A young man, still wearing his pajamas, hurriedly ran outside early one morning so he could get one more loving embrace in before his dad left to start his workday. 

The world is a sad, lonely, dark and depressing location. Given the amount of hatred, bitterness and hostility that litters social media and is splashed across local television news broadcasts, it can feel like a place entirely devoid of love and kindness. As bad as things may seem at times, all is not lost yet, as the touching and sweet action of a young man clearly shows.

A clip posted on YouTube, shows an 8-year-old, Isaiah Lobdell, rushing outside without shoes and still in his pajamas, a little before 6:30 in the morning. The little guy runs out on the driveway just as his father, in a white GMC pickup truck, is about to pull onto the road and head to work for the day. 

He waves down his father, hoping to get his attention as he yells, “Dad!”

Isaiah’s efforts were successful. 

Dad, as he reaches the end of the driveway, but before pulling onto the road, stops and exits the vehicle. As the father, Tyler Lobdell, gets out of his truck, he is heard asking, “What?”

Tyler continues approaching his son, trying to figure out what exactly Isaiah needs and wants at that moment. Dad stops a few feet from his son as Isaiah holds his arms out for a goodbye hug. Dad crouches down and fulfills his young son’s loving and moving request, giving Isaiah a massive hug as he picks him up off the ground. 

Isaiah said he “wanted one more hug” before his father left.

“These little kids, their love is the biggest thing they have to offer,” Tyler said. “So, to me, when they want a hug, it is a pretty big deal.”

A young woman was absolutely overjoyed when one of her favorite people in the world entered the room: her grandmother. 

Sadly, a fair amount of people believe that acquiring more money and material possessions is the key to achieving happiness in life. If they just had a bigger house, a better car or received a bump in pay at work, all would be good with the world, the thinking goes. Unfortunately, that’s rarely, if ever, the case. 

A clip posted on Instagram shows a person who is over-the-moon happy, and it has nothing to do with money or having a huge house or a fine, expensive car. Instead, the toddler is thrilled to see her grandmother walk into the room. Her cute, moving and heartwarming reaction helps to put into perspective what truly matters in life: family.

As the video begins, the little lady is standing near and holding herself up with a table while someone films the child. But seconds into the clip, the toddler hears a commotion behind her that causes her to turn her head. After recognizing who was the source of the noise, the child completely turns around and heads in that direction.

She turns away from the table and takes two steps toward a piece of furniture. As she does so, the young woman squeals with delight. A massive smile comes over her face. She literally cannot contain her joy at seeing her grandmother. 

The little girl, once again, starts shrieking excitedly, throwing her tiny arms up into the air as she does so. She cannot get to her grandmother fast enough. 

What a sweet, beautiful and loving reaction! The child’s reaction is one that every grandparent and parent would love to get from their precious child every time they enter the room. 

That little girl clearly loves her grandmother, and it shows.

One young woman is developing a love for learning and books as she spends time visiting with and reading to the residents of a Minnesota senior living facility.

Reading and learning should never stop because one leaves the classroom. Everyone should strive to be a lifelong learner, seeking to gain more knowledge and wisdom every day. Books assist in this worthwhile pursuit. They can open entirely new worlds and present new perspectives and ideas that one may not have ever considered or encountered. There is always something more to learn and new to find out and discover. 

Maggie Kuznia, a first grader in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, is learning to read. As a clip posted on YouTube indicates, the young lady spends time reading and sounding out unfamiliar words to the elderly residents of a senior living facility. It’s an activity that most definitely benefits everyone involved. 

Also, as the first grader’s mother, Tiffany Kuznia, who works at the facility, states, it was an initiative that Maggie came up with on her own.

“Well, I guess it all started storm days,” Tiffany said. “She couldn’t go to daycare or anything like that, so she’d come to work with me. Then one day, about five months ago, she was packing up her bag, and I’m like, ‘Well, don’t forget your Nintendo Switch.’”

Tiffany mentioned that Maggie had another plan instead of passing the time by staring at yet another screen. 

“’I’m going to bring books, and I’m going to read to the residents,’” Tiffany recalls Maggie telling her one day. 

The clip shows the young woman walking around, visiting the residents and reading selected literary works to them.

It’s clear from the short clip that the elderly residents greatly appreciate Maggie’s efforts and spending time with the young woman. 

Maggie’s reading has not only been beneficial to the residents but it’s also helped the first grader as well.

“It’s helped it tremendously, and it builds up her confidence of reading, too,” Tiffany said. “She falls asleep every night with a book in her hand.”

A young child desperately needs to hold her newborn baby brother, so much so that she cries if he’s not in her arms.

Siblings, when they are growing up, generally do not get along. As any parent knows, most interactions between young siblings usually end in tears, fighting, yelling and sometimes, even all three. But as those siblings grow, move out of the house, go their own ways and start their own lives, something happens. Those old rivalries and differences melt away. Most end up cherishing those bonds.

One precious video posted on YouTube shows how much a young woman has instantly bonded with her newborn sibling, her baby brother. 

The short clip begins with the toddler lying with her mother in a hospital bed. The child is crying, reaching her arms out toward the camera. The young woman is making it entirely clear that she desires something or someone immediately. 

The man, presumably the wailing child’s father, walks onto the screen as he’s holding an infant. The man then gently places the infant into the arms of the little girl. The young girl instantly ceases all crying. 

She just wanted to hold her baby brother! Text at the beginning of the clip mentions that “she needs to hold her new brother so she can breathe again.”

Once the newborn is placed in the toddler’s arms it’s all smiles – from the little girl and mom who holds both in her arms.

Mom and Dad give the young girl pointers as she takes her little brother in her arms.

“Be sweet, be easy,” Dad tells the little girl.

“So sweet,” Mom says as she gently kisses the top of her young daughter’s head. 

It’s a picture-perfect moment of a happy and blessed family.

One young lady showed off her musical talents when she gave a sweet and touching rendition of a beloved tune about Christ’s love and mercy.

Since the bite of the apple in the garden, the world has been a sad, lonely and dangerous location. It’s inhabited by fallen people living in their sin and shame. But despite all of this, Christ was still sent and nailed to a cross and died, taking our place. He took the sin of the world on Himself. 

Thanks to Christ’s willing but excruciatingly painful death and later resurrection, people can come back to a right relationship with God. Christ’s death bridged that gap and rupture between God and man when sin entered the world. That’s how much Jesus loves and cares for sinners. 

In a video posted on YouTube, one nearly two-year-old child sings about Christ’s unconditional and unending love with “Jesus Loves Me.” While sitting on a couch accompanied by a young man playing the guitar, the young woman gives what is probably the sweetest cover of the classic tune you’ll ever hear.

“Jesus loves me, this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak, but he is strong”

In addition to providing the lead vocal in the video, she also throws in a couple of dance moves. Near the end of the video, before the song comes to an end, she moves her right arm about in a rhythmic motion. 

Several people reacted to the short but sweet performance, commenting on how the duet was “the sweetest thing ever,” “adorable” and “precious.”

Additionally, one person stated how much they appreciated the child’s parents teaching her about Christ’s love at such a young age.

“Praise God for teaching your child the most important truth she needs to know at the early stage of her precious life. God bless you,” one person wrote.

One young man surprisingly and sweetly expressed how he felt about his baby sister soon after meeting her for the first time. 

As any parent knows, sibling rivalries are a real thing. Little children get agitated and throw fits, especially when the situation involves their brother or sister. Siblings, when growing up, will often get into tiffs, which result in screaming and crying. These circumstances occur a lot, so whenever one sibling says something sweet about the other, parents must savor those moments.

That is what happened when a toddler quickly decided how he felt about his new baby sister, surprising everyone in the room. 

In a video posted on YouTube, the young little guy hurriedly runs into the hospital room. It’s clear that he understands something new and exciting is about to happen. 

After he’s put on the ground, the toddler waddles right off to the newborn, pointing at her with a big grin on his face. He’s excited to meet his younger sibling.

But the moment that took everyone by surprise was when the toddler was sitting in his father’s arms, and the little guy got his first, up-close encounter with his little sister. Once he looks into the newborn’s face, he is in awe, overjoyed by the presence of this new person.

He sweetly touches the baby’s nose and cheeks, but then something magical happens. The toddler learns over and while he's looking at the newborn, states, “I love you.”

Everyone in the room responds with a collective “aww.” After that moving moment, many people can be heard sniffing and crying, moved to tears by the little guy’s sweet and loving first words to his baby sister.

That is a moment in time that the mother and father of the two children will cherish for the rest of their lives.

One young man’s hilarious move during his baptism gave his family and the priest conducting the ceremony a story they are unlikely to ever forget.

Children are a precious and wonderful blessing from the Lord. Anyone who has been lucky enough to become a parent understands this for sure. However, raising children in addition to being a blessing, is also a monumental task and responsibility. One of the duties of being a parent includes raising them in the teaching and wisdom of the Lord.

Teaching and raising a child to love and know the Lord often includes a ceremonial baptism. But as one video posted on Instagram shows, everything does not always go according to plan during ceremonies, especially when they involve young children.

In the clip, Candace Williams, a mother of two, stands on the platform with her family as a priest recites from a book of sacraments. Everything seems to be going fine until her 11-month-old son, Sullivan, decides to take matters into his own hands, literally.

The priest is reading from the book when Sullivan, with his right hand, swats down on the book. This causes the priest to drop the book. The priest and several family members quickly rush to grab the book, but their efforts are all in vain.

The book lands right into the baptismal fountain. The clip ends with extreme close-ups of the various family members who look upon in shock and horror as the book lands in the water.

Despite the horrific mishap, the video’s caption states that the priest conducting the ceremony rolled with it and didn’t get too upset. 

While everyone may have been embarrassed and shocked at the time, this is one of those “we’re going to laugh about this later” moments. They will always remember the time when Sullivan knocked the book of the priest’s hands and derailed his baptism.

This video is from a security camera that captures an epic catch from a pint-sized toddler girl. 

When we think of the phrase “play ball,” we think of nostalgic moments of America's beloved pastime of baseball. With legends like Yogi Berra. But he’s got nothing on this little Nebraskan girl. She might be slated for the big leagues. Or maybe it was just pure luck. Either way, the moment is amazing. 

It’s a typical afternoon in the small town of Alliance, Nebraska, where mom and dad are taking a breather on the couch after attempting to keep their two little girls entertained. Mom seems to be waiting for Dad to get off the phone as she mindlessly plays with a strand of her hair. 

The girls are corralled in the living room when their oldest daughter kicks a pink ball up into the air. At that exact moment, the little sister in her footie pajamas rubs the hair on her head when the ball lands directly into her palms. It’s quite the catch because Dad is shocked and tries to get his wife’s attention. He couldn’t believe what he just saw. His jaw drops open, and he is absolutely stunned. 

The older sister giggles and grabs the ball from little sister, and continues to kick it around the living as if nothing major happened. After all, she’s the bigger sister, if anything cool happens, it’s because she’s the one doing it. 

I bet Dad is thankful for this unexpected moment. He was probably thinking his dad days would be filled with pink toys, ballet, and dance. But both of his little girls seem to be into sports. His oldest can kick and the youngest can catch. Who knows, maybe soccer or softball is in his future. This dad is incredibly blessed to have two active, playful, and happy little girls. Prepare to melt as a cat and a baby act like twins in this delightful video. 

Wilbur became the pawfect best friend to his human brother Charlie. Wherever Charlie is, it’s a safe bet Wilbur is right by his side. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunchtime, nap time, or playtime. They are the best of friends. Amanda, Charlie’s mom, truly wonders if Wilbur thinks he’s a baby rather than a cat. 

Wilbur expects to have the last bite of baby food when Charlie is getting his meals. In fact, Wilbur loves baby food so much Amanda had to childproof the house early because Wilbur was raiding the cupboards in search of smashed peas and carrots. 

As if that isn’t enough to make your heart melt, wait until you watch a clip of Wilbur cuddling and napping with an Elmo toy that he claimed for his own. Charlie’s sweet grandmother had gotten a stuffed Elmo for Charlie. But once Wilbur laid paws on the furry character, he claimed it has his own. That’s okay. Charlie doesn’t seem to mind and prefers to play in his bouncer with Wilbur, batting at the toys too. 

Amanda says she couldn’t help but capture the special and precious interactions between Charlie and Wilbur because they seem to have a brotherly dynamic she has never seen before. We know cats love to be around their human family members. 

But I imagine most cats would stray away from babies and toddlers. They tend to be loud, drool, and make a lot of noise. Wilbur not only doesn’t mind it, he follows Charlie everywhere he goes. Although I wonder if Wilbur is willing to get in the tub right along with Charlie during bath time. 

You will love this delightfully sweet and humorous video as you watch the brotherhood unfold between a precious baby boy and a striped orange and white cat. Thank God we’ve been given friends in the form of four legs, fur coats, and whiskers. 

One cute, young wedding party member abandoned her duties when she spotted her grandfather.

Weddings are often emotional occasions as family and friends gather to watch two people in love exchange vows, promising to remain together through thick and thin. But weddings, and the days leading up to them, can be stressful and anxiety-inducing. Even the tiniest, smallest detail gets magnified and can cause a massive headache when it comes to planning a wedding. 

However, one young woman did not let being a member of a wedding party phase her at all. She was completely worry-free when it came time for her role in the wedding. In fact, when it came time for her to walk down the aisle, she found something more important to do.

A clip posted on YouTube shows what happened when a flower girl noticed her grandfather. Instead of making her way up the aisle, she took a detour. 

The video begins with the child being given a slight nudge forward as her cue to head up the aisle. Things go as planned for a few steps until the little girl sees her grandfather, and then she has her sights set on him.

She waddles and grins her way up the aisle. The attendees, understanding that the little girl is headed for her grandfather, let out a few laughs. When she gets just a few wobbly steps from her destination, she gives herself a hand, clapping as she approaches grandpa.

The whole scene is almost too cute! 

Those in attendance also applaud as the little girl gets to her grandfather. He dips down a little, picks the cute little girl up and places her on his lap.

She is exactly where she wants to be. She is safe, secure and happy in the loving arms of her grandfather.

Two teenagers, forever bonded by a stay in a hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit, more than a decade and a half earlier, went to prom together.

Prom is a special time and a big deal for most high school students. It’s an opportunity to dress up, have fun and make memories that will last a lifetime. For some students, they may choose to take their girlfriend or boyfriend as their date. Others may choose to attend alone and enjoy the evening in the company of friends.

However, for Tatum Kelly and Leighton Long, they have a connection that goes deeper than a high school sweetheart. As children, Tatum and Leighton were both born prematurely at the same Tennessee hospital, just days apart, according to the video posted on YouTube.

Due to their small size, both Tatum and Leighton spent time in the NICU. However, during their stay, Tatum’s and Leighton’s family’s bond. The video even shows the parents acting as matchmaker between the two small infants.

After they were both released from the hospital, the families, despite living hours apart, continued to remain in touch. Tatum and Leighton grew to be friends. In the clip, Tatum even referred to Leighton as her “best friend.”

So, 17 years later, when Tatum needed a date to her senior prom, she reached out to her friend from the NICU – Leighton. Of course, Leighton accepted, and the two friends spent the evening together, creating memories that both will remember forever.

“Even though we hadn’t seen each other for a few years, when we met up, it was like nothing had changed,” Tatum said. 

The clip mentions that Leighton even managed to surprise his date for the evening with a stretch limousine. 

“It was a really, really fun experience,” Leighton said. “It was so surreal.”

With the help of her father, Reggie, 4-year-old Savannah, who goes by VanVan, has gone viral with her fun raps and adorable performances.

“I ain’t come to play, you know I’m hot, four-year-old, that top spot. I got now, I got later, going to the top like elevator. Riding around in that big wheel. VanVan, I’m a big deal. Riding around in that big wheel. VanVan, I’m a big deal,” the little girl raps on camera.

Her dad shared about Savannah’s personality and how she’s always been a little performer.

“Savannah has been a ball of energy since she’s been born. Always in front of the camera,” Reggie said. “Everything kind of took off during Covid. I kind of really noticed that she loved music, because I was able to be home from teaching. She loved music, loved being in front of the TV just singing different songs, just picking up cues and when to come in on the song. And I was like, man, she definitely has a special talent. We just started putting up videos just for fun on Facebook.”

That’s when people started to message Reggie  about how the videos of Savannah would brighten their day. And one time, VanVan started to rap to a beat that her dad put on, and her performance ended up going viral. She called the rap “Playing outside everyday” and was asked to perform it on the Tamron Hall Show. VanVan even has her own dance called the “VanVan shuffle.”

“We do shows right now. It has to make sense and go around her availability to when we can go and do things. We just got to make sure that we keep her safe, keep it in line, and make sure it makes her happy,” shared Reggie. “Because at the end of the day, if it doesn’t make her happy, we’re not gonna do it. Right now, she’s really enjoying it.” 

What a sweet and spunky little girl! We can’t wait to see where she goes next.

One young child is such a blessing to her mother due to the sweet and moving way she cares for and comforts her upset baby sister.

Parenting is not an easy task. It will be the most difficult, but, at the same time, the most rewarding job. Unlike one’s job and professional career, parenting is a 24-hour, 365-day-a-year assignment. There are no sick or vacation days, but the benefits of being a parent are better than any 401K imaginable. 

However, as rewarding as being a parent is, mom and dad can use a little help now and then. One woman received some help with her little one from an unexpected source: 6-year-old Deklyn, according to ParentingIsEasy.

A video posted on YouTube shows Erin Barsness’ oldest daughter, Deklyn, attending to the needs of her youngest, an upset Emmy. The clip shows Deklyn sitting on the couch with the crying child on her lap. 

She sweetly attends to the child’s needs while she rocks her back and forth. However, as she does this, the all-important pacifier falls out of the baby’s mouth. Deklyn notices this also and promptly places the item into the child’s mouth. The crying immediately ceases. 

Deklyn then begins swiping away the tears that have fallen down her little sister’s face. 

Erin, Emmy and Deklyn’s mother, recounts the sweet moment when her eldest daughter recalled over and provided tender, loving care to her youngest.

“When Emmy was crying, Deklyn ran over to her and started comforting her and consoling her,” Erin said. “I went to get up to go help her, and kind of relieve her since she was the first one over there. And she turned to me, and she said, ‘No, mom, I got this.’”

What a precious moment of love and kindness between two sisters!

“She’s really good at parenting, and I know it’s hard work for Mom,” Deklyn said. “So, then I just help them when they need help, like, with baby sisters.”

Psalm 127:3 “Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.”

One young man became emotional as he thanked his youth football coach for his help and guidance over the past season.

Coaches, much like teachers, can and do have a massive impact on society. Those men and women who assume coaching duties interact with young people on a regular or semi-regular basis. Their words, actions and lessons can affect a young man or woman’s life far beyond the field or court.

A video posted on TikTok is a perfect example of how much a coach can come to mean to their players. The short, 43-second clip starts with the coach kneeling on the ground as he opens a gift from one of his players.

After reaching down into the Avengers-themed bag, the coach pulls out a cup with a touching and very true message emblazoned across the container.

“A good coach can change a game, but a great coach can change a life,” the man says as he reads off the cup.

But that is not the only gift the coach receives, one young man wanted to read a letter he’d written to his football coach. However, he is overcome with emotion and begins crying before its conclusion.

“Dear Coach Richard, you have been the greatest coach of my life,” the young man reads. “I love you, Richard. I want you to show me your (unintelligible). You helped me love football again. Thank you for being my favorite coach.”

As the child concludes his heartfelt note, he is overcome with emotion. The coach envelops the young man in a warm and loving embrace. 

Coaching is, or should be, about more than wins, losses and strategy. They are teachers who can use their game to impart lifelong lessons and messages to their players. Sadly, most people in coaching forget this area of coaching, getting too caught up in winning and losing.

This video is an excellent reminder of the monumental impact coaches can have on young people.

One little girl, convinced she has spotted a character from the Disney film “Moana”, cannot contain her excitement.

Disney has produced a stunning number of classic films filled with adored characters throughout the decades. Characters in such films as “Inside Out,” “Frozen,” and “Big Hero 6” hold a special place in the hearts of many. 

However, “Moana,” a story about a Polynesian girl on a quest to break an ancient curse, has been one of the most beloved films from the company in recent memory. Even if you haven’t seen the film, you’re likely familiar with the wildly popular song “How Far I’ll Go,” which is from the film. 

A video posted to YouTube is a perfect example of the popularity of the film “Moana.” One little girl standing in line at the checkout counter at the supermarket absolutely believes that she has encountered one of the characters from the movie. 

The child begins jumping and down frantically. At first, it’s unclear why the young lady is so excited. The woman holding the camera asks, “Who is that?” A second young woman responds excitedly, “That’s Maui!”

The two girls are referring to the man working behind the checkout counter as the real-life version of Maui. Maui, of course, is one of the central characters from the animated film, voiced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

This does not appear to be the first time the man has gotten this kind of reaction. He is not phased at all. He tells the two girls to join him on the other side of the counter.

At first, it’s unclear what’s about to happen. However, once the girls join the person they believe to be the real-life version of an animated character, he asks them if they’re ready, counts down and lets out a loud yell. The kind and accommodating man then flashes a big smile to the camera. 

He could have easily gotten upset at the girls’ reaction, but instead, he humored them and played along, likely making their day. 

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”

One cute little girl stopped and wanted to know exactly where her father was before moving forward with her tumbling routine.

For the most part, children growing up are attached to their parents, not wanting to leave their side for more than a moment at a time. It makes sense, right? Parents provide their children with food, clothes, unconditional love and protection. Who wouldn’t want to keep a close eye on that person?

The video posted on Catapult Movement’s Facebook page shows the adorable child, who wears a red leotard, being led by the hand to the beginning of her floor exercise. Ahead of the routine, the child and her instructor stand and wave at the crowd, who responds with a hearty round of applause.

The child makes it over the first hurdle, but then tragedy strikes. She is immediately overwhelmed, placing her hands on her face. It doesn’t look good for the rest of her routine. The people looking on even let out a collective “aww.”

The little girl and the instructor share a few words then it’s clear what is bothering the young gymnast: she wants to know where her father is in the auditorium. 

The instructor asks, “Daddy, can you wave?” After the child spots her father in the crowd, she is all smiles while waving right back at her dad.

Then, after an encouraging round of applause and a little prodding and directing from the instructor on stage, the child continues her routine. She even places her head on the group and proceeds to flip over, much to the crowd's delight.

The last couple of minutes of the video consist of the little girl bouncing around, crawling through a tunnel on stage and twirling a red ribbon in the air. However, she does all of it with a massive smile on her face.

The little gymnast had the time of her life right after she found daddy, of course.

A massive, 100-pound dog exhibits extreme gentleness while providing sweet and loving care for a young child.

Most animals, like humans, want to be cared for and loved. In return, animals will display kindness, loyalty and love. Animals have surprising ways in which they show their love and loyalty. It may be that they refuse to leave the bedside of someone sick or provide comfort to an anxious or upset individual.

Animals may also show their love in how they care for a young child. That’s what Wally, a 135-pound dog adopted from China, did when a new family member crawled and cried into his life. 

A video posted on YouTube shows the moment Wally meets his new little sister Annika. Wally sniffs around on this new person, trying to figure her out. 

The introduction seemed to go well because the next shot is of the two waving at one another. Wally is outside on a deck while Annika sits and pounds on the sliding glass door. Wally lovingly reciprocates, lightly touching the glass door. 

Annika, likewise, is smitten with Wally. One clip shows the young child sitting on the bed as she looks into the room. She notices Wally walk in and cannot contain her joy after seeing her furry, four-legged friend. She begins squealing and bouncing around with joy.

The video also shows the moments when Annika begins learning to crawl and walk. The child pulls herself along on the floor, reaching out in front of her. Also, she takes a few steps here and there as she tries to get a hold of this whole walking thing. But as the video shows, Wally is never too far away, almost as if he’s there to protect her if she encounters any trouble.

Annika and Wally also go on walks together. The child and loving, gentle animal explore and enjoy the great outdoors. 

The two have developed a special bond over the years. Their love and friendship are very apparent. Wally’s owners will forever be grateful for the love, kindness and gentleness he has shown Annika, and by the end of the clip, their second daughter. 

“We love watching our girls grow up with Wally,” Wally’s owner said. “He just makes our family better. That’s just what he does.”

One young woman found a sweet and hilarious way to ask her father to take her to an upcoming father-daughter dance.

Within the last decade or so, social media has exploded with videos of young men asking young women to accompany them to a dance. Usually, these short clips are nothing more than showy, over-the-top and extravagant attempts to get attention on Facebook or Twitter. 

Seriously, how many ways can one 17-year-old ask another 17-year-old to a dance that happens annually? Apparently, a lot because those videos seem to populate social media around the first of May every year. 

Well, one video posted on YouTube shows one young woman went with a simpler and much more low-key route when asking someone to take her to the dance. Additionally, instead of going to the prom, the clip shows that the little girl wanted to go to the father-daughter dance. 

In the video, the child, who stands at the end of the driveway, holds up a sign with a message written in several colors, indicating her desire to go to the dance.

The sign reads, “Daddy will you be my date to the Father/Daughter Dance?” 

That’s a simple enough request? But the little girl also managed to infuse a bit of humor in her sweet inquiry of her father. Seconds later, the little girl turns her sign around, which has an additional message.

The back of her sign reads, “If yes, Can I borrow some money to buy tickets?”

The short video ends before the girl gets a firm answer, but it’s safe to say that her father took her to the dance. He may have even offered to buy the tickets, too.

This sweet, touching gesture, a daughter asking to spend a fun evening with her father, is likely a moment they both will remember for a long time.

A class of young women in New York City showed nothing but pure joy and excitement at the wonder of nature as they set free butterflies.

Children are precious gifts from the good Lord. Sure, they may be loud, rowdy and get on their mom and dad’s last nerve every now and then. However, children are innocent, trusting and full of optimism and happiness. 

One video posted on Instagram of a class of pre-K girls at Covenant of the Sacred Heart in New York City perfectly displays the wonder and joy present in so many young children. The class of little girls crowd around a short, steel fence as an older gentleman, carrying a net-like container, slightly leans over the railing and releases a butterfly.

Smiles and laughter abound as the girls jump around excitedly while the creatures fly away. They simply cannot contain their joy and excitement. 

Later in the video, someone else steps in, and with the girls crowding around her, releases another butterfly. The girls, once again, are overjoyed. Their reaction is not diminished in the slightest. 

As the caption to the short video explains, the children were “witnessing the beauty of nature’s transformation firsthand.” The video comes after the class of children had been looking after caterpillars, according to Sunny Skyz. 

The video captures the children helping release the caterpillars after they had become butterflies into the school’s garden.

Children, at that age, are not too familiar with the world. They are still exploring and learning and have not seen all the danger and evil that is alive and well in society. Seeing something so simple as butterflies give children such a thrill and so much joy is a reminder of the innocence of young children. 

It’s clear from every child’s reaction in the video that they all had an absolutely fantastic time.

One child was caught on camera pulling off a unique and hilarious crib escape maneuver and trying to cover his tracks.

Children are precious gifts from the good Lord. As any parent knows, children add much joy and love to life. While not every moment as a parent is sunshine and roses, the good outweighs the bad. But watching children grow, learn and interact with their surrounding environment is definitely one of the joys of being a parent. 

However, as a hilarious video posted on YouTube shows, one child has figured out a way to interact with his environment a little too well. With ingenuity and creativity, the child overcomes a major problem: getting out of his crib.

In the clip's opening seconds, the child places one leg on top of the crib. But likely feeling the distance from the crib to the floor was too great, the child nixes that idea. Instead, he comes up with a different, much more manageable and less dangerous plan.

The child lies on his stomach in the crib and then, using his right foot, pushes the crib away from the wall. After the initial move, the little guy stands and slowly but surely pushes the crib toward the bed in the room.

Once the crib is right up against the bed, the child finally makes his much anticipated and long-awaited escape from the crib. He lets himself fall face-first out of the crib and onto the bed. 

He is finally free!

The child, while carrying a stuffed animal, walks by the crib and heads for the exit. However, before he leaves the room, he rethinks his escape plan just a tad. He wants to cover up his deed. 

He turns around to the crib and pushes the bed against the wall. It’s now where it began. In the child’s mind, no one will ever suspect a thing.
