So, given that they are some of our best friends, it shouldn’t be any wonder when they become buddies with one another, even if those friendships might initially seem a little odd and unexpected.

This unexpected friendship came about after Buttons, the deer, was rescued, with the plan to rehabilitate the animal and release it back into the wild, which is what happened. However, during that time, the two struck up a lasting friendship, which now causes Buttons to return to the house periodically to see G-Bro.

Through prayer, we can lay our burdens, cares, concerns and requests at His feet.

Some may start to wonder if He's listening or even cares after constantly praying on this or that subject and then not seeing any movement or progress. But we can rest assured the Lord hears and answers what we say in prayer, although it may not always be the answer we want or on our timeline. The clip tells the story of a young woman and a loving, adorable cat. She explains that she asked the Lord to bring her "a loving man." He answered her prayer, as Odin, the cat, is a male and likely the most lovable cat you'll ever see. The animal looks at her with so much love in his eyes, as he gently paws at her face.

While she is thrilled that God put Odin in her life, she believes she needs to be much more specific in her prayers.

"I think I should have been more specific in my prayer when I prayed for a man that was, you know, obsessed with me, that likes to cuddle," she said. "Because I think that I was sent him, and I believe he's a cat."

What an absolutely adorable cat and a terrific blessing from the Lord. While Odin was not the male that she was hoping for, I'm sure the Lord has someone special in mind for that young woman.

A Florida café charms visitors with its adorable but very unexpected residents. The customers who stop by the establishment grab something to drink and spend some time with the precious critters who live at the café. Many people have a strong liking and desire for caffeine. Some may even go so far as to call it an addiction. While Starbucks is the choice for many when it comes to getting their caffeine fix, others prefer their crème, caffeine and sugar to have a more local taste. For those who live in St. Augustine, Florida, there can only be one place to pick up their drink of choice. “Capybara is the world’s largest rodent,” one of the café’s employees said. “They are native to South America. Basically, you can think about a guinea pig that got to be 100, 150 pounds.”

Enter Bitsy. She’s the tiniest little pony with a heart the size of the wide-open prairie—and a baby whinny so unexpectedly adorable, it's healing people in comment sections.

Bitsy is a soft chestnut brown with a snowy white patch on her forehead, like she was kissed there by the gentlest brush of heaven. Cats, while cute and cuddly, are some of the planet's most stubborn and hardheaded creatures. She said George can be a little demanding regarding his need for attention.

"And he would come at random hours of the night," she said. "Sometimes it does get a little out of hand. We've even caught him on our doorbell at, like, 5 o'clock in the morning."

A woman and her team of miniature horses work to lift spirits in hospitals. They visit patients in medical facilities to spread joy and happiness to those in the hospital. Hospital visits are not, for the most part, joyful, celebratory outings. They usually begin because someone is sick or in pain and seeks to diagnose and then correct the issue. Because hospitals are for those who are sick and need medical attention, they are obviously not the most upbeat, lively and happening places in the world. They are usually very much the opposite, which is why one woman and her team of mini horses visit hospital patients. She and her adorable, four-legged friends work to comfort, lift their spirits and put smiles on their faces.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Victoria Nodiff-Netanel, the founder of the nonprofit Mini-Therapy Horses, and her team of miniature horses are spotted interacting with hospital patients and staff. The precious animals perform tricks and offer comfort, with one of the horses even playing the keyboard with its face.

“The tricks are really tools for the horses to connect with people, but it’s fun,” Victoria said.

As Victoria explains, her mission originally started with her visiting a veterans hospital to bring comfort and joy to those who had served in the military.

“My dad was a vet, and I just thought, I’d really like to help veterans,” she added.

Animals possess much more intelligence than many would care to admit. Instead of believing that they act on intelligence, many individuals would like to argue that it's instinct or some other ingrained behavior. Similarly, animals are also emotionally intelligent. They know how to read a room and can feel and pick up on how someone is doing emotionally and mentally. How often have you seen an animal cuddle up and attempt to soothe someone frightened, highly agitated or feeling uneasy? That's the entire reason why animals are so often brought to places like hospitals and nursing homes: for their ability to feel and detect emotions and provide comfort and solace.

As the pup keeps a close eye on the doorway, a black and white cat continuously rubs its face on the dog’s face. At first glance, this is a sweet sight of two buddies hanging out together, but there is much more to this scene, which makes it considerably more heartwarming and might even bring a tear to your eye.

Text in the video explains that the cat, who is typically skittish, is attempting to comfort and soothe the dog, who has become frightened by the loud, booming fireworks. The cat sensed that the canine was fearful and frightened and was doing what it could to calm the pup. How adorable is that?

A clip posted on YouTube tells how one cat found himself a home amongst several law enforcement officers.

Donut, a full-grown grey and creme-colored cat, visited a police station several times daily, often walking right into the station.

“About a year ago, Donut just kind of started popping in our back employee entrance area two or three times a day,” one of the officers said. “It seems like he gained a pound or two every day.”

At one point, because the cat made so many frequent trips to the station, Donut’s owners felt the station was the best place for the cat, so Donut resided there, eventually rising in the ranks to become Officer Donut.

The officer said a favorite activity of Donut’s is to jump on top of and into the police vehicles, hoping to get a few snacks from the officers. He also likes helping the officers with their paperwork and has even been known to type out a few words on their reports.

When Officer Donut retires from the force and turns in his badge, a home has already been selected.

What an absolutely adorable officer!  Why doesn’t every police force have feline members?

Animals are, without a doubt, some of the best creatures on Earth. However, every pet owner, when asked, will confess that they can be a lot of work, requiring a heavy investment of time, money and effort. While it's perfectly reasonable not to want a pet or be uneasy and unsure about taking in an animal, most people wouldn't know what to do if they didn’t have a dog or a cat. Those cute, four-legged, furry beings quickly find their way into our hearts and become our best friend, like another family member. That was precisely what happened to one man who was initially unsure about having pets.

As the man's wife narrates the video, she explains that her husband, Tim, was unsure about having pets when they first met. Over time, he has dramatically changed his thoughts and feelings about pets, as evidenced by his close bond with Fifi, a beautiful full-grown cat. 

The video shows Tim working in the yard, operating an excavator with Fifi, wearing the most adorable little hat, and sitting on his lap. Fifi is also there whenever Tim mows the lawn and lounges on the couch; as his wife explains, Fifi "follows him everywhere."

"If he goes outside, she sits right by the door and looks outside," she said.

It's safe to say that Tim and Fifi are buddies for life, and no one, not even Tim's wife, will be able to keep these two best friends apart.

Also, as all pet owners, past or present, know, every animal is different. They all have their own personality, quirks and habits. Like people, no two animals are the same. A clip posted on YouTube proves this to be 100 percent true. That’s because the pup immediately falls asleep whenever it becomes too excited. The dog has narcolepsy.

In the video, Dozer is shown in many different situations and scenarios in which its involuntary response is to fall asleep. A woman offers the pup a bite of chicken. The dog jumps at this opportunity for a delicious snack, but before the tasty morsel of food hits its mouth, Dozer is off to dreamland.

“He falls asleep if he gets a really good treat, if he gets a delicious bowl of food, when he meets a new person,” the woman narrating the video says. “Any exciting, new thing makes him basically fall asleep.”

Later in the video, Dozer even falls asleep mid-meal, with its head resting in its food bowl.

If you were wondering if Dozer suffers because of his narcolepsy, have no fear. The woman in the video mentions it’s simply just something that makes this beautiful pup unique. It’s “ultimately a painless, harmless condition for him.”

A delivery driver shared an adorable moment with a friendly pup. The young man unexpectedly took some time out of his busy work schedule to have a sweet, special and fun moment with a canine desperately looking for attention. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to see what the delivery driver did and how the dog responded.

Aren’t animals great? You’d be hard pressed to name any being more loving, friendly and loyal than one of those cute, furry, four-legged creatures. Regardless of the type of day you’ve had or what you’ve done, those critters will always be waiting by the door as you walk in at night.

When you walk through the door, they are always a bundle of energy and always thrilled to no end to see you again. They simply hope that you’ll give them even the smallest amount of attention, and doing so will make them feel incredible and deeply loved. A clip posted on YouTube captured a moment when a delivery driver did this for one pup.

The video begins with an unmarked white delivery truck pulling up next to a fence. Seconds after the truck’s arrival, a dog approaches the fence, looking to investigate the situation. Then, after the pup, a man soon walks up to the fence, patiently waiting for a package that is promptly handed to him. The transaction is complete, but the delivery driver is not done yet.

As he hands the package over, the pup joyously bounces up and down. The delivery driver follows the dog’s lead and starts jumping up and down as well. For a few moments, the delivery driver and the dog are jumping simultaneously.  

This sweet moment lasts nearly a minute, as the two share a sweet and unexpected moment of joy. What a heartwarming scene!
