We are called to be the best man, not the groom. It is imperative that we allow Christ Jesus to shine as we fade into the background. An encouraging and inspiring message on the right place for Christians who seek to be the best man!

Taking his sermon from today's Gospel reading, Pastor Dunbar reminds us that God has done a great thing for us in sending his Son, in human form, to be our Savior and that nothing is impossible!

Pastor Dunbar bases today's sermon on the reading from Zephaniah 3: 14-20. As Christians, we need to be reminded to rejoice in our Lord as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and remember that God sent His son to die for us and give us eternal life.

The final video in a 6 part series... A re-examination of the issue of Biblical giving. So much is said and taught on this important issue, and it is very needful that we fully understand what the Word of God teaches on this matter in truth. This week we continued to look at offerings and their purpose and functions - Fellowship Offerings, Freewill Offerings, etc. We We are trying to teach this study in a "marathon" fashion, working swiftly through the course of the study. Peace is a period of harmony between different social groups that is characterized by lack of violence or conflict behaviors, and the freedom from fear of violence.

The ideal of peace can also be conceptualized as the comprehensive implementation of human rights (civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights); this should, among other purposes, ensure the satisfaction of basic human needs, such as positive personal and social identity, sense of control, security, (social) justice, well­being, a safe environment, and access to adequate food and shelter.

Boko Haram promotes a version of Islam which makes it "haram", or forbidden, for Muslims to take part in any political or social activity associated with Western society. a loose translation means "Western education is forbidden".

This includes voting in elections, wearing shirts and trousers or receiving a secular education.

Boko Haram regards the Nigerian state as being run by non­believers, even when the country had a Muslim president ­ and it has extended its military campaign by targeting neighbouring states.

Get me to the hospital! Continuing on the ADVENT theme of pregnancy, in this message we’ll be looking at the urgency of labor, the fullness of time, and the longing and groaning of creation to see all things new!
