Music communities are mourning the loss of Brad Arnold, founder, lead singer, and songwriter of 3 Doors Down, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, at the age of 47.

According to a statement shared by the band, Arnold died in his sleep following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his wife Jennifer and family.
