How often have I heard a co-worker say, “If I won the lottery, I’m walking away from this rat-race job to spend my days living the good-life on a warm island beach, or a penthouse apartment in a big city.<br />In today’s message, I share a story about someone who held a $10,000,000 dollar lottery ticket who faced this very challenge.<br />How he used his wealth provides us considerable insight to address this week’s challenging Gospel when a young man asks Jesus, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?”.<br />Jesus responded, “Go, sell what you have, give to the poor and you will have treasure in Heaven, then come, follow Me.”<br /><br />I invite everyone to invest 10 short minutes to listen to this story and consider how we might respond to what Jesus would say to us. Of course…, the message is free…., however, our response may be life-changing.
