Paul was a top Fleet Street photographer who eventually became the Photo Editor of the Times newspaper.
But the stress of the job and the lifestyle started to impact his health, marriage and mental state. It got so bad Paul decided to end it all by jumping off Beachy Head cliffs. But before he did.... he said a prayer.... and God responded.
Paul is now a successful landscape photographer who connects with God and worships Him by capturing beautiful images of creation.

This video jam titled "Completely His" comes from a sermon preached by Reverend Dr. Vincent G. Artese "I Am Not Alone". The joy of a disciple is not based on circumstances but on likeness to Christ. As a woman is in labor pains before the death of a child so is the disciple who is having Christ birthed in them. This produces holiness and likeness to Christ. Those who go on by faith through sanctification have a similar “near death” experience. Each believer is brought to sanctification and fullness of joy by continuing on in faith in God. In order for a Christian to experience this they must adapt to God’s standard, consecrate themselves to His sovereignty, and remain completely His. The standard of God is to be like Christ. We must be doers of the Word. Jesus always did what the Father commanded Him. Christ is our teacher and we should do what He says. As a Christian God is the head of my house, Christ is my Lord and Master, I do not listen to the advice of the world, and I live by faith. I press on and Christ will not let go of me. I forget what is behind and reach toward what is ahead. We must walk in a place of thoughtless dependence upon His sovereignty. We must cleanse our minds of doubt. The Lord goes with us and He enables us. Do not let any thought distract you from the sovereignty of God! The fruits of the Spirit are signs of regeneration. May Christ reign upon our hearts and be formed in us. For more information please visit: www.pilgrimspathway.org
I know many people who have a goal of being the best. And I'm just going to say it.. it's a weird goal... mostly because it's very hard to measure, almost impossible to obtain, hard to maintain, and the bulk of people who subscribe to this have to spend a lot of time pretending it's true in a world of social media that constantly reminds them it's not. Why not just have a great life?
Maybe figure out what you think being the best is going to get for you... It's a large world full of talented and beautiful people. Instead of fighting a losing battle, go and live. Enjoy creation, have fun with your loved ones, and do excellent work. smile emoticon
And if when you get to heaven, God lets you know that you did indeed have the best sock collection...props to you, friend wink emoticon
And, on the flip side, if you live in a fairly small social circle where you are the best at "fill in the blank" Are you making an idol of it and are you standing in the way of God's calling on your life? You might be called to be more than the "funny one" or the "artsy one" or the "musical one" or the "sporty one".
This song is from a wonderful CD series called "Scripture Lullabies: Hidden In My Heart." It's a collection of lullaby-style songs based directly on Bible passages. The lyrics are paraphrases of the Bible passages, not a word-for-word translation. But it's fairly ingenious. And the music and style is not just for infants, i.e., it's not sing-songy. Adults will enjoy it, tool Well, I don't need to explain it, just listen to this song.
The song was written by Jay Stocker, and I believe he also plays piano on this song.

I recently discovered a CD series called "Scripture Lullabies : Hidden In My Heart." The songs are paraphrases of Bible passages, done in a lullaby style, but not too sing-songy; adults will find them pleasing, too. The lyrics are not overly simplistic to allow infants to understand them; for example, this song contains the lyric "sheltered from the noise and distraction." A small child probably doesn't know what that means. But we can certainly envision a child yearning that. And that's what makes this concept work. It allows us, as adults, to put ourselves in a child's place, and remember those emotions. And appreciate them.
This song is sung by Rebecca Mizell, written by Jay Stocker. It's based on 1 Kings 19:12.

Imagine being in great distress and crying out to God, only to hear the following response: “Stay calm. I want you to know that I've heard your prayer and have put you on the hearts of several people in your community. Please be patient until someone can get to you. It's just that it's difficult for Me to find somebody that's healthy enough to help you. Most of My people are too sick to help themselves—let alone you.”
Yes, I am free. By God's grace I am free, but I am not without responsibility. Grace relieves me of what I can't do. But His grace does not relieve me of what I can do. And I can do whatever God requires of me in my new covenant with Him.
It is pure deception to believe that we have more freedom outside the confines of God's Word. Our greatest freedom lies in what appears to be the most confined space out there—God's presence.

This is Ben Glover singing. I don't think I've ever heard him sing. He is mainly known for his songwriting he's co-written hundreds of songs. In fact I know that a fair percentage of videos are based on songs co-written by him. But he did not write this one, it was written by Jay Stocker.
