Biblical Marriage Advice for Hard Seasons with Dana Che

Don't forget to grab your free scripture journal at PrayingChristianWomen.com/journal today! Does a marriage fall apart in a single moment of crisis, or does it slowly wear thin in the "long middle"? This week, Dana Che, host of the Rebuilding Us podcast, joins Jaime for an honest conversation on redeeming broken marriages based on her new book, Tried and True: Marriage Advice from 12 Imperfect Biblical Couples. In this episode, Dana shares her powerful personal testimony of marrying at 18, navigating infidelity, and how God transformed their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh. She unpacks the spiritual danger of "hiding" from your spouse—like Adam and Eve—and offers practical advice for women who feel spiritually mismatched or disconnected from their husbands. Dana also tackles the controversial stance that children should not come first in the family hierarchy, explaining why prioritizing the marriage covenant is actually the best gift you can give your kids to prevent "gray divorce." You’ll walk away with a fresh perspective on how to pray for your husband rather than against him to control outcomes, and how to trust Jesus as the Mediator when you feel too weary to pray. Visit danache.com to connect with Dana and pick up a copy of her new book at triedandtruemarriagebook.com. Tried and True explores the real-life struggles of biblical figures to help you navigate the "long middle" of marriage and reconnect spiritually. Job Holds On to Hope | Job 15–31 Explained

When suffering doesn’t end quickly and answers seem far away, faith is truly tested. In Job 15– 31, Job’s friends return with sharper accusations, claiming he must have sinned to deserve such pain. Yet, in the midst of their false judgments, Job holds on to a flicker of hope — “I know that my Redeemer lives.”

John Crist on The Correct and Grateful Way to Look at Aging

John Crist shared his thoughts on the right and grateful way to view aging. The popular funnyman had some insightful words on getting older. Watch the short, but powerful and moving clip to hear what John had to say about the proper way to view the aging process.

Time is something that no one can or will ever be able to stop. It constantly marches forward, going into the future and not stopping or waiting for anyone. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, no matter how much we ignore or despise our birthdays, aging is a consistent and constant process as well. Even though beauty may promise otherwise, there is no way to stop, reverse or slow down the aging process. Human beings get older, and that is a fact of life.

Even though getting older is a fact, many still struggle with it. They may lie about their age or refuse to acknowledge their birthdays, but that doesn’t really change anything. So, instead of avoiding and lying about getting older, why not do something else about it? Why not be grateful for getting older, and perhaps even celebrate aging?

In a clip posted on YouTube, John shared the right way to confront aging. Simply be thankful for another day of life and make the most of it. We are not promised tomorrow. Thank the Lord for giving us another day of life when He did not have to do that at all.

“That’s the right way to look at it,” he said. “If you had to look at it one of the two ways, that’s the way to look at it.”

Later in the clip, John imagined what our lives would be like if we took this approach to getting older.

“What if that was us?” he asked. “What if you could live like that?”

He also added “that’s the way, and “this is the way.”

Proverbs 16:31 “The grey head is a crown of glory, if it is seen in the way of righteousness.”

Why Job Rejected His Friends Answers

Why Do the Faithful Suffer?

We've witnessed the grand narrative of creation, the fall of humanity, and God's relentless pursuit to redeem a people for Himself. Now, we step into a new chapter - the book of Job - that will challenge our understanding of faith, suffering, and the very nature of God Himself.

God will provide for you!! Believe him.

God loves so much that he knows what you need. Don't worry that he is supernatural. Walk by faith and not by sight.

Can a soul truly flourish while carrying the heavy burden of collateral damage? In this devotional on Psalm 52, we confront one of the darkest moments in David’s life—the massacre at Nob. You Won’t Believe the Hilarious Way This Man Shared His Faith at Starbucks

You won’t believe the hilarious way this man shared his faith at a Starbucks. He used humor to make a very salient and crucial point about the Lord. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see what he did that will have you laughing and nodding your head in agreement.

After repenting of one’s sins and accepting the Lord’s love and forgiveness, that is not the end, not even close. Christians do not get to just sit back and relax, and as The Eagles sang, take it easy. No, Christians, get a job, an all-important assignment.

Christians are called to become fishers of men. We are to go out into the world and spread the good news, share the Gospel with others. We’re supposed to witness and tell others what Christ has done in our lives, and what He is capable of doing in their lives, too.

However, that is a task that is easier said than done. It can be challenging to bring Christ without knowing how someone will react. In a clip posted on YouTube, one man took an unexpected and extremely hilarious approach to sharing the message of Jesus Christ. He was in a Starbucks drive-thru when he deployed his unique and humorous method.

When it was time to pay for his items, he held out his Bible, claiming that he had “Bible Pay.” The Starbucks employee didn’t seem phased by the customer’s odd payment method and took it in stride.

“You know what, you know, I shouldn’t have doubted you,” the woman said while applauding the customer’s efforts to use “Bible Pay.”

“You know what?” the man responds. “It’s not about doubting me, things you never doubt God. You know why? ‘Cause Jesus paid it all!”

Near the end of the clip, the employee said that she went and told her fellow employees about his ways. The customer, of course, had a quick and witty response.

“It’s not my way, it’s Yahweh!” he said.

Matthew 4:19 “And he said to them, ‘Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.’”

Tim Allen Opens Up About His Journey Through the Word of God

Tim Allen has opened up about his journey through the Word of God. The popular actor and comedian shared what he has learned while reading through the Bible. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear the actor discuss the Bible, what he learned and which book made the biggest impact on him.

Tim Allen has been one of the biggest names in comedy and all of Hollywood for decades. He first came to most people’s attention back in the 1990s with the beloved sitcom “Home Improvement.” He has since gone on to experience continued success, starring in award-winning blockbuster movies and television programs, including the iconic “Toy Story” film franchise, “The Santa Clause” movies and the shows “Last Man Standing” and “Shifting Gears.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim mentioned that he had taken on a different kind of project, and this one had nothing to do with the movies, TV or being on stage telling jokes. Instead, Tim said that he had begun reading through the Bible. At the time the clip was recorded, he shared that he had recently finished The Old Testament and had just made it into the New Testament.

Tim said that after he first started reading God’s Word, he was surprised to find that his initial thoughts about the Bible were proven incorrect.

“The Bible is not what I thought it was,” he admitted. “There’s very little preachy stuff.”

Later in the clip, he added the advice he received before he started his journey through the Bible, and how he read through it.

“Let the words come to you. Do not look for meaning. It will come to you,” Tim said. “And all of that, all of that has been life-changing.”

In a social media post, Tim gave an update on his progress, noting that he has now read through the Bible.

“Finished the entire Bible it’s been a 13 month word by word page by page no skimming journey,” the actor and comedian wrote. “Humbled, enlightened and amazed at what I read and what I learned. I will rest and meditate on so much. I will begin it again.”

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and full of power, and is sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through and making a division even of the soul and the spirit, the bones and the muscles, and quick to see the thoughts and purposes of the heart.”
