Pastor Jon Dunber: "Free Indeed"

How often do you see things in magazines or on TV being advertised as “free”, but really they’re not? Only later do you find out that the supposedly free item came with a subscription you’ll have to cancel or an account you’ll have to close or a hidden fee you weren’t expecting to pay. Jesus promises us free forgiveness and full pardon for every sin we’ve ever committed. The Gospel reading shows the natural human response to such an unbelievable promise – skepticism and unbelief. “It can’t be that simple. What’s the catch?” But the Gospel of Jesus has no catch. It comes to us from heaven with no strings attached. Holy Spirit, help me to believe that this marvelous message is true, also for me. Jesus has set me free from my sins. Now I have a place in God’s house forever! Amen.

Big Worship - God Focus

Please was www.jesustattoo.org before the sermon to help you better understand The "why" we should worship Jesus.

Psalms 96 gives us the answer in verse 1-5

1Sing a new song to the Lord;
sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2Sing to Yahweh, praise His name;
proclaim His salvation from day to day.
3Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonderful works among all peoples.
4For the Lord is great and is highly praised;
He is feared above all gods.
5For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.

Our pains are removed because the idols when knocked down and out will make room for use to worship the one and only God!

Pastor Richard Gudgel: "Continue in Prayer"

Our Heavenly Father invites us to wrestle with Him, certainly not because it’s a fair match and also not so that we can be overwhelmed by His strength. The reason God wants us to wrestle with Him – particularly in prayer – is because the wrestling exercises our faith. It tests our spiritual resilience and shows us what we’re able to do and to endure by faith. Wrestling with God is good for us and for our relationship with Him. That’s important for us to remember when the wrestling becomes painful and difficult and we wonder about its purpose. Just know that the whole time you are wrestling with God, you are also in the safest place possible. You are being held in His arms.
