Farming and working the land are among the most important jobs. How could it not be? Have you ever stopped to think about how critical the farmer and their work are? If not for the farmer and their yield, civilization would come to an end. It’s rather difficult to survive without food.

However, while farming is of the utmost importance, it’s not a profession that someone simply wakes up one morning and decides that they are going to be a farmer. They don’t just head outside and begin planting hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of seeds and crops. Farming requires a particular kind of knowledge and skills. A farmer, through years of experience, understands when to plant, water, when to go easy on the water and when to harvest. Can these skills and know-how be acquired over time? Sure, of course.

But the question still remains: Are there people who are more suited to be farmers? On the flipside, are there individuals who, regardless of how much time and effort they put in, will never be farmers? In a clip posted on YouTube, two young siblings believe that farming is not something everyone can do. They seem to think that some individuals are just natural farmers, while others are just not.

The boys’ mother asked them whether, if she were to quit her job and head out into the field, would she be able to be a farmer. Hilariously enough, they were completely honest with her, telling her they didn’t think she had what it takes.

“I don’t think that would work out well,” the older boy said. “You got to be a special person to know how to drive a tractor.”

The little one was of the same mind, believing that his mother was not suited for the full-time farmer life.

James 5:7 “Go on waiting calmly, my brothers, till the coming of the Lord, like the farmer waiting for the good fruit of the earth till the early and late rains have come.”

This might be the cutest (and funniest) traffic stop ever. You will have a difficult time catching your breath because you’ll be laughing so hard at the unexpected move from one of the two suspects. Driving, as you’ve no doubt heard many times before, is a privilege and not a right. Our Founding Fathers failed to include the right to operate a motor vehicle in the Bill of Rights when creating the country. That oversight on their part may have had something to do with the car not yet having been invented. You can’t get them all right.

Regardless, driving, while not a right, is still a form of freedom. Is there anything better than cruising down the open road with the windows down as the wind whips through your hair? You can go here, there, basically anywhere your heart desires and your wallet can afford. That is, until you see, in your rearview mirror, the image that makes every driver’s stomach instantly sink: those red and blue flashing lights. You’re being pulled over and will most certainly receive a ticket.

Those interactions are never enjoyable and can actually be quite expensive. However, a clip posted on YouTube shows they can also be rather hysterical, laugh-out-loud funny, even.

In the video, two young men are in their miniature, plastic, battery-powered Jeep. They are out enjoying the open road when things quickly take a turn for the worse. A police officer, with their lights on, pulls up behind the vehicle. This is not good, but as any good motorist would, the vehicle pulls over to the side of the road. But that is not where things end.

The driver of the vehicle, seeing who has just pulled up behind them, decides to get out and make a run for it. He’s not sticking around to see how much this ticket is going to be. Maybe he didn’t have the money, had priors or had a warrant out for his arrest.

A simple question led to a laugh-out-loud response. The little boy was asked an easy, straightforward question about his baby sister, and no one expected his hilarious response. Every parent wants their children to get along with one another. While peace and harmony among siblings is the goal or dream, it’s very rarely, if ever, achieved, especially when the siblings are children. As every parent knows, there’s always something to argue and fight about when it comes to siblings. Why did they get this or that? It’s my turn to play with that toy! She won’t stop touching me! Mom, he’s looking at me! See, parenting is a lot of fun at times!

While these loud, agitated and argumentative states are, more or less, the norm when it comes to siblings, there are brief respites. There are special, infrequent moments when they are not fighting with one another. For instance, when all the children have gone down for their naps at the same time, or when one of them is still in the infancy stage.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man is seen holding his baby sister. The two siblings are not yelling and screaming at one another or arguing about whose turn it is to play with a particular toy, mainly because one of them cannot yet speak. But parents have to take the wins and the harmonious state between siblings whenever and wherever they can.

The child is then asked about how he feels about his little sister.

“What do you think of her?” the woman behind the camera asks the little guy. “Is she cute?”

“Yeah,” he innocently says.

He’s asked another question, and no one saw this reply coming.

“Do you love her?” the woman asks.

“I want Happy Meal,” the child says.

Who could blame him? Sometimes we all just want a Happy Meal.

This little guy went down the slide in slow motion, and it’s absolutely hysterical. It’s clear, given how slowly he proceeded down the piece of playground equipment, that he did not enjoy his time on the slide. Getting outside and spending time in the great outdoors, basking in the sunshine, is something every youngster does. Now, there are all kinds of possibilities for children to play outside. Some may have fun with sidewalk chalk, the jump rope, swimming or playing with the neighborhood kids in a friendly game of tag or even baseball. It really doesn’t matter what they do, as long as they get away from those screens for a few hours.

Some may even prefer spending time on the playground, which is a common activity for every child. Who didn’t enjoy the playground as a child? There wasn’t anything better than climbing around on the monkey bars or reaching new heights on the swings and then catapulting yourself through the air as you let go whenever reaching a desired height.

Others may have been more partial to the good, old-fashioned slide, which is, without a doubt, a beloved classic.  However, a hilarious clip shows that not everyone is a fan of the slide.

In the video, the young man is captured traveling down the slide, but not at breakneck speed, or really with much speed at all. In fact, he is barely moving, making for a comical sight as the little guy does his best to keep his movement down the plastic playground equipment to a minimum.

He is not going any faster than is absolutely necessary, as gravity is barely able to get him back down to the ground. Two people behind the camera are unable to keep it together, laughing deliriously as the child travels the length of the slide in what is basically slow motion.

A little girl put her own spin on Creed’s “One Last Breath.” The youngster gave a cover performance, singing the beloved rock song from the early 2000s, and she did so in a most unusual way. Today, covers are a dime a dozen. If you thought, for whatever reason, that covers were going out of style and that they were an old, out-of-fashion tradition, you’d be badly mistaken. If anything, covers are more plentiful today than they have been in quite some time.

Musical covers are heard literally everywhere – Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and anywhere else music can be streamed. Additionally, musical covers account for 99.9 percent of what is heard on popular shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent. There are also thousands of videos on YouTube in which covers are performed. There’s no getting away from them.

While all of that is true, sadly, most covers are nothing more than carbon copies of the original. Who wants to hear a duplicate of the original song? If that is the case, everyone would be much better off listening to the original because it will, nine times out of 10, be better.

However, one young woman has hilariously found a way to make her cover stand out from many others. It doesn’t even have anything to do with how she sounds, but what she’s doing while performing. The child spins at a dizzying rate of speed as she belts out Creed’s “One Last Breath” in a video posted on social media. How she’s able to remain focused on the lyrics while going around in circles at a high rate of speed is anybody’s guess.

In a world in which cover after cover sounds the same, this young woman clearly knows how to stand out among the crowd.

This youngster’s hilarious assessment of his trip to the doctor will crack you up. The little guy was completely honest about what happened during his visit to the medical professional. Going to the doctor is never fun. Yes, it’s necessary to see the doctor regularly to make sure everything is functioning as it should. But just because something is an obligation doesn’t make it enjoyable. In fact, most people would say that anything compulsory is, by its very nature, not fun. Think about it: If something were pleasant, would it need to be an obligation? We would simply do it.

Regardless, being knowledgeable about one’s overall health is critical, and, of course, the doctor is the best person to provide that information after a thorough examination and series of tests. Again, that sounds like fun to absolutely no one, especially children. Children, like many people, tend to get a little nervous when they visit the doctor. Who wants to be poked and prodded, and then be required to shell out cash for the experience when insurance refuses to cover it?

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man, who recently saw the doctor, was asked about his time with the medical professional. As all children tend to be, he was entirely forthright and honest in his answers. Additionally, he answered in rapid-fire succession and with a lot of energy, which only made his answers that much funnier.

He answers that, yes, he did see the doctor, and that he very much enjoyed the experience. However, given his answer to a later question, that may not be entirely true.

“What happened at the doctor’s?” the woman behind the camera asks the child.

“I freaked out,” he said.

There’s nothing wrong with that reaction, little guy. No one enjoys going to the doctor.

A tiny restaurant employee hilariously scolds a customer. She must have been having a bad day because she didn't hold anything back, telling the customer exactly how she felt. Watch the short, but hysterical clip to hear this extremely honest young woman share her thoughts with the customer.

Working as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant has to be one of the most stressful and thankless jobs, and there really is no question about it. Anyone who has ever spent any amount of time at all working in a restaurant will completely agree, and rightly so. It would take a special kind of person to work as a waitress or waiter.

Those men and women are the people the customers interact with from the moment they sit down until they walk out the door. Of course, that means that whatever happens during the meal, the customers will speak to the waiter or waitress. You know that the waitstaff in a restaurant gets routinely chewed out by irate customers upset over the state of their quesadilla and waffle fries.  Even though it wasn’t their fault, they will keep their mouth shut and take the undeserved verbal abuse.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a small restaurant worker apparently doesn't believe the old saying that the customer is always right (spoiler alert: they aren’t, and in fact, the customer rarely is right). Instead of simply listening to the customer’s complaints and not responding, this young woman responds, letting the customer know exactly how she feels. She even goes so far as to tell the customer that she purposely let a mishap happen.

The video shows the little lady preparing the customer’s hot dog. It’s sprinkled with salt, and both ketchup and mustard are added to the elongated meat. But when the hot dog is handed to the customer, things go sideways.

The customer drops her hot dog, and the little entrepreneur is not happy. She does not hold back her contempt and even scolds the customer for having butter fingers.

“Ma’am, why did you drop your hot dog?” she asks.

The customer answers, calling it an accident.

The small hot dog vendor says that her dropping the hot dog is “so messed up” and that it was “not a accident.”

Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, do it readily, as to the Lord, and not men.”

The Bible is essentially a guidebook, a blueprint for life. Passages and verses speak to and can be applied to nearly every situation or circumstance we’ll come up against in life. If you have a question about how to handle something in your life, the Bible likely has wisdom and advice on how to proceed.

Now, while the Bible is something Christians should study regularly, some parts are more challenging to grasp than others. That can also be said of the many different translations of the Bible available. Some translations, such as the King James Version, are written in a way that does not reflect how people talk today. Others, like the New International Version and the English Standard Version, are more modern, making them much easier to read.

However, no matter what version of the Bible you prefer, the stories, the lessons, ideas, passages and verses are, by and large, the same. There may be some slight differences here, but nothing too dramatic. That is not the case with one version that a little girl had in her possession.

In the clip posted on social media, the little girl, while “reading” in Genesis, explains how the world was created. Everything she reads starts out as familiar to you and me, but things take a dramatic turn relatively soon. She starts reciting passages that I, and likely no one else, has ever found in the Bible.

The child is then questioned about the veracity and accuracy of what she is reading, and it does not go well for this individual. It actually gets rather painful for them.

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

These kids hit their dad with a barrage of hysterical jokes. The youngsters did not let up, coming up with one hilarious one-liner after another. Watch the short but uproarious clip to hear the little one’s jokes and to see their father’s less-than-pleased reaction.

We could all use more laughter and humor in our lives. Everyday life can often be heartbreaking and painful, with plenty of worries and concerns that lead to immense stress. People are walking around trying to shoulder far too many burdens. While that may be sad, unfortunately, it’s also an all-too-real fact for many people today.

So, anytime there’s an opportunity to inject a little bit of humor into our lives, we should do so. That should be the case, even if the laughs might come at our expense. After all, none of us should take ourselves that seriously. No one wants to be around that kind of person. Someone who can’t take a joke and lighten up just a little bit will find themselves alone rather quickly.

In a clip posted on social media, a father is the butt of a series of jokes. Who are the jokesters roasting Dad? Well, as you might have guessed, the comedians are none other than his children, and their jokes are absolutely hysterical, with one more hilarious than the one before it.

In the video, Dad is driving his little ones to school when the topic of his age comes up, and you can already see where this is going. He gets hit with one hysterical, witty quip about being old.

“Wait, if you and mommy did not have any phones back then and how did you communicate?” the child asks her father.

“Dad used to write letters to Mom,” the other child responds.

“He probably used a fountain pen with a feather, and he probably dipped it in ink,” one of the two children adds.

The jokes just get better. However, the best comes when one child makes a statement about their parents’ dating and who they might have double-dated with back in their younger days.

“Mommy and Daddy went on a double date with Mary and Joseph,” one of the children says.

From the look on his face and the caption at the top of the frame that reads, “I think the kids should walk to school from now on,” I don’t think Dad appreciated all the jokes at his expense.

A toddler hilariously became annoyed when a 2-week-old would not answer this question. The little girl needed an immediate response to this all-important question, but the infant simply refused to answer one way or the other. Is there anything more aggravating and annoying than when you’re being ignored? Apparently, it gets under enough people’s skin that they use it as a retaliatory move to register their anger and discontent toward someone or a situation. Of course, I’m talking about the passive-aggressive silent treatment. It doesn’t matter what you say or ask someone when someone has decided to implement this method; there will be nothing but crickets.

Without question, the silent treatment is rude and agitating, but it’s also extremely effective. Don’t you just get madder and more incensed the longer this method goes on? Sure, you do, but never admit it; that’s how they win. Additionally, by not answering or even refusing to acknowledge someone’s presence, they are, by default, providing an answer. It just may not be the one we were hoping for, which is even more maddening.

She wants to know right now whether her 2-week-old sister wants to be her friend, or if she would rather remain casual acquaintances who just happen to live in the same house. That is what the 2-week-old must decide now.

However, it appears that the toddler must have done something to upset the infant. The 2-week-old uses the silent treatment when she is repeatedly asked the question about the level of friendship she desires and does not answer.

What is that baby’s problem anyway? She acts like she can't even speak and comprehend what is being said to her, yet.

Children, as every parent will no doubt agree, are gifts from the Lord above. There is nothing like raising children and watching them grow and learn. Being a parent, while it can be stressful, tiring and even worrisome, is a blessing, that is for sure.

Arguably, one of the best, most interesting things about being a parent is getting a chance to see the world through their eyes. Children, being so young and innocent, have a much different perspective than you and I. How they see, explain, interpret and process things is also different, wholly unique and can very often make for some belly laughs.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a father recalled a situation in which what his 3-year-old daughter said at first confused him and later left him more than a little concerned. He wondered if his little girl had been unexpectedly violent, causing someone else a fair amount of pain.

“Last night, my 3-year-old goes, ‘I so sorry I punched that man’s nose,’” the father said. “Things you learn right before bed. What? She goes, ‘Yeah, I hit it so hard. I’m so sorry.’”

Now, as any parent would, this father wanted to get to the bottom of what she was talking about and called in reinforcements. The little girl’s older siblings asked a series of questions to help them figure out what the child meant when she claimed to have punched a man in the nose.

Eventually, they all remembered that they had been in an elevator recently. The little girl was talking about hitting a button that looked like a man with a prominent nose. Only a child could see something like that and think it looks like a man’s face.

This youngster had a hysterical reaction to his brother’s controversial tastes. The little guy could not believe that his sibling did not like these two things. We are all uniquely created individuals. God is in the business of forming and creating originals. He does not phone it in by coming up with duplicates and carbon copies. No two people are 100 percent alike. Sure, there may be some similarities here and there, but no one, not even twins, is the same in every single way.

Now, one major way people differ is in the food they like and dislike. Honestly, this may be the most apparent and visible when it comes to differences between people. Our taste buds are not the same, and we won’t all find the same food appetizing or appealing. I mean, if you can believe it or not, some actually enjoy the taste of Brussels sprouts, beets and okra. That is quite startling and frankly baffling, but it is true.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young man learned that his older brother is not a fan of broccoli and ranch. This information was almost too much for him to comprehend. He simply could not understand how someone could not enjoy these two items. What kind of person is his older brother anyway?

“I don’t know why he don’t eat broccoli,” the little guy says. “What in the world? And he don’t like ranch. What in the world?”

Later in the clip, the young man again expressed his utter disbelief.

“What in the world?” he added.

However, despite his younger brother’s dismay, the older child refused to back down. He stated, without equivocation, that neither of those two items was the least bit appetizing.

This substitute teacher’s roll call is a masterpiece of mispronunciation. She said one name after another wrong and did so in the most hilariously funny way possible. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear how this fill-in teacher said these common names so very wrong.

Teaching is a critically important position. Those men and women are working with and touching young lives every single day. What they say, do and how they act in the classroom could have repercussions for years to come. Those educators are forming and shaping the next generation. That is a lot of responsibility, for sure.

On any given day, a teacher has a variety of tasks. Of course, one of the first things a teacher must do is conduct roll call to find out who is present and who is not. It seems only logical to start the day off by taking attendance. Now, taking attendance works much better if the teacher can pronounce the students’ names. When the educator can’t do that, well, students are likely in for a rough day.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a substitute teacher, who is filling in for a fifth-grade class, struggles to pronounce the kids’ names. But don’t worry, she gets corrected each time, loudly, and with plenty of laughs.

Now, of course, she’s doing this on purpose, trying to have some fun with the students as they begin their day. She knows the right way to say “Nichole” and “Solomon.” Who doesn’t want to start the day off with a laugh or two?

Of course, the teacher’s hilarious mispronunciation reminds me of the classic sketch from the Comedy Central show “Key & Peele.” In the skit, a substitute teacher is going through attendance, and as he reads the list of names, each one he says is said more wrong than the one before it. The students correct him, and he grows angrier as they continue to correct his mispronunciations.

James 3:1 “Do not all be teachers, my brothers, because we teachers will be judged more harshly than others.”

These kids helped adults with their problems by offering up some hilarious advice. They may not have entirely understood the problem, but these youngsters were more than willing to share some helpful words of wisdom. Children, as everyone knows, are the most honest and straightforward group of people you’ll ever encounter. If you want an opinion on something, just ask a child. But just be prepared, because it might not be what you want to hear. Also, the odds are that their response won’t be delivered as delicately and tactfully as possible.

But that’s one of the things that’s great about children. They have not developed this filter between their thoughts and the words that come out of their mouths. Children are likely to say anything at just about any time, and often, this can make for some pretty hysterical moments.

They wanted to hear what the kids had to say and how they might fix their present situation. It’s always a good idea to get an outsider’s perspective, even if they may not fully comprehend the problem, right?

The first person asked a young man for dating advice. Specifically, the woman wanted this little guy to tell her exactly where she should look for a potential partner and how she would know if this person is right for her. The child did not hesitate with his answer.

“Maybe you just need to try someone who’s not exactly your type,” he said. “Try to find someone that you’re not really expecting.”

That’s not bad advice at all. But the advice dispensed in the clip goes off the tracks in the most hysterical way pretty quickly. One child tells someone that they really only need about $20K a year.

Everyone, as a child, spent their fair share of time on the playground. Even if you weren’t the biggest fan of the monkey bars or the jungle gym, how else were you going to spend your recess? For most students, it was either having fun on the merry-go-round or the swings or nothing else.

The options were very limited, and no one, regardless of how they felt about the playground, wanted to go back inside and end recess early. Of course, recess, for most children, is easily the best time of their school day, and why not? It’s literally time during the school day when children can go outside, expend some of their excess energy and play. How could that not be anything less than great?

Well, sometimes things do not always go as expected when it comes to playground equipment. While many likely have fond memories of enjoying the swings or the monkey bars, they probably have just as many memories of being injured on that same equipment, and with the scars to go along with it.

Everyone, having used a slide a time or two, understands how a trip down them is supposed to go. Hilariously, this video used our expectations against us as the slide does not play along.

The child reaches the end of the slide and basically comes to a complete stop. He has just enough momentum to send him over the railing.

A little boy had a hilariously unexpected demand while holding a baby. The young man made a comment that likely no one saw coming, and it will keep you laughing long after the video ends. Babies are beautiful, one-of-a-kind gifts from the Lord above, and they should be treated as such. Children are easily the biggest blessing anyone can receive on Earth. Anyone who would or could ever think about arguing otherwise is incredibly wrong.

Now, becoming a parent, as every mother and father can attest, will and does forever change your life in every imaginable way. Adding a little one to the household is an adjustment for everyone, not just mom and dad. Sure, mom and dad are those entrusted with looking after and caring for that child. But siblings will also have to be flexible and make some changes once that newborn baby sister or brother enters the home.

However, seconds later, things take a dramatic turn, and the little guy is no longer in a loving mood. He no longer wants to hold his baby sister and would like someone to remove her from his hands immediately.

“Get me out of here,” he states.

That’s siblings for you, though. One minute, they are being kind and gentle with one another, and the next, they want nothing to do with each other.

Life is not always fun, and is rarely, if ever, fair, as most people learn rather quickly. There will be several instances in which life, for no apparent reason at all, comes along and knocks you down. As painful as that fall may have been, the only thing to do in those times is to dust yourself off, get up and keep going.

If anyone were looking for a cheat code, a recipe for success in life, a good place to start would be with persistence and perseverance. Everyone, no matter what they do or what happens to them, will reach a point where they feel like throwing in the towel. But what has anyone accomplished by giving up? Quitting or refusing to play is not the way to win anything.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one child demonstrated incredible persistence and perseverance in the most hilarious and unexpected way. The little one was hungry and wanted nothing more than a bite of pizza. But the delicious, mouth-watering piece of pizza put up quite a fight, and was not going to make things easy on the child.

Hilariously, the child, in the middle of a grassy field, tried to take a bite of a slice of pizza. This proved to be much more difficult than initially anticipated. The pizza slice flopped back and forth as it managed to avoid the child’s mouth.

However, while we don’t know how this battle ended, I’m guessing the little one, after much effort, eventually came out on top and got that bite of pizza.

You won’t believe the unexpected way this toddler mimicked his mom. In addition to his imitation being thoroughly surprising, it’s also pretty hilarious. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see how this young man emulated his mother and whether his portrayal was accurate or not.

Being a parent is not for the weak or the faint of heart. It’s easily the most challenging thing anyone can do on Earth. Think about it: those mothers and fathers are raising a human being, and none of them come with a set of instructions. It’s more of a learn-on-the-job kind of process, especially when it comes to the first child.

Now, trying to raise a tiny human being is hard enough, but now add the fact that they refuse to listen to anything you say. That can be a tad frustrating, to say the least. But, as all parents know, even when those little ones appear to be disregarding and ignoring everything you say, rest assured that they are listening to and watching everything you do. A hilarious clip posted on social media proves that those little eyes are always watching, paying close attention, even when it doesn’t seem like it.

In the video, a toddler walks through the house, but he’s not moving about normally. Instead, the young man is walking around in a rather strange way; he’s imitating his pregnant mother’s walk. Not only does he copy his mother’s walk, but he also implements a prop by holding a snack in his right hand, which “really drives it home.”

In addition to children keeping a close eye on what their parents say and do, they can also be pretty humbling and put you in your place.

Proverbs 22:6  “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away from it.”

This little guy has a hysterical plan to sneak past naptime. He does not want to go down for a nap at all and has seemingly found a way to avoid doing so. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear the child plead his case for why he would rather stay up and avoid going down for a nap and to see his plan to evade going to sleep.

Staying up for an entire day is a tall task for most children. At some point during the day, they will start to exhibit telltale signs of fatigue. Their eyelids will grow heavy as they struggle to keep awake. They will request to be carried, and their mood will likely worsen significantly. Their previously good mood will have devolved into a rather cranky one.

Of course, every parent has been there and done that many times. Also, moms and dads know the solution to that situation: a nap. But as every parent knows well, many children will fight them tooth and nail, repeatedly insisting they do not want to sleep. The older I’ve gotten, the less and less I understand this bizarre desire to avoid lying down for a nap. Children do not make sense at times.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man refuses to go to sleep. He makes this clear by saying that he does not want to take a nap over and over. Again, why would anyone not want to take a nap during the middle of the day?

Anyway, the little guy, who has no desire to go to sleep for a couple of hours, has come up with what he believes to be the perfect workaround to this whole nap dilemma, which he hilariously demonstrates. He will “tiptoe” past a nap and go into his sister’s room, and his father will not hear him.

I’m not sure how effective his heavy-footed method will be, but it’s still pretty hilarious!

Proverbs 3:24 “When you take your rest, you will have no fear, and on your bed will be sweet to you.”

Something tells me these kids might not be telling the truth. Their mouths say one thing, but all the available evidence points in a very different and opposite direction. Watch this short but hysterical clip to see if you’re able to determine whether these kids are telling the truth or if they are fibbing significantly.

No one wants to be around someone who has a problem telling the truth. Most individuals have a very low opinion of those who lie or present things in a dishonest manner. That’s generally why people have so little time for politicians and lawyers – two areas in which lying is just part of the standard operating procedure.

Essentially, it comes down to trust, and it’s impossible to trust someone who refuses to tell the truth. If you can’t trust someone, you will be constantly questioning and second-guessing that individual, and there is no chance for that relationship. Even simply being associated with a known liar can damage one’s reputation.

So, just tell the truth. That seems like a simple solution. However, as a YouTube clip demonstrates, simple doesn’t always mean easy, especially when telling the truth is likely to result in a negative outcome. These kids tell some whoppers, even when all the evidence clearly shows they aren’t being truthful.

The video begins with a child being questioned about a pen and whether she opened it or not. She contends she did not open the writing utensil, even as ink is all over her face.

Another little girl is asked whether she had gotten into a cake. She states that she stayed away from the cake, pleading her innocence with the cake covering her face.

Another segment shows a little guy who is asked about drinking a cup of coffee. No, he did not take a swig or two of the popular drink, he states. But a few moments later, the evidence literally falls from his mouth.
