Lauren Daigle's 'You Say' Makes Christian Music History

Talk about a career trajectory! Even as a relative newcomer with only two albums released (really 3, if you count her Christmas album), Lauren Daigle is making Christian music history! Since the 2015 release of her first album, How Can It Be, Lauren has been able to place over a dozen top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart.
On the week of September 29, Daigle’s smash “You Say” has maintained a steady at No. 1 on the Hot Christian Songs chart for a whopping sixty-one weeks! That tenure now ties “You Say” with Hillsong United’s "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)."
If “You Say” stays at that position one more week (and it seems to be on track to do so), it will then become the longest-running leader in the history of the Hot Christian Songs chart.
Forbes magazine hinted briefly that Lauren is now working on her next album. It’s very likely that more history will be made with this artist!
