John 6: A Response to James White on the Real Presence

There have been many Protestant attempts to turn John 6 into nothing but allegory, even though Jesus is clear in His teaching that we must eat His body and blood, and even defends this teaching strongly. James White has his own detailed go at the chapter, and in some ways comes up with a unique method to claim it as allegory. Here I respond to his interpretation and point out why it goes wrong.

I am a follower of James’ work, by the way. Although I find he makes the same mistake as almost all Protestants in John 6, I appreciate all the Lord accomplishes through him in his ministry.

Correcting Distorted Teachings about Headship in Marriage

I think the title pretty much speaks for itself. This essay seeks to correct the often muddied up or downright false teachings you will hear from many congregations about the husband’s headship.

Must the husband be excellent at communicating his will? Does headship only cover certain decisions? Must a man “earn” his wife’s submission through his awesome behavior? If you want to learn more, just watch the video or read full text of the essay. The link is below.

This essay ALSO takes aim at the greater heart of the problem, which is the fear so many believers have of speaking the plain truth. The Church needs to overcome the PC code it lives by, brothers: The code which would censor and silence any biblical preaching like this. The PC code has got to go.
