Chris Tomlin Gives Sneak Peek at Fall 2018 Album Release

On the eve of the launch of his Worship in America tour, Chris Tomlin takes advantage of the downtime to put pen to paper and map out some song ideas for an upcoming album. We caught up with Chris as he hashes out new ideas for the upcoming release – coming sometime in fall 2018 (likely in September). Chris gives us some behind-the-scenes insights into what we might expect from the album.
“Before [Worship in America Tour], I’m going to be doing what I love the most; sitting here writing songs and recording them and seeing what makes the next record….
This is always a fun moment of just recording; you have no idea of what’s going to happen, how it’s all going to turn out. What’s it going to be in the end, right? But I always pray that God’s presence touches these songs in a special way and finds their way to give people voice to worship God.”

Chris’ current single, “Resurrection Power” will definitely be on the upcoming album, along with probably 10-12 other songs that will be targeted to the church for the purposes of praise and worship.
