In her own faith journey, Mandisa has concluded that we are all a work in progress. She illustrates this ongoing path that the Lord has us on by writing the first single from her album, Out of the Dark. Here is the lyric video of the song, "Unfinished".
With 1 million+ records sold, Mandisa returns with a new album, after spending much of the past few years suffering from depression and wrestling with her faith. She is emerging from the pit of depression with a willingness to be totally transparent and vulnerable about her journey.
In the initial track, she sings, “Not scared to say it; I used to be the one; Preaching it to you; That you could overcome; I still believe it; But it ain’t easy; Cause that world I painted; Where things just all work out; It started changing; And I started having doubts; And it got me so down.”
