No two people are the same. God does not make duplicates and replicas, but is, instead, in the business of creating originals and one-of-a-kinds. Sure, some people may look similar, but we are all individuals, uniquely formed and created for specific purposes and roles.

Arguably, nowhere are our uniqueness and individuality more noticeable than in the set of talents and gifts we possess. What you’re skilled at will likely not be the same things that I have a natural aptitude for. Also, some people may be gifted in several areas, while others may be talented in just two or even one. Regardless of the talents we might have, they were given to us for a reason, a purpose, and we are expected to use them as intended.

Not only will she consistently have you doubled over with laughter, struggling to catch your breath after laughing so hard, but she apparently has quite the singing voice. I had no idea that she could sing like that, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, either.

While holding her daughter, the comedian sang a tune that most people will instantly recognize. That’s because the song is “Part of Your World,” which is, of course, from the Disney animated classic film, “The Little Mermaid.”

In addition to Anjelah’s surprisingly beautiful singing voice, this short clip is noteworthy because of the sweet, heartwarming moment captured between mother and daughter. This is likely to be a moment, a memory, that Anjelah will treasure and cherish for quite some time.

A love of comedy and laughter is basically universal. Everybody appreciates humor in one form or another. Also, laughter, much like sharing a meal, brings people together. To share a laugh with someone requires a mutual understanding between the two parties, recognizing and relating to the situation in the joke. Shared laughter may not turn sworn, life-long enemies into best friends, but a joke could be the start of a better, friendlier relationship. It’s rather difficult to hate someone while also laughing with them.

Raising a child is, without a doubt, one of the toughest, most challenging things that anyone can undertake. In fact, many would argue, and I believe rightly so, that it is the hardest thing a human being can do. Oh, also, as every parent knows, there are many instances in which those children will get on your nerves and drive you to the edge of your sanity. Somehow, they all instinctively know what buttons to push as they test boundaries and see how much you’ll let them get away with before putting your foot down. See, doesn’t parenting sound great?

Despite all of that, there are special, tear-jerking moments that make it all worth it – times that you will cherish and treasure forever. A clip posted on YouTube shows one of those moments a mother will hold onto and remember for quite some time.

In the video, three youngsters state they have a massive surprise for their mother that they do not want ruined. They want to unveil it to her at just the right moment, and seconds into the video, that moment has finally arrived. The three little ones have gone through the house and cleaned it for her. Understandably, Mom is incredibly touched and blown away by their sweet and loving efforts. The children aren’t going to have a way to buy her anything, so they did the best they could.

Words are powerful, and anyone who says otherwise is simply wrong, terribly naïve or a little bit of both. What people say to and about one another has the ability to either build someone up or devastate and tear them down. The Bible even advises us to keep a close watch over our mouths, calling the tongue sharper than any double-edged sword. If that’s not powerful, then I’m not sure what would be considered as such.

So, since words possess the ability to encourage, motivate and destroy, crush and demolish, it’s best to always think before speaking. Who would want to be responsible for carelessly or flippantly saying something that shatters someone?  But on the other hand, a simple, direct and kind statement could absolutely mean the world to someone else and propel them forward onto something greater.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a teacher shared how an innocent and entirely unexpected thing a student said about her meant everything to her. The teacher, as she explained, soon became emotional upon hearing what the youngster said.

“So, this teacher brings in these couple kids, and this little girl, just, ‘Hi!’” the teacher said. “And she’s just full of life, and just so cute, and my class is, of course, watching this interaction. And I’m, like, ‘How are you?’ and I’m just talking to this little girl. And one of my students goes, ‘Yo, she’s going to be such a good mom someday.’”

That hit statement hit the teacher right in the heart.

“Like, I don’t think that student knew how much that was, like, ‘Thank you!’” she added. “It was so sweet.”

Disney has marketed and positioned itself for years as the place where dreams come true. Every child wants to visit the place where Mickey and his friends live. The child, who is deaf, uses sign language to ask the character her name. To everyone’s surprise, the character responds by signing her signing, spelling it out for the young man. She then signs to him, asking him his name.

That was a moment that no one could have predicted, and it’s one that everyone will remember for a long time.

Loneliness has to be one of the worst feelings in the world. How awful would it be to believe that no one loves or cares about you? That’s why even small acts of love and kindness can have massive impacts. We can never be sure what someone else is going through. Often, people are going through something, hurting and struggling. And that is why sometimes what we believe is a small, insignificant act can be world-changing for someone else.

What does it take to be kind? Not much time and very little effort. There is a severe shortage of kindness in this world, with everyone seemingly out for themselves and caring not a whit about others' feelings and needs. But what would happen if people were more caring, kind and empathetic? How much better would this world be if people were more selfless and not constantly fixated on self?

It’s hard to tell how much the senior citizen appreciated what that child did because loneliness is a horrible, terrible feeling. Everyone wants to know that someone cares.

A little girl had a powerful and unforgettable response to a group of bullies. It was likely that no one saw what this young woman said, especially those who were tormenting her. Watch the short but moving clip to hear how the youngster reacted to a group of children who were being mean to her.

Children are literal gifts from the good Lord above. Being a parent is, without a doubt, the biggest blessing that anyone can experience on Earth. There is nothing like raising a child, watching them learn, grow and explore. If it were possible, many parents would spend every waking moment with their little ones.

However, that is not feasible because everyone has to make a living, which typically means being away from them for at least 8 hours a day. Also, children, when they become of age, head off to school to acquire knowledge and become educated. So, it’s not really possible to be with our children 24/7.

Now, for those few hours when they are out of our sight and protection, things can and do happen to them. One of them includes running into bullies, who will tease and torment to no end. As we all know, kids can be incredibly mean and cruel, as they all seem to have an ability to find someone’s sensitive, vulnerable areas and then hit them relentlessly, and without mercy.

In a clip posted on social media, a young woman found herself being bullied by a group of girls at school. However, instead of lashing back with violence, the little lady had a perfect and moving response to those belittling her.

She refused to believe the mean and hurtful things those other children were saying to her. She knew they were wrong, and that, despite what the other kids said, she understood it did not matter. What was important was how she and her family felt about her, and what those kids said was going to change that.

Sadly, throughout our lives, relationships will come and go. Some will get stronger while others will get weaker and weaker until they cease to exist. People will be in our lives for a season or two, then leave. Unless they become a true-blue, diehard friend, this is a fact of life. Acquaintances come, and acquaintances go.

Even though a lot of relationships will be here for a time or two and then slowly disintegrate, there are some that will last our entire lives – from childhood until the day we take our final breath. Not even the closest of spouses can say that. Of course, I’m talking about the bonds between siblings. Depending on the age difference, siblings grow up together, experience childhood, those angsty teenage years and reach adulthood at the same time.

After this meeting, her life will never be the same. The person will forever be in her life, likely forming a close, loving bond - the kind that only develops between siblings.

This little one’s adorable struggle to stay awake is pure gold. The youngster was desperately fighting sleep with everything it had, and refused to give in, making for a display that is almost too cute. As all parents know, children need periodic naps throughout the day. They use a lot of energy running around doing this and that, wearing out Mom and Dad, who desperately try to keep up with their little one. Also, sleep is crucial for a child’s growth, which, parents also know, children tend to do rather quickly.

So, while children need a fair amount of sleep, especially during the first couple of years of their lives, they rarely, if ever, want to lie down for a nap. Many children will fight Mom and Dad tooth and nail as they are being put down for a nap. Now, that is a situation that makes no sense to anyone. The majority of the population would love it if someone told them to go to sleep for a couple of hours. Who wouldn’t want that?

Anyway, children typically don't want to take a nap, even if it’s clear they could use one. They can be extremely hard-headed and definite in this particular instance. This hysterical video shows a little one enjoying some time in a jumper. She seems to be having the time of her life, jumping around and enjoying some alone time.

However, out of nowhere, she gets tired. But she refuses to give in and stop playing. She wants to continue jumping and will not let sleep get in the way. The child and sleep go back and forth. 

This ends up being quite a battle, and it’s unclear who wins, but I think everyone can pretty much guess who will eventually come out on top here.

For many people, they can never have enough. Finding satisfaction and contentment is an impossibility. They are constantly striving and working toward something more, something else. If they just get this or that, then they will truly be happy. At that point, they will finally be able to enjoy all that they have acquired. But does that ever really happen? Of course not.

Sadly, those types of people rarely, if ever, stop and just appreciate all the blessings in their lives. Instead, they are always focused on getting more of this and that. That would be an unfortunate and disappointing, not to mention tiring, way to live life. Additionally, no one wants to be around someone who is ungrateful and acts like a spoiled, entitled brat whenever something doesn’t go their way or they don’t get what they want immediately.

That’s why it’s always powerful and moving to see someone who is genuinely grateful for what they’ve been given. A child, who was gifted a bike on her birthday, became emotional. The tears started flowing moments after she laid eyes on her new set of wheels.

In addition to springing a leak from her eyes, the girl rushes up to the woman behind the camera, and the two share a warm, loving embrace. During the hug, she informed the young woman that the bike is “not brand new, but it’s the best I could do.”

Whether the bike was new or not didn’t matter to her at all. She was grateful for what she had been given and for someone who loved her enough to get her a bike. What a beautiful display of gratitude!

As all parents understand all too well, children remain little for only a short period of time. My son and his two friends were playing rock-paper-scissors in the front yard when they saw the garbage truck coming down the street. 'Maybe he’ll want to play with us!' they said, running over to wait for it to arrive. One of the workers smiled and pointed them toward his partner, who happily joined in for a quick game. After a few laughs and a friendly wave goodbye, the kids were all smiles. It completely made their day.

It's been said that a dog is man’s best friend. While this is an extremely popular saying and likely true, I’m sure those who consider themselves cat people would have something to say about that. As we all know, cats can be fickle, temperamental and aloof, while dogs are seemingly right in your face constantly, always waiting to see you come home, and ready to greet you. Cats, on the other hand, will acknowledge your presence when they are good and ready, if that time ever does arrive.

It's abundantly clear from an endless string of news stories, YouTube clips and posts on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok that dogs are loyal to the end. When they become attached to someone, there isn’t anything that a dog wouldn’t do for them, as all dog owners – past and present – know firsthand.
