Howdy from your favorite travel guinea pig! This week, we have a family theme throughout the offering and this theme brings up a few good points whether or not you have children. Keep reading. If you do not have children, then may I ask you to please be patient with children you find yourself in close proximity to when you are traveling? Remember, they are out of their routine and even if they appear to be having fun, it can be stressful. Plus, the parents will appreciate your tolerance (as they used to be sans kids one day yesteryear too). On the flip side, if you are bringing the kids out into the open…then for heaven sake take care of them. A vacation for your children is not a vacation for you. That may be a controversial statement, but I believe it. Parents…know where your children are and what they are doing at all times. Bringing children on a vacation is very important. Instilling in them the value of travel early on is invaluable. However, it is up to ALL of the adults to keep their cool. Have a fantastic week!
