Amazing Grace

Message about a slave ship captain named John Newton. Tell the story of Captain Newton, a slave ship captain, hauling slaves to auction off to slave owners.

While at sea Captain Newton encountered a fierce storm and was about to lose his ship and cargo when he cried out to God to save him to have mercy on him and the men and women on his ship, God did just that; he saved Captain Newton and his ship.

You may also have a major storm in your life and need God to save you and your family. Captain Newton repented of his sins, gave up hauling slaves, and wrote the song Amazing Grace.

God's Amazing Grace can save you too.; all you need to do is cry out to Him. He will hear and save you also.

A Prophet in the River

If baptism is the first thing it talks about in the gospel, and the last thing it talks about in the gospel is, "Go ye therefore, teach all nations, baptize," then baptism must be important.

Therefore they cried out to the Lord and said, “We pray, O Lord, please do not let us perish for this man’s life, and do not charge us with innocent blood; for You, O Lord, have done as it pleased You.” 15 So they picked up Jonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging. 16 Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice to the Lord and took vows.

The Way

Would applying the Ten Commandments to daily life change society? What's happened to the values of yesteryear? How has society become so self-centered, disrespectful, and entitled? Is there a better way? Is it possible that we've forgotten our most foundational values?

There is a different path, and this program, "The Way," reveals that journey. This master class will explore the Ten Commandments, what they mean, how they apply, and if they have any significance in the life of a Christian.

The Warning

This will be a master class on Revelation 14. We have seen polarizing politics, increased hate crimes, hunger for power, and the oppression of the poor. Is there a lasting solution to all of these problems? "The Warning" provides a framework for understanding that there is a day of reckoning and you can be safe amid the chaos.

The book of Revelation presents the gospel message as the good news of Jesus' saving grace. That good news also comes in the form of a somber warning that there is an end coming in which the world will be judged. God calls for each of us to be ready.
