Long-time TobyMac Bandmember-Vocalist Exits

One of the foundational players in TobyMac’s Diverse City Band has announced her departure. On his social media, Toby gave a sentimental and heart-felt farewell to the Nirva Ready, the unassuming yet immensely powerful voice that has contributed so much to the Diverse City sound through the years:
As Amanda and I reflect on my 17 years on the road with @nirvessence (Nirva) our hearts are flooded with memories and emotion. She is the most worship-hearted being I know, the most loyal and dedicated friend and co-laborer one could ever hope for, and a woman that I will ever honor and respect. She will always be our sister, our family.

TobyMac’s social media staff indicated that Nirva will turn her attention to recording and performaing worship music with her husband, Seth. The couple has a single album with Integrity Music, a label typically devoted to praise and worship releases. You can find out more on the couple’s website.
Meanwhile, TobyMac’s Diverse City has a new singer lined up, a very talented girl named Terrian. Look for both her and Hollyn to take on on-stage female roles within the band - perhaps for another 17 years!
