Inspired from when she was given "the BEST news", Mandisa shares with us the positive and personal message behind her song, "Good News."

Scripture states, "Blessed are the feet that bring good news."  Mandisa can surely testify to that, as she states in her own words:  “‘Good News’ was inspired by a couple of events that happened in my life a little bit ago. I hope that many of you know that I have been praying for my brother’s salvation for years. I even recorded a song on my Overcomer album called ‘Dear John.’ Well I’m happy to share the news if you have not heard it yet that this happened a little bit ago. I just prayed the prayer of salvation with my brother John and he is a Christian. AHHH!!Do you see how excited I am? That’s the thing about good news. I shout it from the rooftops when I’ve experience something I cannot wait to share with you. How much more should it be for those of us who know what it is to have salvation? How much more should we want those that we love to experience that same joy? That is why we share the good news. That is why we testify and give our praise reports. It’s because we want the world to know about a great God who still does great things.”
