Southside Baptist Church Sunday, April 5, 2015 - Easter Service Ephesians 1:3-8, 2 Samuel 9:1-13
Summary: As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter, we look at the life of Mephibosheth. By looking at his life, we gain a glimpse of just how amazing the gift of new life is, that we find in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
John 20:1-31 1. Believe in the virgin birth. 2. Yeshua is the Son of God 3. We must believe in the Resurrection 4. Christ Jesus is going to return, He is coming back again.
The resurrection: is not what some call "Karma" ...what goes around comes around or When you die you become one with the earth. Some people believe that when you die you come back as a Spirit; to haunt the living. But in the Bible it says you go either to heaven or hell. Those "ghost" that people believe they are seeing are demons.
Muslims speak about the man when the die for jihad they receive 70 virgins with no mention of what will happen to the woman.
Jews believe we all will be going to heaven because we are all saved.
Why should we believe in the resurrection: Christ spoke about it. In heaven there is no immorality. The only reason you get married is to have sex. Mary Magdalene thought that somebody stole Jesus's body, but the we know that the body was not stolen because the linens that he was wearing was neatly in the cave. The world is a liar and God is the truth...
Jesus showed us that HE is the way the truth and the light. He gives us the promise of a resurrection, believers will rise again. Your life will continue in Christ Jesus...our true protection is in Christ Jesus.
John 20:1-9 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 1 Corinthians 7:27 Revelation 21:27 Daniel 12:2 Isaiah 26:19 Matthew 15:11 Hosea 13:14 Job 14:14 1 Corinthians 15:3-8
The Daily Pulse (Monday, April 6, 2015): His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3 (NIV)
The Daily Pulse (Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015): ... "He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him."... Matthew 28:1-10 (NIV)
The Daily Pulse (Saturday, April 4, 2015): ... Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:1-6 (NIV)
The key to the power of God is simple, DO WHAT HE SAYS! This principle is illustrated in the story of the wedding in Cana of Galilee. Wonderful message that challenges Christians to dare to act like Jesus acted, live like Jesus lived, and do like Jesus says to do! In light of the events occurring in Indiana and other states today, it is obvious that Christians do not know how to live anything like Christ, and this is why the church sees so little of the power of God today as it has in days past.
The Daily Pulse (Friday, April 3, 2015): ... When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit... John 19:28-37 (NIV)
The devil constantly looks for our weaknesses, in order to exploit them. When we become aware of these, we can turn them into strengths, and use them against the enemy.

Another scintillating saga from the Word of God, pregnant with principles you can apply today to receive what deliverance and growth you need from God. Naaman came in pieces and went home in peace.
The Daily Pulse (Thursday, April 2, 2015): ... Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins..." Matthew 26:17-30 (NIV)
Southside Baptist Church Sunday, March 29, 2015 - Evening Service Genesis 40
Summary: As we continue looking through the Old Testament history, we come across Joseph in an Egyptian prison. As Joseph waits for God to deliver him, he interprets the dreams of two of his fellow inmates. Looking at Joseph, we realize that life is filled with periods of waiting, and we come to the realization that God uses those periods of waiting for our benefit.
Southside Baptist Church Sunday, March 29, 2015 - Morning Service Matthew 27:11-26
Summary: As we continue to follow Jesus' journey to the cross, we find Jesus on trial before Pilate. As Jesus stands silent as accusations are hurled upon him and even as Barabbas gets released instead of him, we consider the magnificent love of God for His people.
