Original music and lyrics by Tony Wilcox, honors the men and women serving our country.<br /><br />This song was written in 2006 after an evening where a group of us from our Bible study went Christmas caroling at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. I was honored to sing for, but also saddened to see so many veterans of our military in the hospital during Christmas. Afterwards, we went to eat with our group and I got the privilege of sitting next to a young man who is the son of a couple in our group.<br /><br />He had just recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq with the U.S. Army. He spoke in great detail of his experiences there and how proud he was to be able to serve his country in that way. That caroling experience and my conversation at dinner with this young service man were the inspiration for the song, "Miss You This Christmas."<br /><br />(c) 2007 Tony Wilcox
