Last Friday, GRAMMY-nominated, award winning artist FORREST FRANK surpised fans by announcing from stage that a new album, CHILD OF GOD II, would be coming May 9 and was available for pre-order. After an incredible response, FRANK took to socials, telling fans that if pre-saves hit 100K, he'd share the full track listing, and in just 5 days, they have exceeded such. The full track listing is below.
Talking about the recording process, FRANK commented, "Hiding in plain sight. rather than make an album, market it for months, and THEN tour it…I wanted to finish an album during tour. I wanted to capture the current heartbeat. I love pushing the boundaries and trying new things…and that’s what this project is. Some songs took months, some years, and others were wrapped a few days ago. Jacob Biz Morris flew out and lived on our bus for a few days to mix it and PERA and I put in hundreds of hours on FaceTime. It honestly didn’t make ANY sense or seem possible, but we walked by faith & miraculously it all came together. I feel like this record captures where we are as a community in real time & it feels SO special. praying God uses it to lead many to Jesus!!"
