Austin French Celebrates Son's Adoption

Austin French (who sings the hit song, "Freedom Hymn") recently shared some wonderful news on his social media...he and his wife Joscelyn have officially adopted a son!
"Say hello to Coleman James Austin French! Today this little squirt officially became a forever French," he wrote on Instagram. "I'm so thankful I get to be his daddy. Happy adoption day Coleman!"
The French family was first introduced to Coleman when Joscelyn's mom served as his foster parent. While Austin and Jo instantly fell in love with the baby, the adoption process dragged on for over a year. During this difficult time, the foster care system told them that they would not be allowed to see the child again. "Fighting for that sweet little baby boy was the hardest thing we have ever walked through and was not a part of my plan, but I wouldn't trade him for anything," Austin said of the whole process.
