Talk about your happy endings! Singer/songwriter Chris August has had a life turn-around since he had a serious skateboarding accident back in 2012. The accident ended him up in the hospital where he lost almost a day of memories, including any of the accident. Recovery meant the use of prescription pain killers which triggered a road to clinical depression.
God was merciful to Chris and literally cured him of both his need for further meds and his ensuing depression! Chris has been very forthcoming as to what a miracle this was in his life! Since then, he has released his most personal album yet, titled, The Maker as well toured extensively with Big Daddy Weave.
If a miraculous healing, a successful album release, and popular tour schedule wasn't enough, Chris August recently announced on his social media that he was engaged! This is from his Facebook:
"Once upon a time I met the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. After getting to know her I realized her outer appearance didn't even compare to who she was on the inside. Her kindness. Her unselfishness. Most of all, her love for The Lord. Which is why I had to go on and lock it down! She said yes! I love you Katelin!"
We are very happy for Chris and Katelin! As we learn more, we'll pass that on to you.
