Everyone wants to live a life that is both happy and fulfilling and also one that has direction and purpose. However, happiness is very elusive for many people. They’ll search far and wide for anything that will make them happy and feel fulfilled.

Most people will try this and that, hoping it will provide them with some semblance of happiness. But whatever happiness people discover in things is always temporary, and their search will continue after a while. Followers of Christ know and understand that the only authentic, lasting happiness and fulfillment is found in Him. His forgiveness, love and mercy can fulfill and sustain us, providing what so many people in the world are searching for.

While true, actual happiness and fulfillment can only be found in Jesus Christ, there are still things in this world that are intended to be enjoyed. As a video posted on social media shows, one young man believes he has found what makes him happy. The little guy even informs his father about what brings him happiness.

“You know what makes me happy, Daddy?” the little guy asks in the cutest Scottish accent.

His father, wanting to know and understand what makes his youngster happy, responds.

“What makes you happy, son?” Dad asks.

I think most people would completely agree with that young man’s statement about the sweet treat.

Children add so much joy, love and happiness to life. Bringing children into our lives and homes is one of the best, most significant ways the Lord touches our lives. There is just nothing that beats witnessing your youngster’s first steps or hearing their first words. No matter what position we may hold during our career, there will never be a title more important than Mom or Dad.

As great as children are, they all seem to have this nasty habit of growing up. Every parent wants their child to stay little for as long as possible. Blink, and your son or daughter’s childhood is over. Before you know it, you’re watching them back out of your driveway for the last time.

That’s why Moms and Dads must and need to cherish the time they have with their children. It’s precious, and once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Make memories with your children whenever and wherever possible. That’s precisely what one man did when he decided to join his daughter on stage for her ballet recital.

Siblings, especially when they are young children, do not always see eye-to-eye. Children will seemingly find any excuse, any slight difference, to raise a commotion and cause a stir. These childish skirmishes can range from an argument to an all-out physical altercation ending in tears and hurt feelings.

Parents know and understand the differences and fights that occur between siblings all too well. These are often great sources of irritation and annoyance for parents who want their kids to get along with one another. Is that too much to ask?

It can take so much to get a child to eat their vegetables. It is challenging to have them eat what is healthy for them with so many food options out there. However, this video reminds us that we too often do not naturally go for what is beneficial. We can often seek out our sinful ways. As we laugh watching these parents try their hardest to give their baby girl the best possible food, may it remind us that God our Father wants the best for us, and although He would never trick us into His will, He does desire it for us just like these parents do for their daughter. His will is described as “good, pleasing and perfect.” Who would not want that? Thank you, God.

As every parent knows, children enjoy playing and doing anything that involves a lot of running around. One of the most popular activities among children is the classic game of Hide-and-Seek. Most moms and dads have participated in their fair share of Hide-and-Seek adventures.

Some of those games last longer than others, with the seeker quickly discovering the person in hiding. However, others last longer than anticipated. A big brother and his precious little sister had an adorable back-and-forth on numbers.

An education is one of the few things in life that will never be completed. There will always be something more to learn and understand. Even individuals who hold multiple degrees from some of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world can still learn more. We all have more to learn.

Without understanding basic facts and figures, one wouldn’t get very far in life or even function well in society. For that reason, children are sent to school at an early age. They learn information that will hopefully help them as they grow and eventually enter the job market.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your perspective and proficiency with numbers, a basic, minimal understanding of math is necessary. Mathematics and its many concepts, equations and formulas have always seemed to be one of those subjects that people either grasp immediately or struggle mightily with in school.

In a short but hilarious clip, a young man, Jack of the South, and his adorable little sister are at the kitchen table hard at work. They are working on a sheet filled with various numbers, which they mark with a black, erasable marker.

A young man selected a baseball instead of money and ended up experiencing “the best day” of his life.

Everyone needs money to function and survive in the world. Without an adequate amount of money, life is significantly more complicated. Even when money is tight and may not be coming in at the rate we’d like, the frequency at which bills come in never slows.

However, as much as we may need and be concerned about money, it’s not the be-all and end-all. Money certainly isn’t everything in life. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to return to a time and place when money was not a primary concern? Possibly back when we were children, and having fun and being with friends was way more important than money?

Well, time travel has not been perfected yet, but one video posted on social media captures that innocent time in one sweet young man’s life. In the clip, the young man, Mason, is approached on the street and offered a choice. He is given the option of selecting a baseball or a stack of cash.

The little guy, surprisingly, chooses the “mystery baseball.” He does so because he “found baseball” when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and has loved the game ever since. After making his selection, Mason is handed a letter informing him that he’s going to a baseball game and will get to meet some of the players on the Philadelphia Phillies.

He squats down to tell us that his kids think that he is coming home next week and that he is surprising them. He goes to the door and knocks on it, stepping back to say hello. It reminds us that one day we too will be reunited with our Heavenly Father in a great surprise. We will see Him face to face and be with Him forever home. He will wipe away the tears from our eyes and we will be in celebration that eternity in heaven has begun.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”  Revelation 21:4

A child was hilariously chased after they snagged the bouquet at a wedding.

Weddings are beautiful and heartwarming, usually bringing tears to many people’s eyes. It’s a life-changing moment, a ceremony when two people in love vow to remain together no matter what life may throw at them. What isn’t to love about weddings?

Most people want to get married, but finding the right person can take some time. Dating is a trial-and-error process that can be painful and also bring people to tears. Understanding how difficult it can be to find Mr. or Mrs. Right, people will take all the help they can get, even if it’s purely ceremonial and superstitious.

A short but hilarious clip on social media shows how far some people are willing to go to find the person of their dreams.  The 30-second clip starts with the bride, with her back to a group of 15 people or so, standing on the steps of what is likely the church she just said “I do” in.

Seconds later, with a strong throw, the bride sends her bouquet flying into the air. However, the bride’s heave is a little too strong for those intending to catch the flowers. The bouquet goes over most of the crowd and lands in the hands of a young man, standing at the back of the group.

Apparently, the little guy knew the significance of tossing and catching the bouquet because he headed in the other direction as soon as it landed in his hands. It’s a good thing that seemed to be his plan of action because he has several women who immediately give chase to the little guy and his flowers.

One woman gives it a few steps and decides to call it quits. However, one young woman is pretty persistent. She runs until he gets too far ahead of her. Once that woman quits, another woman runs after the young man but eventually falls.

Who knew the bouquet at a wedding was that important to single women?

Time with your children is precious and limited—ask any parent. Children have a nasty habit of growing up and eventually moving out of your house to start their own lives and careers. Blink, and that infant is now learning to drive, about to graduate from high school and preparing to head off to college.

That’s why parents have to take every opportunity to make memories with their children. Even if you’re tired or not feeling the greatest, spending time with your child or children is something that you’ll never regret doing. It’s also time you’ll never get back; once that opportunity and moment is gone, it’s gone forever.

A sweet and short clip posted on social media shows a loving father making the most of time with his adorable infant daughter. It’s likely to be one of the most heartwarming and cute videos you’ll see all day, perhaps the entire week.

In the video, a little girl sits comfortably on a couch. Her father is right in front of her, holding up swimsuits. He is trying to help her choose the right one for her first swim. This is a momentous occasion, and selecting the right outfit is of paramount importance. 

Dad gives the young woman two options: a dark pink and a light pink swimsuit. The light pink bathing suit even has a famous face on the front. Minnie Mouse is on the suit, which the adorable girl looks at and seems to consider thoroughly.

After a few frowns, smiles, giggles and with help from Dad, the precious baby girl eventually makes a selection. She chooses the dark pink suit for her first dip in a swimming pool.

A father created an adorable roller coaster ride experience for his young daughter using a laundry basket.

While summertime is often hot and humid, it provides the best and most opportunities for people to enjoy outdoor activities. One of the most popular things to do during the summer is visit theme parks. 

Who doesn’t love spending a day in the summer sun riding tons of intense thrill rides and scarfing down delicious but terribly unhealthy food?

However, while many of those rides and attractions are why anyone visits those parks, some are left unable to ride. The biggest thrill rides, like roller coasters, often have a height or weight requirement. That can cause some smaller park attendees to wait while others have all the fun.

Well, one dad came up with the perfect solution to that problem. He devised an ingenious and wholesome idea to give his young daughter a ride on a roller coaster using a television and a laundry basket.

In a clip posted on YouTube, point-of-view footage of a roller coaster plays on the television as the dad holds his youngster in the laundry basket. He then reacts accordingly, moving her up, down or side to side depending on the coaster's track layout.

The adorable little girl is having the time of her life, smiling and giggling as her sweet and loving father treats her to a ride on a coaster. That ride will likely be a memory she will never forget, and she didn’t even have to leave her living room.

It’s not entirely clear, but from bits and pieces of the coaster’s track that can be spotted on the television, it looks like the little girl is getting a ride on the Incredicoaster, an Incredibles-themed roller coaster at Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim, California.
