Summary: As we finish our examination of the 10 Commandments, we take a closer look at our motivations and at the desires of our hearts. As we consider what it means to live in relationship with God, we realize that behavior is more than what we do, but rather it is the expression of our inner hearts desires.

This week we continued to look at the God ordained system for the support of His ministry, tithing. We We are trying to teach this study in a "marathon" fashion, working swiftly through the course of the study. We believe you will find this very uplifting and inspirational, as well as deeply educational. (NOTE: The first half hour -approx- of this video was somehow corrupted and we were unable to fix the problem. The video does not show correctly, however the audio is fine. A powerful and important word from the Lord! You can only be espoused to one, either Christ or the law. Choose carefully! So long as you choose to revive the law, you are espoused to the law. If Christ indeed is arisen and reigning in your life, the law is dead (so leave it that way)!

So, we are using the same outline and Power Point presentation, but we are going to try and teach it this time in a "marathon" fashion, working more swiftly through the course of the study. So, in an effort to present this teaching in a better way, Pastor Charles is re-teaching it. Even if you remember the former study, we believe you will find this go-round far more uplifting and inspirational, as well as deeply educational.

While these Commandments might seem basic and straight-forward, we discover that they are actually far more expansive than we normally realize, and we consider the implications for how we live our lives and how we relate to others.

Summary: As we look at the story of the prophet Samuel receiving his calling from God into the ministry, we find that it is said that Samuel grew in God's presence and listened so intently that not one of God's words touched the ground. As we look at the story of Samuel, we search for how we can have faith and ears to listen for God's voice in our lives.
