Country Music Shania Twain has been selected to play the role of Jeremy Camp’s mother in the upcoming biopic, I Still Believe. From Jeremy's Instagram:
Like I Can Only Imagine, the motion picture based on the life of MercyMe lead singer Bart Millard, I Still Believe will center on the true-life spiritual journey of Jeremy Camp. Industry speculations are that the movie will portray the tragic death of Camp’s first wife, Melissa Lynn Henning-Camp, and the redemption he found through his second wife, Adrienne Camp.
In addition to Twain, Lionsgate and Kingdom Studios have also tapped Britt Robertson, Melissa Roxburgh and Nathan Dean Parsons to the picture’s cast. Directors Jon Erwin and Andrew Erwin have already added Riverdale‘s K.J. Apa as Camp, and Gary Sinise as his father.
The faith-based true-life story is set to hit theaters around March of 2020.
