Nashville, TN - Multi-platinum singer and songwriter Michael W Smith has announced he will headline a sizeable national spring tour on solo piano. Michael W. Smith's "A Night at the Piano: Live In Concert" tour kicks off April 13 and running through May 15, hitting 20 markets such as Minneapolis (Arden Hills), Chicago (Oswego), San Antonio, and Jacksonville, FL.

"I’ve done a lot of tours in my career," Smith recently shared.  "Playing to sold-out arenas with a full band, a choir, and sometimes an entire orchestra, but what I love more than any of that is sitting at a piano where the audience and I can truly connect and have an experience together. I’m excited about this tour and the chance to do just that again.”

During his storied career, he's written and recorded over 36 No. 1 songs, been bestowed with three GRAMMY® Awards and 45 Dove Awards, one American Music Award, was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and has sold more than 15 million albums.  His critically acclaimed studio album A Million Lights and live worship album Surrounded have together become his 30th and 31st Top 10 hits on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart, more than any other solo artist in history.
