Fresh off the success of its No. 1 radio hit, ELEVATION RHYTHM releases its new live album, WASHED, available everywhere today.
"WASHED reflects what we've been seeing God do in the lives of young people," shares Josh Holiday, ELEVATION RHYTHM's creative director and producer. "Every live album is really a time capsule. We're just trying to put in a bottle what God's doing in our youth."
Named after the group's current No. 1 single, "WASHED," the album captures songs that have become declarations of identity, freedom, and new life for a generation pursuing an authentic relationship with Jesus. The title track recently became ELEVATION RHYTHM's first No. 1 across the Billboard Christian Airplay, Christian AC Airplay, Mediabase Christian AC, and Mediabase Christian Audience charts, marking a defining milestone for the collective.
Across its nine live tracks, WASHED features collaborations including Josiah Queen on "AMAZING!," Jonathan Stamper on "TAKEOVER" and "TAKEOVER PT. 2," SEU Worship on "WELCOME HOME," Avery Marillo on the Spanish version of "FATHER'S HOUSE" ("CASA DEL PADRE"), and Lizzie Morgan on the previously released fan favorite "THANK GOD I'M FREE."
"Naming the album WASHED was important because that song became the catalyst for this entire project," Holiday adds.
Recorded live at ELEVATION Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, during the church's weekly youth nights, WASHED reflects the heartbeat of ELEVATION RHYTHM. Rather than capturing one moment in time, the nine-song project documents an entire season of worship, celebrating what God has been doing in the lives of young people week after week. The result is a collection of songs that invites listeners everywhere into the same experience of worship, freedom, and encountering Jesus.
This fall, ELEVATION RHYTHM will bring the songs of WASHED to audiences across the country with the WASHED Tour, a multi-day experience designed to foster community through RHYTHM Run Clubs, Bible studies, and two nights of worship in each city.
