No parent wants to miss any of the many steps and milestones in their child's development. Not being there and witnessing them is a moment lost forever. Sure, technology allows us to record and photograph those special moments, but there is no substitute for actually being present for them.

Every mom and dad likely remembers where they were when they first heard their little ones speak. They also undoubtedly can tell you what their first word was, too. The odds are it was either “momma” or “daddy” or some variation on those two critical titles.

Additionally, every parent knows where and when they witnessed their child take their first steps. In a clip posted on social media, one mother went through some hilarious lengths to show her child how to walk forward, and what better way to show the child than to model the activity yourself? That is precisely what the mother did as she showed her 10-month-old daughter how to walk.

While pushing a child’s toy, Mom walks across the front of the living room as the child, who stands in a walker, takes in the scene. As Mom walks across the room, she points to her feet as they move up and down, hoping the child picks up on the movement.

If pointing out the rapid movement of her feet to the child was not enough, Mom goes one step (pun intended) further. She continually states what she’s doing as well. “One foot, two foot, one foot, two foot,” she says.

The child is captivated, unable to take her eyes off Mom’s spirited and hilarious walking demonstration. Soon enough, it’s time for the child to display what she has learned and try to mimic Mom.

There are some singers other performers should just stay away from and not try to cover their songs. It’s not that the general public despises songs from these handful of singers. Instead, it’s because it’s very much the opposite. People absolutely love Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Adele and Aretha Franklin songs. Those tunes are classics, and those women all have one-of-a-generation-type voices.

It's for that reason that you likely hold your breath whenever someone on American Idol or The Voice announces they will be covering a Whitney Houston or a Celine Dion song. That’s a high mark to hit; most people cannot do it. Covering one of their songs is often setting yourself up for failure.

But what if you covered one of their songs without actually singing it? That’s exactly what Ben and Zara did in a short but uproarious clip posted on YouTube.  

In the video, they lip-sync Aretha’s classic “Think.” It’s a fantastic, fun-filled clip in which both use Aretha’s iconic lyrics to great comedic effect. The father and daughter let their personalities shine through as they emphasize the lyrics, using props and facial expressions to do so.

Also, they go through the entire clip without messing up an entire lyric. Amazingly, Ben and Zara sound just like Aretha Franklin. Of course, when you’re not actually singing and just mouthing the words, your accuracy and sound will be eerily similar to the original version.

Like the rest of Ben and Zara’s clips, this is another fun video that deserves to be watched multiple times!

A little one’s less-than-delicate handling of one mom’s Mother’s Day gift is comedy gold. The young man probably could have been a little bit gentler in his approach to his mom’s gift. Watch the short but hilarious clip to see how the young man delivered the Mother’s Day gift to his mom.

Mothers are a special group of people. Those special women deserve a day to be honored and recognized. Truthfully, they should get more than just one day when they are showered with love and appreciation. Moms are loving, gentle, and kind and seem to have an endless supply of patience.

Additionally, as most mothers will likely tell you, having a sense of humor doesn't hurt. This is especially true when dealing with little ones who are likely to say or do anything. Sometimes in life, there are situations when all you can do is step back and laugh. That’s all that one mother could do after her child delivered her Mother’s Day gift.

In the clip posted on social media, the young man enters his mom’s room carrying her “fragile” gift. He hits the package on the doorframe as he walks through the doorway. Mom, who is lying in bed, can only laugh at her youngster.

But that isn’t all.

Once the child enters the room, he says, “Happy Mother’s Day,” and promptly drops the gift on the ground. It makes a horrible sound, like something had just broken and been shattered to pieces. Mom can’t stop laughing even though her son handled a package worse than FedEx.

If there were any worries that Mom had received a broken gift, she put those fears to rest. The text in the middle of the screen mentions that she confirmed that the gift did not break despite her son’s rough delivery method.

A teacher asked her students about the weight of a rainbow, and the answers she received were priceless. The question to the class was part of a joke. Teaching is a good and noble profession. Educators are very important people in the lives of children. Those men and women who work in classrooms help to mold and influence the next generation. She asked the students what they weighed and got some priceless responses.

She got all kinds of answers. One child said, “A lot of gold coins.” Another suggested an ounce, while someone else said, “Nothing.”  One kid went very scientific with his answer, mentioning how tiny it would be considering how much light weighs.

In the end, the answer to the teacher’s joke was cute and one that will probably cause you to roll your eyes as you chuckle to yourself!

Dolly Parton is a Hollywood legend who has been entertaining audiences for decades. She has managed to experience a long successful career. The incredibly talented woman has graced the silver screen and television, showing her acting ability in several roles. But it’s likely her voice and iconic, beloved tunes that have won her legions of dedicated fans.

Dolly is beloved for her acting, singing, and many charitable and philanthropic endeavors. A hilarious but heartwarming clip posted on social media shows just how deep and young Dolly’s fandom goes.

In the video, people line the sidewalk at Dollywood, a theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, which Dolly co-owns, as she rides in a parade down the center of the street. Everyone is having a great time as they wave, shout and jump for joy as she makes her way down the road. It’s a joyous and happy sight, for sure.

However, while everyone is excited to see the Hollywood legend, one little guy is arguably her biggest fan, given his massive and unexpected reaction to seeing Dolly. Once he spots Dolly, he begins screaming, “Oh my God,” repeatedly. He cannot believe she is mere feet away from him.

The little guy has a big enough reaction that he actually catches Dolly’s attention. She leans over in his direction and points and waves at him. She clearly got quite the kick at seeing how the youngster reacted to seeing her. Her simple but sweet acknowledgment of him probably made his day, possibly even his week. That’s sure to be a moment he will remember forever.

The 1970s were a terrific era for music. The bands and musicians who were in their heyday and producing quality and even some of their career-best work in that decade are astounding. You’ll find yourself doubled over with laughter. The little guy gets so into his rendition. Maybe the funniest part of the whole clip is that when he’s done, he’s done. There’s no bow or anything to commemorate or mark the end of his performance. He basically turns away from the camera, essentially ready to walk in the other direction. However, the little man’s passionate performance leaves the guy behind the camera in hysterics.

Birthdays, at least for children, are important milestones. That’s a fact that they will not let you forget either. Children will begin reminding you months before the annual day. It doesn’t matter how old they are turning. Their birthday is a big, big deal. Next to Christmas, their birthday is the next most incredible day of the year.

So, when they tell you their birthday is coming up, even if it’s not for another six months, you better respond with an equal amount of excitement and optimism. When they tell you their birthday is coming up, it’s also best to grab a pen and paper because they are likely to hit you with a laundry list of things they want. Always remember that to children, their birthdays are massive, life-changing events.

A clip posted on YouTube shows that Anne seems to understand the importance of birthdays for children. The clip begins with a quick shot of a child sitting in the stands, holding a sign informing others that it’s her birthday. Well, her sign did what it was intended to do: it caught Anne’s attention.

Later in the clip, Anne, while on stage, said that she spotted the child and her sign and had her team reach out to the little girl and bring her on stage. Next, the child, Hazlyn, gets a birthday surprise that she will not soon forget.

Everyone has been blessed with different skills and gifts. Some people may have one area where they naturally excel while others may have multiple places where they are gifted. Regardless of the skills and talents we’ve been given, they are unique to us. God is in the business of creating individuals, one-of-a-kinds, not replicas or duplicates. Apparently, as one laugh-out-loud video posted on social media shows, this includes members of the animal community.

In the clip, a group of men wearing Minnesota Viking apparel beat on drums also decked out in Viking logos. The guys sound fantastic as they show off their considerable and impressive musical talents, likely right before the Vikings were scheduled to take the field. I’m not sure what else they could add to make them sound any better, could you?

Well, as it turns out they did need some additional help. A duck offers some assistance, lending a hand or, to be more accurate, some feet. Seconds into the video, one man kneels before a drum while he holds a duck. Surprisingly and hilariously, the duck knows precisely what to do. 

The animal swiftly moves its feet up and down, beating on the drum. Astonishingly, the duck finds and then keeps the rhythm with its fellow drummers throughout the clip.

Animals never cease to amaze us; this video is yet another bright, shining example of that. Who would have thought that ducks could ever play the drums?

Kelly Clarkson’s two adorable kids appeared as guests on her show. The Grammy Award-winning singer brought her cute children – a boy and a girl – out for a hilarious and entertaining discussion, much to the amusement of the studio audience.  It’s a favorite because because it’s a song that celebrates freedom and self-expression. Besides, there’s always something we all need to let go of. As moms, we carry these dreams in our hearts long before we ever hold our children in our arms. We dream of firsts and forever moments, of milestones and memories. And this moment with Steph and her daughter is the perfect example of that. It’s a reminder that the best gifts of motherhood aren’t elaborate–they’re found in the every day, pajama and princess dress moments. At the end of the day, these are the moments that matter the most.

Stumbling and falling will always be painful regardless of where or when. That’s why having people in your corner who support and love you is so important. They are quick to lend a hand when we fall and offer an encouraging word when needed. They are also the first to celebrate whenever we win or succeed, just like one dad did for his little girl.

Like humans, no two animals are exactly alike. Yes, some of them, especially those of the same breed, appear to be the same. However, that is only in appearance, on the outside. Any and every pet owner knows and understands how each animal has its own personality, likes, dislikes, tastes and preferences.

One animal may love going outside, while another may hate leaving your house's friendly, temperature-controlled confines. Two cats from the same litter, who, in appearance, look the same, may and likely will react differently to the same situation. One may be more naturally fearful and unsure of new people, while the other one sees everyone it encounters as someone to pet and scratch them.

Eiffy stands in a precious white dress in front of silky curtains while she starts to sing into the microphone. As she begins, she has a great voice. She stays on pitch and knows the lyrics by heart to this famous Elvis song. What is so wonderful is that there is no background music, Eiffy sings completely acapella. This allows her to sing the song the way that she interprets it as a child. She will bring a smile to your face as she emphasizes certain words and holds out certain notes. 

Her ability to memorize and sing at such a young age is very impressive. At only 2-years-old, she has confidence, poise, and great pitch. Eiffy does a cute little dance as she enters the second verse of the beloved song. She almost speaks and sings. When she gets to the bridge you will laugh with delight over her enunciations. She sings out without holding back in her little voice. 

When she is back in the chorus, Eiffy adds some flare with her vocal options. She throws in a few surprise notes for the listener. At the end of the song, she dramatically lifts up her head at the final line of the song. She smiles and says, “Pretty, all done.” This little angel will make your day! She is absolutely adorable and entertaining. Eiffy has a voice that is beautiful and child-like. She is a joy to view. Check out this video for a great time. This dog’s amazing ping-pong skills will leave you in awe. Dogs are long beloved companions because of their affection and their love of playing games. Most dogs love a good game of tug-of-war, playing fetch, and performing tricks to get some tasty treats, but this dog brings the games of playfulness to a whole new level as he plays ping pong. 

Who knew a dog could hold a paddle in its mouth, much less hit the ball or understand the rules of the game? We know dogs can learn all sorts of tricks, but ping-pong is a new one I never imagined. 

Picture this: a fluffy black and white dog with a focus sharper than a hawk, staring down a ping pong ball like it’s the ultimate prize. With sass, focus, and determination, he doesn’t care that he has paws instead of hands as he bounces into action. Who needs a human partner when you have four legs and a heart full of competitive spirit?

What’s even funnier is how this dog seems to take the game so seriously. You can almost see it thinking, “This is it! My chance to shine!” As he whacks the ball across the table, he looks like he’s plotting a career change from fetching sticks to becoming the next champion of ping pong.

He hits the ball back over the net and perks up his ears and whines when the ball becomes a foul. He doesn’t want the foul and attempts to go get the ball that went out of bounds, but his partner gives the command to leave it, which he isn’t a fan of. So he brushes off the foul and focuses on the next round. It is absolutely hilarious.

Talent comes in a variety of ages and can be appreciated by everyone. This 7-year-old’s dance moves are stunning. 

At the start of the video, Jennifer Hudson interviews a little girl who is only seven. She asks how long she has been dancing, and the precious girl shares that she has danced since she was 2 years old. The father chimes in that she began dancing when she was seven months old. The little girl is hysterical. She says that she sat in the baby cart, heard music, and began to dance. The audience laughs at her fun personality. She lets out a precious laugh. 

Jennifer asks the young girl what she likes about dancing. The girl says, “When you dance, you feel freedom, you feel happy, you feel power.” The audience cheers. The father then shares that he and his wife have a dance studio and teach, but what his daughter has is a gift because it is from inside her heart. 

Jennifer asks what her favorite kind of dance is, and the girl shares that in ballet, you have one position, and it is not her favorite. After explaining a few different styles, she explains that she has chosen hip-hop as her preferred dance style. 

The little girl is then given the stage, and she begins to dance. She has such zeal and personality. As the hip-hop music begins, she appears tough and strong. She is precise in her moves, and she wows the crowd. They cheer at her impressive skills. She starts to turn and place her head on the ground, doing a head stand with fun leg moves. Sometimes, she is in slow motion, and then she does a backhand spring. This girl finishes her performance strong. 

Watching this young girl perform at such a high level reminds us that talent comes from God. We cultivate and grow in the skills He has given, but ultimately, He is the giver of every gift.

Solange Kardinaly begins an impressive fashion show for AGT. She starts in a blue outfit that turns into a red dress, soon to hold up a golden fabric that quickly becomes a golden dress. The judges' eyes lift, and they laugh in amazement. Solange takes it to the next level by grabbing a coat hanger with a black dress inside the plastic cover. Suddenly, to the cue of the music, we see the dress appear on her body instead. The crowd goes wild.

Solange walks over to a new moment in her performance where she begins to multiply her money. As she places it in the bag, it begins to rain down from the ceiling. She continues to multiply her money the song “Material Girls” is comically playing in the background. She pulls out a hot pink fabric with black buttons and gets excited about this one. She takes out another hot pink piece with a black bow. She blows on the two pieces, and they become another dress. The judges are so shocked with their mouths open. As she puts the dress in her bag, she covers herself with the bag that opens up empty, revealing that she is now wearing the pink dress. Everyone is absolutely wowed by her performance. 

You notice a beautiful purple dress hanging in a golden frame above her head. She finishes by standing under the framed dress that falls as confetti and she finishes by wearing a sparkly white dress. She smiles and winks at the crowd. All of the judges stand in applause. All of the judges compliment her and tell her that she is the best quick change artist that they have ever seen. All four judges vote yes.

May we be reminded that even though this is an act, we are invited by God to be wowed by His real power. He is worthy of our awe. Amazement is a gift of a feeling.

A hospital had a baby named Johnny Cash and one named June Carter born on the same day to two different families at their facility.

Country music has some of the world's most passionate and committed fans. They will travel for hours to see and hear their favorite musician in concert. But more importantly, say anything, even one negative word about a country music legend, and you’ll likely find yourself in a world of hurt.

Country music fans will likely get fairly upset if you express a negative opinion about Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Tammy Wynette, Waylon Jennings or George Jones. However, despite all those legends, there seems to be one that stands out amongst the rest: Johnny Cash. The Man in Black enjoyed an illustrious career that spanned decades and included dozens of classic and beloved tunes.

A clip posted on YouTube shows that one family must be huge Johnny Cash fans. They found a unique way to honor the “Ring of Fire” singer. They named their child Johnny Cash.  

But that’s not all. 

Whenever someone talks about Johnny Cash, they often include his equally talented musician wife, June Carter Cash. Well, at the same hospital, on the same day baby Johnny Cash was born, a baby named June Carter entered the world to another family. 

Oddly enough, the two families did not know one another before the births.

“This is just crazy. I was very shocked. I was so excited when I found out,” said Sophie, the mother of baby June Carter. 

Nicole, the mother of baby Johnny Cash, said she hopes to stay in touch with Sophie and baby June Carter.

“I’m very excited about staying friends and making opportunities for these guys to spend time together and grow up together,” Nicole said.

The world is funny, and you can never be too sure what will happen!

An elderly couple showed off their moves with a spirited and energetic dance routine to “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

Music in the 1980s covered every spectrum and genre. There was something for every music fan. Whitney Houston, Madonna and Michael Jackson were the big names in pop music, churning out hits that consistently reached the top of the charts. But there were still others, like Phil Collins, The Cars, The Cure, Dire Straits, Daryl Hall and John Oates, who were all doing their thing in the 1980s.

However, as everyone knows, rock music in the 1980s was all about the hair. Van Halen, Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses and Def Leppard all had incredible runs in that decade. But one hairband stood out amongst all the rest: Bon Jovi. 

Bon Jovi had arguably the most significant rock song from the 1980s. It has since become a classic, with one of the most memorable choruses ever. The entire song is so catchy, upbeat and energetic that you can’t help but sing along to “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

In a sweet clip on social media, an elderly couple strutted their stuff to “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Their upbeat and energetic moves in the short video are pure joy.

It’s clear that they are having an absolute ball, and why not? It’s a great song that has withstood the test of time, and they can both still get up and move with little effort and ease.  

According to their Instagram page, the man and woman in the clip are Larry and Connie. Larry is in his late 80s, while Connie is in her early 80s. On their page, you’ll find dozens of videos of Larry and Connie displaying their quick and sure-footed moves to other beloved tunes.
