In 1977 the Alamogordo (NM) High School choirs were performing some wonderful music under the direction of Don Thorp. When the choirs would travel to compete at regional music festivals, they would also create a program to perform in churches & other venues. That program was called "Sermon In Song." Two talented students; Larry Myles & Debra Greer did a duet for the '77 program - "He Is So Wonderful." On May 5th, Sermon In Song was presented at First Baptist Church in Alamogordo and was broadcast live on Don Woodard's afternoon show on KINN radio. This audio from that broadcast may be the only recording of their duet. As a celebration of the Joy of Easter, we share it with you with images of Easter and new beginnings.
