Contestants Dazzle with Fleetwood Mac Duet on The Voice

These two Voice Contestants Dazzle with a Fleetwood Mac duet on The Voice. You have just got to see it. They are the duo no one saw coming.

Abigayle Oakley and Julia Golden’s "Rhiannon" is so unexpected and beautiful. Each of the young ladies sings with such style and passion. You can not take your eyes off them when they perform.

All of the judges were excited by their performance, even though they could only pick one favorite from the two.

Judge Kelly Clarkson said, “There were moments that both of you—the reason why you’re here—you both have something really magical with your tone. You both have something really magical about your voices that are very different.”

Stevie Nicks Wrote “Rhiannon” Back in 1974

Stevie Nicks wrote the song in 1974. It’s about an imagined magical being. She wrote it just minutes after reading the book, “Triad: a Novel of the Supernatural.”

Stevie said, “My story was definitely written about a celestial being, I didn’t know who Rhiannon was, exactly, but I knew she was not of this world”

Abigayle Oakley and Julia Golden’s "Rhiannon" doesn’t sound so much like Fleetwood Mac’s, which had a much more rock kind of sound. But each of these Voice contestants makes the song their own. They each bring their own beauty to it. Abigayle brings a deeper, more solemn tone while Julia keeps it a little lighter.

As you listen, you’ll be captivated from the first note of “Rhiannon” to the last. It’s slightly haunting, but also lovely. It is just as intimate as it is powerful. The slightly competitive energy on stage also makes it more interesting to watch. It’s not often you hear two distinct styles coming together to compete and it certainly leaves a lingering impression. These two women are bound for successful music careers.

This 'Edge of Seventeen' Cover Really Rocks

The first few seconds of this cover really rock when you hear the opening chords of “Edge of Seventeen.” It takes you back, doesn’t it?

Released in 1981 by Stevie Nicks from her debut solo album Bella Donna, it’s one of those songs you don’t just hear—you feel. That unmistakable, chugging guitar riff and steady drumbeat became the soundtrack to a generation, and honestly, you could say we were all raised on those chords. The song itself carries depth, too—written in the wake of heartbreaking loss, including the death of her uncle; it holds both grief and grit in every line. It went on to climb to No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has remained one of her most enduring, recognizable songs, even earning a spot on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Just like the white winged dove
Sings a song, sounds like she's singin' "Ooh, ooh, ooh"
Just like the white winged dove
Sings a song, sounds like she's singin' "Ooh, baby, ooh, said, ooh"

The 'Edge of Seventeen' Cover Transports You Back

And now? Now it’s the kind of song that plays and instantly transports you—not to who you were exactly, but to the feeling of being alive in those years. My husband and I can’t help it—we turn it up every single time and sing like we’re back in those carefree days. Of course, our teens and adult kids give us that dramatic eye roll, like here they go again. But let’s be honest… we’ve caught it on a few of their playlists too. Some songs just refuse to fade, no matter how much time passes.

That’s one of the sweetest gifts of this generation—the way music keeps getting passed down, reimagined, and brought back to life. Bands like First to Eleven step in and breathe fresh energy into the songs we’ve loved for decades. And their cover of “Edge of Seventeen”? They absolutely knock it out of the park. It’s got that same driving pulse, that same edge, but with a fresh intensity that pulls you right in. You hear it, and suddenly you’re caught between then and now—between who you were and who you’ve become.

Because maybe that’s what songs like this really do. They remind us that even though the years have changed us, the core of who we are—the girl who sang at the top of her lungs, who felt everything deeply, who believed life was meant to be lived wide open—is still right here. Still singing. Still showing up. Still choosing joy.

So go ahead—turn it up. Ignore the eye rolls. Sing anyway. Because some songs aren’t just music… They're memories, they’re healing, and they’re proof that the best parts of us never really leave.

You've Never Heard This Bee Gees Classic Like This Before

You’ve never heard this Bee Gees classic like this before. This cover of their most beloved tune is, without a doubt, unlike any you have ever heard and are likely ever to hear. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to hear how these vocalists performed “Stayin’ Alive’ in a most unexpected way.

Covers are here, there and, well, just about everywhere. Turn on the TV, flip over to America’s Got Talent, The Voice or American Idol, and you’re bound to hear someone performing a cover. Visit YouTube, and more than likely one of the first couple of videos you’ll encounter will be of a musician doing a cover of an iconic, beloved song. Log in to your Spotify or Apple Music account, and covers are sure to pop up in your personalized mix.

Getting away from covers is no easy task. If that’s your goal, you may try, but you’re likely to waste a lot of energy doing so, and when you think you’ve succeeded, out of nowhere pops a cover. They are everywhere; just be prepared.

People who dislike covers usually do so for one big, completely understandable reason: they're often nothing more than a carbon copy of the original. Do something different, give us something original. Show us what your interpretation of a classic song sounds like. Well, that’s what a group of vocalists provides with their rendition of the Bee Gees’ “Staying Alive.”

In the clip posted on YouTube, they sing the Disco-era tune as if it were a Renaissance madrigal. I’m almost certain that of all the times you may have heard this song, none of them have been done so in this way.

Even if you are not a fan of this version, these vocalists deserve a ton of credit for their efforts. They did something original, thought outside the box and didn’t just perform the same way it has been done for the last 40 years or so.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Stunning Cover of '90s Classic 'You Get What You Give'

There’s something about this stunning cover of the beloved ‘90s classic “You Get What You Give” that feels like a kind of muscle memory for the soul. Before you even realize it, you’re there again—windows down, music loud, heart wide open to a future you couldn’t quite see yet. Back when life felt big and uncertain and full of possibility all at once.

And now? Now you’re standing in your kitchen with dishes in the sink, maybe a grandbaby on your hip or grown kids texting you from places you once prayed they’d go. Your life looks different than it did back then—but that song still finds you, and maybe it finds you right when you need it most.

“You Get What You Give” Lyrics

You've got the music in you, Don't let go
You've got the music in you, One dance left
This world is gonna pull through, Don't give up
You've got a reason to live, Can't forget

Released in 1998 by the New Radicals and written by Gregg Alexander, the song quickly became more than just a hit—it became an anthem. Blending alternative rock and pop with a message about holding onto hope in a world you can’t control, it was written in the key of D major with an easy, driving tempo that somehow still makes your heart lift decades later. And now, when Dwayne Gretzky takes the stage and breathes new life into it, it’s like stepping straight back into the best parts of your story.

And this song? It isn’t just nostalgia—it’s a gentle nudge. A reminder that even now, especially now, you haven’t missed your moment, life is still good even after all these years. There is still joy to chase, still laughter to feel deep in your chest, still dreams tucked quietly in your heart waiting for a little courage to bring them back to life. You are seasoned with wisdom, wrapped in grace, and walking proof that God keeps writing beautiful stories long after we think the chapters should have ended.

So the next time ‘You Get What You Give’ starts playing—whether it’s the original or Dwayne Gretzky’s unforgettable cover—turn it up. Let yourself dance a little in the kitchen. Let yourself remember what it feels like to hope again. Let yourself believe that there is still more ahead of you than behind you. Because you didn’t come this far just to stop now—and maybe, just maybe, this is the season where you don’t just remember who you were… you begin to live like her again.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

This 'Let It Be' Cover Is Unlike Any You've Ever Heard

This “Let It Be” cover is unlike any you’ve ever heard. This particular rendition of The Beatles’ classic is incredibly unique, dramatically different and thoroughly enjoyable. Watch the short but awe-inspiring clip to hear a decidedly fresh and original take on the beloved tune from The Beatles, “Let It Be.”

If asked, most people would likely admit to enjoying covers, at least some of the time. Of course, our enjoyment of covers depends on how well they measure up against the original. If the cover is a total disaster and completely ruins the original, well, no one is going to have fun with that one. But if the cover is done well enough and comparable to the original, we’re more than likely to give our approval.

Another factor in determining how much or little we like a cover is how unique and different it is from the original. If the cover version is nothing more than a carbon copy of the original, then we aren’t going to be into it. We’ll just go listen to the first iteration of the song because it’s going to always be better, especially in those cases.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, vocalists take a very different route with their cover of “Let It Be.” Their rendition of the song known and beloved by many is done in a way that you have never heard before. That’s because it’s done in the style of Renaissance madrigal, a type of musical composition that was popular way back in the 16th and 17th centuries.

So, yeah, it’s pretty different, but it’s also pretty fantastic. How often are you ever going to hear lyrics first performed by Paul McCartney sung in such a manner? Likely never again.

Even if this version of the tune is not your taste, you still have to appreciate the effort and the amount of talent it would take to sing this way. At least, they are doing and trying something different.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Pat Benatar Show-Stopping 'Heartbreaker' and 'Ring of Fire' Performance on American Idol

Pat Benatar put on a show-stopping performance of “Heartbreaker” and “Ring of Fire.” The legendary singer showed that after decades of performing, she clearly still has it, putting on a masterful musical performance. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to hear and see Pat Benatar sing the classics “Heartbreaker” and “Ring of Fire.”

Entertainment is a fickle and ever-changing field, and that’s always been the case. However, today that seems to be even more true than in decades past. Why? Well, most people today possess the attention span of a gnat. Individuals are always searching for the latest and greatest things, something else that will hold their attention for the next five seconds.

So, because of that, tastes and preferences are constantly changing and evolving. What is popular today is likely to be considered passé and out of touch tomorrow. Trying to achieve a successful, long-lasting career in such a climate is, understandably, difficult. People are always looking for something else, and if entertainers can’t keep up, they get overlooked and pushed to the side.

So, when someone is able to carve out a long, successful career in the entertainment field, that’s when you know they are truly talented. In a clip posted on YouTube, one of those very few, select entertainers, Pat Benatar, demonstrated why she remains a force in music.

She took the American Idol stage and owned it, putting on a rocking performance. Likely, surprising to most, her voice sounds as good as ever. She sang a medley that included her own hit “Heartbreaker” and Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.” Those are two songs I never thought would go together, and they blended seamlessly, making for a most enjoyable tune.

This is a performance that you’re likely to play several times to listen to her dazzling vocal performance.

Stunning Rendition of CCR's Classic 'Bad Moon Rising'

This is a completely stunning rendition of CCR's classic “Bad Moon Rising.” It’s got everything you could want in a Creedence Clearwater Revival song cover. Give it a listen by clicking the video below.

Maria Mariadou and Giorgos Keratsopoulos’s "Bad Moon Rising" CCR cover hits the spot. The duo is very multi-talented. Maria’s voice is deep and scratchy, and she sings well while she plays the drums and tambourine. George’s guitar playing, stompbox, and vocal skills are also top-notch.

“Bad Moon Rising” is an edgy song with a lively beat. Even though the lyrics are ominous, you just can’t stop singing them. Some of the lyrics in the "Bad Moon Rising" CCR cover are:

Well, don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise
Don't go around tonight

“I’d come up with the chords and melody,” recalled CCR’s John Fogerty. “And I got the phrase ‘bad moon rising’ from this little book I’d kept song titles in since 1967. I didn’t even know what it meant, I just liked how the words sounded. Then I remembered one of my favourite old movies – a black-and-white 1941 film called The Devil And Daniel Webster, shot in that spooky, film noir way they did back then.”

“It’s a classic tale where the main character, who’s down on his luck, meets the Devil and sells his soul to him. The scene I liked is where there’s a devastating hurricane; furniture, trees, houses, everything’s blowing around,” he explained. “That story and that look really stuck in my mind and they were the germ for the song.”

He did mean for the song to be a kind of warning. The song came out in 1969, a tumultuous time in America. Nevertheless, people loved it, and they still do.

MG Shuffle does a great job of staying true to the original in their cover, and any rock fan will love their performance.

Chilling Rendition of Dolly’s ‘Coat of Many Colors’ Is a Must-Listen

Mike & Marty’s chilling rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors” is a must-listen for any Dolly Parton fan. The brother-sister duo will have you hanging on every lyric. Play the video to listen.

Their YouTube video of their Dolly Parton "Coat of Many Colors" cover opens to a beautiful rural Pennsylvania sunrise before the scene changes to Marty and Mike sitting in a quaint church. Marty gently sings while her brother strums on his guitar. Her voice is so gentle, and she does a beautiful job of telling Dolly’s childhood story through song.

“Coat of Many Colors” is Dolly Parton’s Story

“Coat of Many Colors” tells the story of Dolly’s mom’s thoughtful hand-stitched gift to her—a vibrant coat made of rags. Even though it showed how poor her family was, Dolly was proud of the coat her mother lovingly made for her. Dolly grew up in a one-room cabin in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, in the Appalachian mountains. She had 11 siblings.

Some of the lyrics in the Dolly Parton "Coat of Many Colors" cover are:

As she sewed, she told a story from the Bible she had read
About a coat of many colors Joseph wore and then she said
Perhaps this coat will bring you good luck and happiness
And I just couldn't wait to wear it and momma blessed it with a kiss

Dolly said of her upbringing, "We always made jokes and said we didn't even know we were poor till some smart aleck up and told us. We didn't have any money, but we were rich in things that money doesn't buy. You know, like love and kindness and understanding."

And that’s the whole message of her song, “Coat of Many Colors.” She has a knack for telling stories through song, and Mike and Marty give it a wonderful try in their rendition.

This 'We Got The Beat' Cover Will Have You Singing Along

This impressive 'We Got The Beat' cover will have you singing along in no time. It’s super cool and lively. Play the video to keep up “the beat” with the Dwayne Gretzky band.

This "We Got the Beat" cover is full of energy and fun. The 11-member group is absolutely having a blast as they sing, strum, and dance to The Go-Go’s classic song. The unique old TV intro is a nice touch, too. And there are so many guitars—I can’t count them all.

There is a brief moment where the instruments fall away to make room for a cappella, and it’s a wonderful addition to the complex arrangement.

“We Got the Beat” was written by the Go-Go’s guitarist, Charlotte Caffey, for their album “Beauty and the Beat.”

She said, “The song came to me within five minutes… It was one of those things that just went right through me and came out my hand; I wrote it down, recorded it a little bit, and then brought it into rehearsal a few days later."

The Go-Go’s were the first all-female band to top the U.S. albums chart.

“We Got the Beat” is an Anthem

The Go-Go's bass player, Kathy Valentine, said, "I think of 'We Got The Beat' as an anthem. It's very trance-like, so you combine that trance factor with the beat and the anthem nature and it's very unique."

The Dwayne Gretzky group’s "We Got the Beat" cover is full of The Go-Go’s energy. It is pretty hard not to tap your feet to the song or chime in as you listen. They’ve got a playful style and great coordination that gives the song a fresh new spark. I think the original girl group would agree that they have done a marvelous job with the song. If you find yourself wanting to play it over and over again, I wouldn’t blame you.

Hannah Harper Wows with 'Heads Carolina, Tails California' on American Idol

Hannah Harper wows with our beloved favorite, ‘Heads Carolina, Tails California’ cover on American Idol, and you can’t help but watch the video over and over again!. There are songs that become part of your story, your teenage years. And ‘Heads Carolina, Tails California’ by Jo Dee Messina is one of those songs for so many of us.

Released in January 1996 as her debut single, it quickly climbed into the Top 10 on both the U.S. and Canadian country charts, introducing us to a voice that felt like freedom with a little bit of sass. For us teenagers, it carried that dreamy, toss-a-coin kind of wonder—like life could turn on a dime and take you somewhere wide open and beautiful. And somehow, decades later, it still does.

Baby, what do you say we just get lost?
Leave this one horse town like two rebels without a cause
I've got people in Boston, ain't your daddy still in Des Moines?
We can pack up tomorrow, tonight let's flip a coin

'Heads Carolina, Tails California' Makes Everything Feel Possible

I was barely a freshman in high school when that song came on the radio, and I remember how it made everything feel possible. I’m pretty sure I had her CD tucked somewhere in my room, playing it on repeat like it held all the answers to growing up. Fast forward to now, and I’m listening to that same song as the sun dips low over Nebraska skies, folding laundry, navigating teenage drama, and tossing feed to the chickens—and somehow it still fits. Maybe differently… but just as beautifully.

Heads Carolina, tails California, Somewhere greener, somewhere warmer
Up in the mountains, down by the ocean. Where it don't matter as long as we're goin'
Somewhere together, I've got a quarter, Heads Carolina, tails California

So when Hannah Harper stepped onto the American Idol stage in 2026 and brought this song back to life, you could feel it all over again. The freedom. The joy. The let’s just see where life takes us kind of energy. Oh, Hannah… I don’t think you even knew how much this song meant to a whole generation of women who were once girls with big dreams and open roads in front of them.

And maybe we’re not flipping coins and chasing highways the same way anymore… but we’re still living bravely in the middle of our real lives. Still choosing joy in the everyday. Still remembering who we were—and honoring who we’ve become. Because some songs don’t age… they anchor.

Smash Mouth's 'All Star' Gets Fantastic A Cappella Cover

There are songs that don’t just play in the background—they raise you, and if you were anywhere near a radio in 1999, you remember ‘All Star’ by Smash Mouth like it was yesterday. And if that’s the case, you will love how Smash Mouth’s ‘All Star’ gets a fantastic cover with an a cappella version.

Remember the good old days, the days? Well, this fan favorite was released in 1999 as part of the album Astro Lounge. The song quickly climbed the charts, landing in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming one of the most recognizable anthems of the late ‘90s.

It even found a second life when it was featured in the opening of Shrek in 2001, sealing its place in pop culture history forever. And let’s be honest—those opening lines still hit like a time machine, taking us right back to car rides with the windows down, big dreams ahead of us, and not nearly as many responsibilities waiting at home.

I may not remember where I put my coffee, but the lyrics are embedded in my brain.

Well, the years start comin' and they don't stop comin'
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground runnin'
Didn't make sense not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart, but your head gets dumb

Now here we are—moms who have lived a little, loved a lot, and maybe reheated our coffee more times than we can count—and somehow that same song finds its way back to us through the creative genius of Jared Halley. And oh, it’s not just a cover—it’s a full-blown vocal masterpiece. Jared takes what was already iconic and splits it into sixteen intricate vocal parts, layering each one himself with harmonies, rhythm, and beatboxing that feel almost impossible to pull off. It’s like he took a song we grew up with and gave it a whole new heartbeat, reminding us just how powerful music can be when it’s reimagined with passion and precision.

The Smash Mouth "All Star" A Cappella Cover Hits

And maybe that’s what makes this version hit even deeper now—because back then, “Hey now, you’re an all-star” felt like a promise about who we were going to become. And today? It feels like a quiet, steady reminder of who we are. We’ve lived through things we never saw coming, held families together, found strength we didn’t know we had, and kept going even when life got messy.

So yes, maybe this song ages us a little—but honestly, we had some of the best music. The kind that grows with you, carries you, and shows back up right when you need it most. And if Jared’s version proves anything, it’s that even the songs we thought we knew by heart can still surprise us… just like the women we’ve become.

Now tell me… were you blasting this song in your car too, or was that just me living my best pre-Y2K life?

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”  Galatians 6:9

Middle Aged Dad Jam Band 'Grease' Cover

The Middle Aged Dad Jam Band's "Grease" cover is simply terrific. There are about 11 members, and everyone puts their full energy into the performance. Ken kicks it off with a “Sandy?! What are you doing here?” and some comedic action.

“Grease” is taken from the 1971 stage musical of the same name, set in the 1950s. In 1978, it was made into a movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Some of the song’s lyrics are:

Conventionality belongs to yesterday
There is a chance that we can make it so far
We start believin' now that we can be who we are
Grease is the word

This group doesn’t take itself too seriously, and you can tell that they all have a blast performing together. Performances within a tight group of friends are always fun to watch. It is a joy to see what they come up with for their next video!

Talented Teen Dazzles with 'Old Time Rock and Roll' on The Voice

A talented teen dazzled with a performance of “Old Time Rock and Roll” on The Voice. After his stunning rendition of the Bob Seger classic, he showed he has many musical talents. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to hear the young man perform “Old Time Rock and Roll” and to hear what else he can do musically.

Musicians are a talented group. They have been blessed with the ability to create beautiful, captivating and enchanting sounds that everyone appreciates. Seriously, have you ever met someone who does not enjoy any kind of music? I sincerely hope not, because odds are they would be someone to avoid, likely not a very pleasant person. Not liking music would be similar to not enjoying food.

Those with the gift to create beautiful sounds are often able to do more than one thing musically. They might be able to play multiple instruments, or they may have an excellent singing voice and be a wordsmith, able to write catchy, memorable lyrics with relative ease. Of course, the point is that musicians don’t typically limit themselves to just one thing.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a 13-year-old put on a wonderful show, singing Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll.” His performance was enough to get two of the show’s three judges, with the third judge later stating how he regretted not flipping his chair around for the young musician.

The 13-year-old, as he showed during his short performance, is a natural entertainer, with his ability to get the crowd in his rendition almost immediately. However, singing is not the only talent he possesses. Following his high-energy performance, he informed the judges that he can make some rather unusual, but spot-on noises.

He can play the trumpet without actually playing it, perfectly imitating the instrument with his mouth. Additionally, his beat-boxing skills are unreal, causing all three judges’ jaws to drop at this little guy’s enormous amount of musical talent.

Idol Contestant Stuns with 'The Power of Love' Performance

This Idol contestant stuns with “The Power of Love” performance in one of his most recent performances on American Idol Season 24. Jake Thistle’s got that older kind of style that sounds electric. Play the video to enjoy it from home!

This "The Power of Love" American Idol cover by Jake Thistle absolutely hits the spot. He has the whole rock-and-roll vibe going for him, with his cool guitar and husky voice. He hits every note just the way he should.

“You’re a tremendous player,” country star Brad Paisley told him at his practice performance. “That is so perfectly done. That’s a high song, I mean you always sing higher than you think…. In your case, go for those high ones.”

He added that Jake’s performance looks “effortless,” and he advised him to make it look like performing is a little hard because it’s more interesting to watch.

And Jake completely nails that in his "The Power of Love" American Idol cover. He’s got the facial expressions down and leans into his guitar at just the right moments. The judges and fans were loving his performance.

“The Power of Love” Was Written For Back to the Future

“The Power of Love” was originally sung by Huey Lewis & The News in 1985. It was written for the movie, Back to the Future. Steven Spielberg had asked the band to write a song for the movie.

“Spielberg didn’t give us a brief, and I didn’t know how to write songs for films. But I said we’d send him the next thing we wrote. Which we did,” Lewis recalled

Lewis had very little confidence that the song would work for the movie.

“I knew it was a good song, but I didn’t actually think it was going to work for him because it had nothing to do with the movie, ostensibly,” Lewis said. “It was actually a love song, and Marty McFly had no love interest to speak of. That wasn’t what the movie was about.”

Nonetheless, Spielberg and his team loved it, and now "The Power of Love" is being covered decades later on American Idol, and everyone still loves it.

Thank you, Steven Spielberg!

Madison Moon Knocks Kelly Clarkson Classic Out of The Park

Madison Moon knocks Kelly Clarkson's classic ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’ out of the park. There’s something so refreshing—so quietly brave—about a young woman who decides she’s not here to play it safe. And when Madison Moon stepped into her moment on American Idol, you could feel it before she even sang a note. In her interview, she smiled with that mix of nerves and fire and told the judges she wasn’t holding back—she was here to learn, to grow, to chase this dream with everything she had and leave no regrets behind. And honestly? Isn’t that the very heartbeat of what it means to step into the life God is calling us to?

Taking on this beloved song is no small thing. Those high notes? They’re bold, demanding, and unapologetic—just like the journey of becoming who you’re meant to be. And we got these tender little glimpses behind the scenes—Madison in rehearsal, stretching her voice, reaching for those notes, not quite landing every one of them at first… but refusing to back down.

There was something sacred in that trying. Because growth rarely looks polished—it looks like showing up again and again, even when your voice shakes. I love how she even said she wasn’t going to back down, but give it all she had.

And then Madison Moon stepped onto that stage with her Kelly Clarkson cover. And she didn’t hold back.

But since you've been gone,I can breathe for the first time

I'm so moving on, Yeah, yeah

Thanks to you, Now I get what I want

Since you've been gone

She leaned into the moment and took this 2004 pop favorite and leaned into the risk, into the possibility that maybe—just maybe—this was her time to rise a little higher. And whether every note landed perfectly or not, it almost didn’t matter, because what we witnessed was courage. The kind of courage that says, “I trust what God placed inside of me, and I’m going to use it.”

Friend, that’s the kind of faith that moves mountains.

Because chasing dreams was never meant to be about perfection—it’s about obedience. It’s about taking what He’s given you and saying, “Here I am, Lord… I’m going to try.” It’s about leaving it all on the stage, all in His hands, and knowing that nothing is wasted when you walk boldly with Him.

Madison reminded us of something we all need to hear again: you don’t have to play it safe to be faithful. Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do… is dare to go all in.

This Elton John Cover Earned a 4-Chair Turn

This incredible Elton John cover earned a 4-chair turn on The Voice Australia blind auditions. The singer, Rennie Adams, knows his stuff, no question. Play the video to see if he impresses you, too!

Rennie’s performance is so raw and talented. You can see the judges’ reactions shift from intrigue to complete amazement in just seconds.  When he finally hit that high note, each of the judges’ chairs was spun. In fact, at the end of his performance, the judges were literally fighting over him to get him on their team. I have never seen any Voice judges act so competitively.

“Above anything, you’ve got it, man,” said Judge Kelly Rowland. “You’ve got it. From the moment you opened your mouth, I believed you. I believed that you relived this whole story of Tiny Dancer.”

His “Tiny Dancer” Was Amazing

“...You were really amazing,” she continued. “You’re truly a remarkable talent.”

The Voice four-chair turn performance is so lovely. Some of the lyrics to his cover of Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” are:

Hold me closer, tiny dancer
Count the headlights on the highway
Lay me down in sheets of linen
You had a busy day today

It’s a very unique song written by Elton and Bernie Taupin in 1971. Rennie does just as good a job as Elton when he sings it. The Voice four-chair turn is a simply unforgettable performance.

Rennie has such emotional depth to his singing. He draws you into his music with every lyric and guitar stroke. It’s easy to see why the judges set him apart. He’s a natural, and he has this unassuming charm to him.

He has a unique sincerity that you don’t hear every day. It is almost like you can see through him when he sings. He does not hold anything back. It’s like he lives and breathes the lyrics.

This is the making of a great musician.

Boys' Choir Nails Rendition of Beach Boys' Classic 'God Only Knows'

A boys’ choir nailed their rendition of the Beach Boys’ classic “God Only Knows.” The youngsters’ performance of a song everyone knows, and many love, was simply stunning, as the children displayed mesmerizing, spot-on harmonies. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to listen to this heavenly rendition of the Beach Boys’ tune “God Only Knows.”

Shows like The Voice, American Idol, America’s Got Talent and its British counterpart, Britain’s Got Talent, must continue to pull in sizable audiences, despite having been on television for quite some time. Familiarity does not seem to have diminished many people’s interest in those programs, as they still tune in regularly. That has to be the case, right? They would not remain on television otherwise.

Likely the biggest reasons people still watch those shows are that they enjoy being surprised and also witnessing the magical moments those programs often produce. You know exactly what I mean by this, too. Audiences enjoy being completely captivated by a performance, which often happens when someone displays an otherworldly level of talent. The kind that makes you sit up and take notice, and ask, if that really happened, or if you were imagining it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the judges and the studio audience were treated to one of those special, one-of-a-kind moments when a group of young boys rushed out onto the stage. After a quick back-and-forth with the judges, the music started playing and the performers began singing, and it was fantastic.

The kids demonstrated their eye-popping musical talent and skill, showing that, even at their young age, they are extremely advanced. Their harmonies are on point, so much so that it’s hard to believe that something so beautiful is coming from a group of people so young.

This is a performance that deserves to be watched a few times to appreciate the level of talent on display fully.
