Faith is not supposed to be the means by which we get something from God. Faith is supposed to be the means by which God gets something from us. God wants something from us. He wants our complete and total dependence upon Him. God is pursuing us—not our “needs” or our “wants.”
Our faith was not designed as a means to gain “all these things.” Our faith was designed to gain the presence of God, and all that goes along with His presence.

Cimorelli is a musical group made up of six talented sisters. And these inspirational girls decided to speak out against bullies through their song 'You're Worth It'. And the powerful message of knowing your worth and loving yourself rings true no matter who you are.

These two police officers know that this past year has been tough for police officers. So they decided to film a video in their squad car singing to 'Don't Stop Believing' to encourage their fellow officers. And it is truly wonderful! Prayers for all the men and women risking their lives for the safety of others.

Wow, Meredith Andrews' new album "Deeper" is fantastic. For some reason I am drawn to the songs that are not necessarily "radio-ready" (in my uninformed opinion); I really like the more poignant ones, such as this one, called "Hands That Are Holding Me." Meredith co-wrote the song. What a jewel of a song. Also, the instrumentation is very nice, kudos for that, too.

Tristan McIntosh has impressed us from the start of her American Idol journey. And tonight, she's taking it country for a beautiful rendition of 'Go Rest High On That Mountain' made famous by Vince Gill. This is amazing!

Cowboy Chad Prather finally decided to break his silence on the presidential election. And I've got to say what he said about us needing to pray for our Nation is even more true during an election than it usually is! And who else chuckled when he said 'Pootyhead'?

Mereith Andews' new album "Deeper" was released last week. There are lots of good songs on the album. "Soar" has been out for a while; I already made a video for that one. And I've made a video for the title song, too. But I think my favorite song on the album is this one, called "Take Me Back."

I heard this song on KEWE radio while visiting Maui a few weeks ago. The artist is Carolyn Vargas, who recorded this song in 1997 on the label Swan Productions of Hawaii. Lovely song. I decided to make this video to go with it. So pretty. Such a blessing to God.
