The video was the subject of a recent article in Billboard Magazine, where TobyMac specifically wanted to use the message within this song to comment on the recent racial tension in our society today. Saying that he wanted to create more han just "another pretty music video", TobyMac has been pleased with response to the "Love Broke Through" video. "I am so grateful and excited about the reaction to this video ... I was hoping and praying through the process that it would turn eyes to the King—our only hope."
