Lauren Daigle's 'Rescue' Goes Platinum

It's been a turbulent end of year for Lauren Daigle. Her debut world tour had to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 virus. In addition, the singer was pulled from the Dick Clark New Year's Eve special over a social distancing controversy.

But the silver lining for Lauren came Christmas week (Dec 22), when the two-time GRAMMY award winner shared with fans that her single, "Rescue" had earned Platinum certification. Earlier this year, Daigle announced the same certification for her sophomore album, Look Up Child.

Lauren expressed her gratitude for the listener support in the video below. "I was overjoyed with the news, and as we wrap up this year, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude. I’ll carry your stories with me forever," Daigle said.
