Dogs are some of the best things about living on Earth. Yes, all animals are wonderful, but there is just something extra special about canines. After all, dogs are the animals often referred to as man’s best friend, not cats, rabbits, fish or anything else.

And to be fair, dogs have earned the right to be called man’s best friend. They love unconditionally and are some of the most loyal and dependable creatures you’ll ever encounter. Additionally, tons of videos are floating around on social media of dogs risking their lives and safety for their owners.

Also, dogs sometimes just steal your heart with their heartwarming, loving and gentle antics. That is precisely what happened in one video posted on social media. The short clip begins with the toddler on the floor, sitting next to the husky, a gorgeous dog. The young woman slowly makes her way to the canine, reaching out her arm toward the animal. Her actions show that she is clearly coming in to pet the animal. Can you blame her? Who wouldn’t want to pet that pup?

As the child approaches the dog, a woman behind the camera reminds her to be gentle as the toddler lightly touches the animal. After gently petting the animal, the child throws up her arm in joy.

But then the dog makes what is likely the cutest possible move. After the child backs away ever so slightly, the husky falls over, onto the floor, with its head near the young woman’s lap.

We have all been significantly blessed in life. Sure, we may not have everything we want, and some things might not be going our way. However, if we were to stop and consider everything in our lives and all we have, we’d conclude pretty quickly that we are, in fact, blessed.

Yes, the Bible mentions that we should take our worries, cares, burdens and requests to the Lord in prayer. But remembering to thank Him for all we have should be something we do regularly. But no matter what she did, Sue always failed miserably, with her attempts often ending with hilariously disastrous results. However, no matter how frequently she failed, Sue never lost her happy-go-lucky personality and sunny disposition. She was the eternal optimist.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Eden mentioned that she recently showed her children the beloved sitcom, “The Middle.” (How does the actress who played Sue Heck have children already? That makes me feel so old!) Viewers see the two youngsters on the couch watching a clip of “The Middle,” which shows Sue telling Frankie about her ambitious summer plans.

Next, as Eden mentions, her kids immediately recognized the actress playing Sue Heck as “mommy.”

“They both sat in complete silence for about 10 minutes until one of them said, ‘That’s a mommy!’” Eden said.

However, apart from seeing their mother on television, Eden’s kids also had another reaction. While they admitted to spotting their mother on television, Eden states they didn’t seem all that impressed. Both of her kids mentioned their desire to watch “Bluey.”

Firefighters and police officers are two of society’s biggest heroes. The men and women who work in those two fields regularly, almost daily, put their safety and lives on the line for others. They selflessly give of themselves, protecting and looking out for others and their well-being. They should be given much more praise and gratitude than they receive. Their swift, decisive actions are, more often than not, lifesaving, especially during emergencies and times of great distress.

One young man seemed to understand how much the men and women who work in law enforcement do for us regularly. In a clip posted on YouTube, the little guy, who was enjoying some time playing at the park, stopped what he was doing and approached an officer standing nearby.

The child, who was only 3 years old, walked up to the officer, stopped, and held out his hand. The child wanted to give the man in uniform a handshake and thank him for what he does for him and everyone else.

While diligently standing watch, the officer does not immediately notice the little guy with his outstretched hand. However, eventually, the officer spots the child near him and shakes his hand.

It’s an unbelievably sweet moment. That 3-year-old obviously has parents who have taught him correctly. For him to go up to a police officer unprompted and shake his hand is heartwarming and tear-jerking. Children that young don’t do stuff like that; many adults don’t have the presence of mind to do that kind of thing, either.

But to keep her from ruining their devices, Mom constantly reminds her that her taps must be gentle. So, whenever the child taps her mom’s smartwatch to silence it, she taps it while saying “gentle.”

Mom added that the child now believes this method is how you shut off anything that is being noisy. So, thinking this is how you make everything loud quiet, the child thought it might work on her sibling.

“One of her siblings would not stop talking, and it was very early in the morning,” the mother said. “She said a few times, ‘Please stop,’ referencing the constant communication that was coming out of their sibling’s mouth. And she walked over to her sibling, tapped her sibling on the mouth, and said, ‘Gentle.’

There are many worse and harsher ways to tell someone to shut up.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”

For the most part, we are incredibly blessed. Yes, everyone has their share of problems and issues, whether financial, physical, emotional or something else entirely. But if we were to stop and think about all that we have and everyone in it, we’d quickly conclude that we are, in fact, blessed.

Of course, the Lord is the source of all those blessings and good things in our lives. He continually gives to us, working in and touching our lives as He regularly meets our needs. Often, you’ll also find that in addition to supplying our needs, He will fulfill many of our wants, desires and requests. He is very good to you and me, giving us more than we deserve, and rightly, He deserves to be praised and thanked for it.

One of the best and most common ways and places to express our gratitude to Him for supplying our needs is to do so right before eating a meal. A clip posted on YouTube shows a terribly cute young man doing just that.

Is there anything better than seeing a smile on a child’s face? That’s all any parent ever wants to see. They simply want to see their little one happy and will do whatever they can, within their power, to make that happen.

For one mother, making her youngster happy meant inviting some of the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood to her son’s birthday party. The little guy was turning 2 years old, so the mother pulled out all the stops and obviously called in a few favors to get those special guests to make an appearance.

In the short video posted on social media, the birthday boy opens the door and is immediately and unexpectedly greeted by a trio of real characters. Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore were right there to greet him as he woke up.

But that wasn’t the only thing. 

Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore were all dressed for the special occasion. They had all been fitted with birthday party hats. They had all also brought balloons with them. However, it’s unclear if they each brought a gift or if all three decided to go in together on a present for the youngster.

When the birthday boy opened the door and saw who had shown up for his second birthday, he was completely blown away. He could not even speak. All he could do was smile and point at his guests.

That youngster’s reaction and big smile are what every parent hopes for their children. They just want them to be happy.

Buskers play on the street, hoping to gain an audience and impress many people with their musical skills. Hopefully, their performance will go viral on social media, earning them an even wider audience. Social media is full of musicians singing and performing as they gain widespread attention for their unbelievable gifts and skills. One clip on YouTube shows that giving a terrific performance is not the only way to get attention. Sometimes, a little audience participation can help as well.

You’ll often hear people refer to something as a “classic.” It’s an adjective that many will frequently and repeatedly use to describe everything from movies, songs, cars, television shows and even a favorite, beloved dish. Of course, we all know that not everything can be a “classic.” It’s a word that seems to have lost meaning because it is so overused. Because if everything is a classic, then nothing is truly a classic. Very few things can be called classic, but almost every song from the beloved group The Beach Boys could easily be described in this way.

In a clip posted on social media, a young woman earnestly looks up at her mother as she asks Google to play a tune from The Beach Boys. The little lady badly wants to hear “Barbara Ann” from the Southern California group. She says as much, saying “Barbara Ann” as it’s heard in the beloved hit song, in a very sing-songy fashion.

Once the song starts, the child’s face is covered in a massive smile. It’s a look of pure joy and happiness. She then moves to the dance floor and begins showing off her fancy footwork as the recording of Mike Love, Brian Wilson and the rest of the guys performing plays.

If pointing out the rapid movement of her feet to the child was not enough, Mom goes one step (pun intended) further. She continually states what she’s doing as well. “One foot, two foot, one foot, two foot,” she says.

The child is captivated, unable to take her eyes off Mom’s spirited and hilarious walking demonstration. Soon enough, it’s time for the child to display what she has learned and try to mimic Mom.

A pair of tiny hands pitched in with a construction crew in an adorable moment. The crew, while working on trying to fix a problem on a highway, got some extra help. Watch the short but sweet clip to witness the heartwarming moment.

Everyone wants to be where they fit in, are accepted and feel like their contribution to the group matters. One of the worst things in the world is to be excluded, cast out and thrown aside. That is likely a significant reason many people feel lonely and forgotten today. At some point, they were likely ridiculed or mocked and cast out from the rest of the group.

That would be painful and could significantly impact someone for the rest of their life. That’s why it’s so important to always try to include as many people as possible. We can never be sure how someone will react to being excluded or how it will affect them.

In a clip posted on social media, a group of construction workers did exactly that for one young man. They made sure to include him while they were working on the road. The video shows the child appearing to help smooth out some newly laid pavement as two crew members closely supervise the youngest member of their crew.

“To the gentleman that called him over to help..he will talk about this for years,” the text reads.

Making sure to include someone does not require much time or effort. Those men could have simply disregarded and ignored the little guy, but they did not. Instead, they went out of their way to include him and to make him feel special. It was a simple act of kindness that can and likely will have a significant impact on him for years to come.

This teacher’s PB&J lesson hilariously proves why details matter. The young woman gave her students a writing prompt and followed the directions precisely as the youngsters wrote them down. It's frequently mentioned how much the little things matter in life, which is most certainly true. Details are essential in every area and facet of life—on the job, when booking a trip, in marriage and relationships with everyone else. As most people already know, overlooking those tiny, seemingly insignificant details can be and often is costly.

However, as costly as missing details can be, remembering them will often impress and make a massive impression on people. In a job interview, they can be the difference between getting the position and not. When it comes to marriage, or any other relationship, for that matter, remembering the details can make a monumental difference. People want to know what they say and do matters, and remembering the details is one of the best ways to show that. 

In a clip posted on social media, a group of students gets an unexpected and hilarious lesson in the importance of details. The woman stands behind a table with a loaf of bread, a jar of jelly and peanut butter resting on it. She then explains the situation to the students.

“I am going to read some of your responses on how to make a PB&J, and then I am going to copy exactly what your writing says,” the woman says.

Things go from bad to worse rather quickly, as the students leave out several crucial details about the sandwich-making process. Eventually, the teacher smears peanut butter and jelly on the loaf of bread and even on her arms.

The children watch the teacher’s demonstration in absolute horror. They scream and yell, informing the young woman that she is doing everything very, very wrong.

A concerned cat stepped in and comforted an upset child. The feline knew precisely what the little one needed and took action to calm the youngster down. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to see the moment when the affectionate cat attended to the distressed child.

Animals are great, aren’t they? Who would or could argue otherwise with a straight face? Those cute, furry, four-legged creatures are loving and loyal and make for some of the best friends we’ll have on this earth. Their presence is yet another way the Lord blesses and touches our lives.

When you have a pet, it’s easy to think of yourself as constantly caring for them. Yes, we must feed them, give them water, brush them and take them for walks. Without us, their food and water bowls would never be refilled, and they can’t run a brush through their coat, so their fur would quickly become one big, matted and tangled mess if not for us.

But what about what they do for us? A clip posted on YouTube shows a cat providing comfort and attention to an upset child.

In the video, the child sits in the middle of the kitchen floor. Behind the youngster is a woman who is almost surely the child’s mother. She appears to be washing dishes. However, the youngster is upset and throws a fit for one reason or another. Mom is well aware of the child’s current state as she speaks to the child, but that does not help soothe the baby.

Seconds into the clip, a cat enters the room. It immediately approaches the upset child and begins brushing up against the little one. The cat’s mere presence in the room and then its actions instantly change the baby’s mood. The child stops crying and wailing. The cat knew exactly what the child needed and how to care for the little one in that moment.

A youngster called 911 when his sweet treat went missing. The child reached out to emergency services when he made a sad and unfortunate discovery: his ice cream was nowhere to be seen. Watch the short but hilarious video to hear about the child’s call to 911 when he could no longer find his ice cream and how the situation was ultimately resolved.

Police officers, firefighters and EMTs are true heroes. They are the first people to arrive at the scene of a disaster. When bad, horrible and fatal things happen, those individuals are called and often respond within minutes of receiving those calls. They save lives on a daily basis and don’t get near the attention and praise they so rightfully deserve.

A 4-year-old child already seemed to understand how much first responders do in an emergency, which is likely why he phoned 911 when his ice cream was gone. Missing ice cream was an emergency in his world. As the clip posted on social media explains, the child’s mother had eaten the youngster’s sweet treat.

“My mommy is being bad,” the little boy tells dispatchers on the phone.

Later in the clip, the mother gets on the phone and explains the situation.

“I ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911,” she said.

Despite the child’s erroneous phone call, officers still visited their apartment to check on the mother, the child and the missing ice cream.

But that is not where this story ends. The video mentions that officers returned to the location where the sweet treat was first reported missing with ice cream. During their second visit, they brought with them ice cream for the young man. 

Yes, the young should not have made that call. While missing ice cream is never a good thing, I’m not sure it’s an emergency that requires police officers. However, thankfully, it seems like everyone understood that it was an innocent mistake made by a child.
