Left-Wing Groups Organizing Student Activists

It has become clear that several left-wing organizations and activists are responsible for organizing the so-called March for Our Lives movement spearheaded by student survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
As Buzzfeed News first reported, what started as a student-run social media campaign quickly turned into one backed by some of the most influential activists in the country.
The backers include Everytown – funded by Michael Bloomberg, Gaby Gifford’s gun control group Giffords, Move On, Planned Parenthood, the Women’s March LA, and Democratic US Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
The groups told BuzzFeed News they are helping the students with logistics, strategy, and planning for next month’s March for Our Lives rally and beyond.
Critics say the left-wing groups have latched on to the students to push their gun-control agenda.
