “Spooky candy! Here, here, here! Here! Here!”

After the little guy’s impassioned candy plea, the camera turns to show that he was talking to no one. He is then informed that he must wait to give out his “spooky candy” to trick-or-treaters. Once he hears this, he seems a little dejected and lets out a small sigh.

Despite not having anyone to give candy out to, the little guy’s candy sales pitch is perfect! Who wouldn’t want “spooky candy” from a “spooky ghost?”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter hilariously refuses to believe that her father is in “Moana.”

Dwayne Johnson is a massive movie star, and one of the most famous people on the planet. Every few months, he seems to have another movie set to open in theaters. Audiences seem to love everything he’s in, including the always-popular Fast and Furious films. Of course, every film he’s in attracts theaters full of people and makes millions of dollars.

His resume is quite impressive, to say the least. Given the many videos of him floating around on social media, he also seems to be a pretty kind and generous guy. He also makes time to interact with his fans.

But despite all his money, fame and the never-ending lineup of successful movies, one person doesn’t seem all that impressed. Throughout his career, Dwayne has been in several movies and played various characters and roles. But there is one film of his that his young daughter, Tia, refuses to believe that her father was in: “Moana.”

In a short video posted on YouTube, Dwayne has his little girl on his lap as they sing a tune from “Moana.” In that beloved animated Disney film, Dwayne voiced the character “Maui.” But no matter how many times he and his daughter sing that song together, she is not convinced that her dad had a part in that movie.

In the video, Dwayne perfectly sings the song, never missing or flubbing a word, which shouldn’t be too hard for him to do because he actually sang that tune in the film, and is the voice on the recording they are singing along to. But, after the song ends, Dwayne asks his daughter an important question near the end of the clip.

“Tia, is daddy Maui?” Dwayne asks his precious little girl.

She wastes no time answering and says, “No,” confidently and decisively, without any hesitation.

This golden retriever melts hearts with his sweet and heartwarming act of love. 

Dogs have earned the title of ‘man’s best friend’ for so many heartwarming reasons, and their loyalty and unconditional love make them unlike any other companion. They’re always there for us no matter the situation. They give us their love and comfort when we need it most. And they love to provide hours of entertainment too. The best part of our day is when we arrive home, and our dogs greet us with their tail wagging and endless affection to lift our spirits. They become a family member in so many ways. 

And that’s what this couple discovered after the birth of their son Frankie. They couldn’t figure out why extra dog toys were showing up in Frankie’s playpen. When they realized what was happening, it melted their hearts in the sweetest way possible. Beau, their golden retriever, was the best big brother anyone could dream of. 

In an utterly heartwarming video, the parents caught their lovable dog carefully dropping his own toys into the playpen for his baby brother. Sometimes, he’d hop on the couch and gently drop a stuffie toy from above into the playpen. Other times, he would tenderly place a toy right next to his little brother’s hands as if he were waiting to see if he liked the new toy he offered. 

When they caught the dog in action, it made them realize why they kept finding Beau’s toys in the nursery before Frankie had been born. Beau knew his little brother was coming, and he wanted to show how much he cared and how excited he was. He was sharing his toys as a way to say, “I love you.” As the parents reflected on all those little moments, it made them tear up as they realized the pair would have a special bond as Frankie grew up. 

Just when you think you couldn’t possibly love dogs more, moments like this remind us of how selfless and affectionate they truly are. Beau’s simple act of love showed us how deeply our furry friends connect with us, and the bond between this pup and a little boy is sure to be a lifelong one.

These cute and hilarious dog truths are as accurate are they are adorable. Meet Elvis the black lab, he’s been growing up right alongside his human brother Ted. Together the pair show the world what it means to have a furry best friend. 

Elvis is a big, black, lovable Lab who’s as gentle as he is playful. Together, the pair love sharing snack time. Who wouldn’t want to share popsicles, crackers, or even ice cream? If there’s a mess, Elvis has no problem becoming the clean-up crew. Even when Ted gets full and doesn’t want to finish his snack, Elvis will tackle every last crumb. What’s even cuter is Elvis knows exactly where to sit during dinner time to get a few treats from Ted. He doesn’t need to finish his broccoli or steak; Elvis will do it for him!

Elvis isn’t just part of the snack crew; he’s also the watchdog crew. He’s also Ted’s gentle protector. Whenever visitors arrive, Elvis barks, and Ted joins in. Sometimes, Ted feels the need to let out a bark or two and giggles in fits of laughter when his pal joins in. I’m willing to guess the Amazon driver and mailman get a kick out of this pair. It is absolutely adorable to watch Ted bark and then see Elvis join in. 

If you need another reason to get a dog, how about someone to cuddle with? Nap time isn’t nearly as fun unless your buddy is with you. Elvis positions himself near Ted. His calm presence offers comfort to this sweet little boy, and watching the pair nap is beyond adorable. Ted curls up against Elvis’ soft, warm fur, and the pair gets cozy as they drift off to dreamland. 

Perhaps the best reason to have a dog is that he’s willing to take the blame if something accidentally gets broken. The pair are filmed together when certain objects seem to have been broken, like a chewed-up cardboard box. I’m willing to bet there were some tasty treats in it that Ted ate while Elvis got busy getting rid of the rest of the evidence. It’s even cuter to watch Ted try to wrestle away a baseball cap that his pup loved chewing on. 

There’s nothing more heartwarming than having a friend to play with for life. Not to mention to nap with, get into trouble together, and make sure home is a fun and safe place to be. Through every snack and cuddle time, Elvis is there and ready for the next adventure. What’s there not to love about dogs?
