It was one of those crazy, fast-paced, hurry-up-to-slow-down kind of weeks.

Broadcasting from the National Religious Broadcasters convention at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, I had a surreal experience—almost like every decade of my adult life converged into one moment. Relationships, memories, former chapters, present opportunities—all colliding into one seismic, unforgettable week.

As one of the newest Salem syndicated talk hosts across the country, I was deeply honored, humbled, and grateful to be asked to represent Salem at this important gathering. It meant more than I can probably put into words.

Along the way, I ran into old bosses, longtime colleagues, and friends from every season of my career—Dave Santrella, Bob Butts, folks from Moody Radio, American Family Radio, Christian Talk Radio, and so many others. People from very different walks of life, very different chapters, all somehow gathered in one place at the same time.

It was incredibly surreal.

I also had the chance to spend time with newer friends—like Jarret LeMaster from The Babylon Bee and the good folks at EKKL—relationships that are still growing and deepening.

And in the middle of it all, I managed to carve out a little downtime—slipping out to see Keith and Kristyn Getty, and grabbing dinner with Zach and Maggie White. Those quiet moments of friendship meant more than they probably know.

What encouraged me most was seeing how many people know about our work—how many are advocating for this show in their own communities. We’re hopeful about a potential partnership with Turning Point around their new AI Scripture search tool. My longtime friend Jim Daly even expressed interest in possibly doing a weekly segment focused on strengthening how family issues are covered in the news.

Somewhere between interviews, meetings, ministry partners, and nonstop conversations, I even had the chance to play George Beverly Shea’s organ. A sacred moment in a very full week.

And then—right in the middle of it all—my bride arrived.

That was the highlight.

No contest.

I’m tired. I’m grateful. And I’m home. And I like it that way.

This week, we’ll take you behind the scenes in Nashville—sharing some of the places and moments that made this trip special. We’ll also return to Northern Italy in our Olympic series and explore which regions may shine brightest in the post-Games travel boom.

And there’s exciting news on the TEA Collective front—we are now less than ten days away from the release of their first major album. It’s coming. Fast.

I’ll be on TV this weekend. I’ll be on radio all next week. And we’re always together at ThatKevinShow.com.

Thank you for walking this journey with me.

Safe travels.
