In this message, we will examine biblical characters such as Daniel, Joseph, and others who found themselves in "pits." God allowed them to endure dramatic situations that He would show His power. Christians, today, can learn from their examples. Though we may go through dire and drastic situations, we can trust in Christ for deliverance because He is the Lord of the Lifting!

Is there a perfect Church? Many say it is impossible. However, the scriptures reveal there was a perfect Church. Perfection does not mean fault-free, but it means to be complete, whole, and mature. In the Book of Revelation, 1 out of the 7 churches demonstrates what a perfect assembly is like. It was the church of Philadelphia. It was the only church out of the 7 that Christ had no rebuke for. Their example should encourage believers and churches to strive for the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
